What we really learned from training camp:
1. Raiders have a legitimate shot at 7-9 with a few breaks.
2. Raiders have no real center, offensive tackle, or primary receiver.
3. Al Davis still a cancer on this organization.
4. Kool-aid drinkers on this blog still delusional and incapable of insightful critical analysis.
5. Hope springs eternal when every team is 0-0.
6. Al is another year closer to his demise.

Campbell is Kerry Collins part II in my opinion. Hes not a bad player, he'll put up decent enough numbers to keep his job, he will have the occasional big passing day. But he's not the type of QB who can lead this team out of its 7 year slump. For excited as people are about Campbell, he was 4-12 as a starter last year, 20-32 for his career. The biggest criticism about Campbell in Washington is that he was indecisive and hung onto the ball too long. Campbells bad habits coupled with our inexperienced, and frankly subpar, receiving corps will not bode well for this team. Campbell will be an upgrade over Russell, and he will certainly put up better numbers than JaFootlong, but dont expect him to lead this team to the playoffs. Campbell puts up respectable stats and completes a high percentage of his passes by checking down to his backs and tight ends all the time. He wont lose games for you, but he wont win them for you either.
