Gradkowski on the mend

By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Sunday, October 31st, 2010 at 11:13 am in Oakland Raiders.

Finally, some visual evidence Bruce Gradkowski is indeed making progress with his sprained A-C joint.

Gradkowski is currently on the field, throwing passes of about 20 yards in length, not exactly airing it out, but not looking as if he’s straining, either.

Coach Tom Cable has talked about Gradkowski’s improvement the last two weeks, but the quarterback had done very little in the presence of the media.

No guarantee Gradkowski will be ready to play when the Raiders host Kansas City next week, but looks like it’s at least a possibility.

Whats the weather report for the game?

  3. Plunketthead Says:

We need to beat the Seashrimps before we figure out how we can stop Kansas Chitty from running the ball up and down the field next week.

Weather conditions are ideal. The sun is shining brightly, with clouds in view only on the distant horizon. The temperature is approaching 60 degrees with more than three hours remaining til the 4:15 p.m. ET kickoff. According to Mike Sando of ESPN.

Cowboys are done. What kinds of moves do you guys seem them making in February?

  8. YoungAmerican Says:

I wonder if the Cowboys will be unloading Roy Williams. Wouldn’t mind seeing him in Silver and Black.

  9. Just Fire Baby Says:

Drafting an O-lineman in the top 10, releasing Roy Williams and Barber…….and hiring a top-flight coach.

  10. SnB Production Says:

Cowboys are going to have to blow it up and start over.

Jerry Jones is either going to have to cede some control…or hire another retread or some unproven

  11. J Hill Says:

    JFB,

You bust out the Killian’s for the W’s game tonight?

  12. Just Fire Baby Says:

Killian’s is on ice until next year in Denver my friend.

Besides, the W’s don’t need any type of ju-ju for tonights game.

My hair is Silver and Black, lol

  17. YoungAmerican Says:

Raiders should grab Roy Williams and Jared Gaither in free agency, then focus the draft on C, G, NT, and either CB or FS.

  18. Just Fire Baby Says:

Maybe this will be the week RoMac gets involved with his first professional turnover.

Got off the sack schneid last week, so a pick or forced fumble is next.

  19. jwallen21 Says:

So fellow raiders fans!! What do we need to do to win….I say at least 100 yards rushing from Mcfadden/bush and keep the seahawks honest by throwing deep to ford and DHB(please catch the ball this week), also throw some short routes to them to get the confidence up and defense keeping lynch from 100 yard game. Lynch gets stronger as the game goes on.

  20. YoungAmerican Says:

Raiders need to control the passes to Forsett in the flat, and win the field position battle. Can’t let Leon Washington and Golden Tate make big returns. Campbell has to make fewer mistakes than Hasselbeck.

  21. raidermarty Says:

You’re right YA. Forsett did some good things against us in the preseason. Can’t let him get loose
