I’m willing to bet Justin Fargas rushes for more yards this year than McFadden.

It will be like the retard fight on South Park.

    435 yards to 380.

  8. crister Says:

can someone please refresh my memory? what happened to sam williams? did he get cut or something? i havent’ seen his name pop up at all and he was definitely on scholarship… maybe i’m just getting old and don’t remember. that or the joy of russell getting cut took up most of my offseason raider information attention.

  9. RaiderLen Says:

    JFB, you crazy.

  10. RaiderLen Says:

DMAC will trip over grass for more yds than Lil Huggy.

  11. RaiderLen Says:

  12. 860Todd Christensen Says:

Any ideas for a linc on Thursday, NFL, Bspn ?????

  13. Just Fire Baby Says:

Now I do think Darren can be VERY effective in the passing game, because he is faster and shiftier without the ball in his hands.

But the football is McFadden’s kryptonite. He immediately turns to crap with it in his hands.

  14. 860Todd Christensen Says:

Dish Network here, or puter linc?

  15. 860Todd Christensen Says:

Cmon JFB, feel the DMAC love. If a guy named Tiki can get over it, DMAC can as well.

Of course, the 2nd time he fumbles, I’ll be cursing his mother.

  17. Just Fire Baby Says:

Not as worried about the fumbles as much as his inability to break tackles and make guys miss. Throw in the fact he has been just as injury-prone as Chaz in his two years as well.

You can deal with fumbles if he is productive otherwise.

  18. 860Todd Christensen Says:

Len, is this game available on the East Coast? I don’t get a TV Guide, any Idea’s who’s televising it?

  19. HairyBush Says:

Somehow I knew Fargas would sign with Dungver.

  20. Just Fire Baby Says:

    860,

Don’t know what to tell brother. I get the Dallas feed this Thursday, than it is sports bars probably for the rest of the preseason.

Did get the NFL package for the season, so don’t have to sweat it. All for the killer-deal of $319, lol.

  24. 860Todd Christensen Says:

  25. HairyBush Says:

the thought of Nnamdi and Revis on the same team would make things pretty interesting,

    =======================================================

Agree with everything. Breaking tackles MAY be a by product of injury.

DMAC is not shifty, so he will never be compared to Marcus Allen with an innate ability to chage direction on a dime…but His speed should enable him to out run some defenders that would require a slower back to be shifty.

Injury, or the inability to stay relatively healthy is a big concern.

  34. Just Fire Baby Says:

I was hoping for about 450 yards rushing and 850 receiving from McFadden this year, maybe a half dozen TD’s to boot.

  39. HairyBush Says:

Hopefully if the Raiders have a respectable season I won’t take the ridicule I get when I go out in my Raider gear. Actually I will probaly be called a bandwagon fan, even though I have been a die hard fan since the late 80’s. People where I live are the biggest hypocrites, they didn’t give a darn about the Pats until about a decade go. I have suffered through many bad seasons and have always stayed true unlike poser Pats fans from where I live. I look foward to the Pats dynasty to die.

  51. Just Fire Baby Says:

I don’t think we will see much of Brennan as far as passing the ball.

Unless it is a 2-minute drill at the end of the game, maybe 5 attempts or so, with a couple just rollouts and 5-6 yard passes.

DMC is becoming more and more of a disappointment. MBush just needs to get that job already. They should find a dependable backup for Bush and if DMC stays or ever gets healthy he’ll be a luxury. I wouldn’t count on him another day. For the money effort they’ve put into DMC they’ve gotten nothing more than what they got from Russell. But for some reason DMC escapes wrath of the Raider Nation. They even get on DHB worse than DMC and WR is 3x’s harder to play.

Nnamdi I think is head and shoulders above so many (not just in the NFL) as far as intelligence goes that he wouldn’t let himself get into a rut. I think he prepares for Jabar Gaffney the same way he prepares for Randy Moss. Nnamdi in my opinion just wants to help the team more by trying to make more plays. I think regardless of where he is on the field his head will always be in the game. I have a lot of respect for him as a player/person. Where do we get more Nnamdi’s?!?!?!?

    Hairybush

It isn’t going to be one injury after another, IT HAS BEEN one injury after another. This hamstring is going to bother him for some time believe me because he is a quick twitch muscle type. Everytime he wants to burst he’s going to be thinking about it. That alone could cause him to injure something else, he’s just injury prone that’s the bottom line. The work they did at the start of camp to lessen these types of injury didn’t even help him.

He’s just like Chaz an injury waiting to happen, it’s that simple. There are too many HB’s that can help us one just signed with the Broncos. I’m hoping Rock sticks because Bennet is just like DMC or else he would’ve had a decent career but can’t stay healthy.

  104. fat kidd Says:

According to the Twitter account of Raiders RB Michael Bush, free agent Justin Fargas has agreed to sign with the Broncos.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter confirms that Fargas is en route to Denver and scheduled for a Tuesday night physical. The Broncos need warm bodies at tailback with Knowshon Moreno, Correll Buckhalter, and LenDale White all hurt. Fargas will probably be no more than preseason fodder for the Broncos.

Tough to swallow that among our “big 3″ drafted on offense in recent years, it may equate to minimal return. We all know Russell is gone, so that was a waste of time/money/draft pick.

DMAC maybe will be a “luxary” this season, and someone we unfortunetley can’t depend on. My screen name is in dedication to M.Bush, so obviously I’m on board with him carrying the bulk of running plays. I think with the proper condtioning he could pan out to be the 1st round pick he could of been, (had he not broken his leg.) If DMAC does by some miracle manage to to stay healthy, I see Hue Jax utilizing him in many creative ways. (Not pounding him up the middle-*cough* Cable.)

We have all been hearing positive things in regard to DHB but I need to see it in a regular season game when it matters. I like DHB’s attitude and work ethic but no matter how good he becomes it will probaly never balance out to where he was taken in the draft. I underatand you try to bring some reality to this blog and I appreciate that, but I still would like to see how the season unfolds. The Raiders are used to bad breaks and things not going there way for quite a while now. I’m a big believer in karma and maybe it’s time this thing gets turned around. BTW I love Fargas for his heart and dedication but we are realistically better off without him. I will welcome him back in 5 years as an assistant coach :)

Trainers can only do so much, you as an athlete have to know your body and what it takes to stay healthy and in top conditon. I would bet dollars to doughnts that DMC didn’t stretch properly before practice. You’d be very surprised how just stretching can cut down n a lot of injuries. Guy’s with quick twitch fibers need to stretch a lot more than someone who doesn’t have that body type.

They go throught stretching excercising before every practice but DMC should know he needs to warm up his body before practice or a game or else he has a hightened chance of injury.
