Change _ Chris Johnson inactive
By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Sunday, October 31st, 2010 at 12:28 pm in Oakland Raiders.
Cornerback Chris Johnson was designated as inactive, with Walter McFadden taking his place _ a change in the original announcement Sunday.
Johnson apparently has not sufficiently recovered a concussion suffered last week. Cable said if Johnson wasn’t active, then Jeremy Ware would play as the nickel back and Michael Huff could also be used in the role.
Obviously there’s much more to judging the severity of a concussion than the naked eye. Johnson was alert and animated Monday, the day after he was diagnosed with a concussion. He laughed and joked with reporters, recounted his 30-yard interception return, and was laughing and talking informally on other subjects as well.
Bruce Gradkowski will serve as the Raiders third quarterback, with Kyle Boller as the backup.

I like Ware, he plays aggressively. Might get burnt a couple times, but it’ll be good to see what the kid has.

It is the time of year to win games not see what some rookie has.

Well what do you want? Chris Johnson is out. Nothing’s going to change that. You’re going to get to see what the rookie has whether you like it or not.
