M.Waulfe must know him well it would make sense to cut Condo for him as we are pretty thin on the DL

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Word. Been saying for a while that Condo was not worth his slot on the 53.

;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Until Janikowski starts missing FGs and the you will blame the kicker...and say he never was worth the 1st rd draft choice. Condo also gets down the field well and can tackle as he was a former LB. He is important to the kicking game!

I didnt blame Huff for Forte's 89yd run... only the last 59. He made a half assed attempt and got burned. I know MY coaches ALWAYS taught me angle of pursuit. If Huff even got an arm on Forte it would have slowed him up enough for Tyvon to catch him. We know our 3rd string Dlineman got blown up on that play, and RoMac got taken out by a very good (center I think). No excuses. Huff should have watched forte get tackled after a 3yd run... fact is just because its NOT Huffs fault that Forte broke free into the secondary doesnt negate his responsiblity to be the last line of defense.

No I see your point Bcz, I'm just saying it has been done with success. The Raiders biggest problem is with stopping the run not the pass. I don't want a rookie MLB messing with a good pass D. Just let the kid focus on the RB and start there.

....You have the highest paid kicker and punter in the league.

Might as well give them the highest paid snapper too.

Its like putting worn out balding tires on a high performance sports car.

Hey, that analogy fits the fact that Tom Cable is our HC too! Talk about worn out balding tires...20-55 as a HC!

Here’s the thing. Good run defense or not, CJ’s going to get his yards. He did it all last season so there’s no reason to think that he won’t do it here.

But even last season, CJ’s yards alone weren’t enough to win consistently. It’s going to be up to the Raiders to make the Titans, Vince Young in particualar, take some chances to win.

If the Raiders can win the turnover battle, that’s going to be a big part of it. They need to play smart on offense. Control the ball. If they can dominate in time of possession, it’ll give the Titans less time to run the ball.

Avoid turnovers, minimize 3-and-outs, and stop the Titans from getting good field position to begin their drives. Do that and the Raiders have a very good shot to take this one.

I think the defense would do well to leave a spy on Vince Young, because if he doesn’t see anywhere to throw it he’s going to try to run it.

The Raiders need to contain C.J...sure he'll get some yards...but 60 and 80 yard sprints to the end zone are unacceptable...I don't care who's running the football.

Give up one or two of those a game and you are going to lose more than you win.

The Raidrs have to go in there DETERMINED to stop the run. Not just HOPING they stop it or being satsified with plodding efforts because everyone is seeking out QB sacks on every play

The problem I see with McClain is he is not flying around. He seems to be in his stance thinking and waiting for the play to come to him. I hope this is just a case of a rookie over thinking so he dosn't mess up. With time the instincts should take over, SHOULD!
