True. Awful job by the rookie on that play, but come on, the offense wasn’t going anywhere all day. That would’ve been another one of Campbell’s patented 2-yard pass plays and there was nothing to suggest we’d score, convert a 2-point conversion and win it in OT at that point.

Also, true. There wasn’t anything to suggest that we’d come back and win but it doesn’t mean that we definitely without a doubt wouldn’t have either. As long as they weren’t getting blown out and were with the ball with time left there’s usually a shot.

Your DT’s are just the focal point they aren’t what makes your run defense great, it’s the entire defense. That’s what makes a great run defense.

There’s some truth to what you say.

Nonetheless, I’m still going to say that Tommy Kelly is a subpar DT getting paid way too much money, and I find it hard to believe he’d start anywhere else.

True that a good pair of DTs won’t guarantee a strong run defense, but it sure is a good place to start when building one.

And while some here are guilty of blasting or underrating Raider players, the reverse is also true.

And guess what Preist ? You’re a prime example. None of the regulars here will ever forget you defending JaMoron to the bitter end and insisting he’d be a great QB.
