McFadden inactive, Gradkowski No. 3

No surprises or miracles. Darren McFadden is inactive for the second consecutive game with a hamstring injury and Bruce Gradkowski was designated as the No. 3 quarterback, meaning Kyle Boller is a play away from seeing action today against the 49ers at Candlestick Park.
It’s rainy and wet _ should be a good game for guys who should be heavy-footed mudders such as Michael Bush.
The bulk of my time during the game will be with a live chat. I’ll try and check back here from time to time at quarter breaks. Be forewarned _ wireless here is supposed to be pretty erratic. We’ll hope for the best . . .
Other Raiders inactives: CB Walter McFadden, RB Michael Bennett, LB Travis Goethel, LB Thomas Howard, DT John Henderson and WR Chaz Schilens.
For the 49ers, inactives are WR Kyle Williams, S Curtis Taylor, TE Delanie Walker, T Barry Sims, G Tony Wragge, T Alex Boone and WR Jason Hill.

Hard to say MM is a bust right now since the coaches seem to be in love with Shavonn Branch. Other than that fum recovery last week, I can’t recall impact plays that Shavonn has made in the last 2 years.

they are a terrible roadteam this year. Got busted by Sea, KC, and us. It bugged me all week how people were trying to pump up SD while trashing STL. STL is a lot better than Raider fans realize this year. They have only had 1 bad game all year.

We should have drafted Oher. I thought he was the best Oline prospect his year and maybe I was biased for his story. However, He turned out better than Smith in STL and Smith in Cinci.

I haven’t given up on DHB. I think he’s being used incorrectly. ALl they do is run him deep. No screens, few slants…nothing…just deep azz routes….freekn stupid.
I don’t blame DHB for that. He does block well.
Drafting receivers high is a Huuuuuge risk.
Hopefully DHB can turn it around….but he’s got to make catches….I’ve never heard of a hall of fame clear out receiver!

Unless the skill guy is “can’t miss” you wait to draft skill guys in the top 10.
DHB and Crabtree are not outperforming guys like DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Hakeem Nicks and others….
I’ll take a strong O and D Line and staff the rest with mediocre skill position guys.
Then fill in the skill guys when your lines are bossin it up

I just want to document why I know the Raiders are going to lose today:
1. The NFL is corrupt as any other corporation. Their #1 goal is to make money
2. An 0-6 teams is NOT good business.
3. S.F. is in fire because the Giants won the game last night. The city is pumped and that could of good fortune is going to have an affect on this game.
4. The Raiders are going to get phantom fowls that are going to stall our drives and the 9ers are going to be benefactors of calls that keep their drives alive.
5. The Raiders lost to the 9ers in pre-season and Alex has victory over them in the regular season. Therefore, they have the “vision” of what it is like to win against the silver and black and that will be a factor.
6. TC sounds like he has his team ready to do battle today but history speaks for itself. Consecutive victories are a no-no.
There are many other reasons the Raiders will lose but that is my prediction.
