Nnamdi better be ready to go on Sunday! We need to jump on the Dolphins early. Campbell needs to respond with a better than average game. This is a must win, and people need to show up and support their team!

This team is improving, but we need to fix a few issues before we can become a great team.
IMO:
1- We need to fix the OL. I think Veldheer is a great talent for a 3rd RD pick, but he is more of a RT since he has great power but can't keep up with speed. Same issue with Walker at RT. Next year, I think Veldheer should play RT, Walker play RG, and Campbell at LT.
2- We need to add another CB, unless McFadden develops into a good CB.
3- We need to add a blocking FB to use on some downs like GL, short yardage situations, etc...
4- improve the coaching staff. Sanjay lal should be fired.
5- draft C, OL, QB, CB, OLB, DT, and FB.

# Dirtiest Raccoon Says:
November 24th, 2010 at 5:51 pm

If Bush stays it will say a lot about how much he buys into the system we are running. If he doesn’t come back we will need another RB!

------------

Indeed. Luckily it seems that RB is one of the easier positions to find in the draft, especially if it's just for a change of pace back.

Bush is a great talent, very versatile player, but the Raiders probably can't afford to pay him like a starter.

Sweep runs and screens will make the DB's creep closer. Play action will get them burnt. It's not hard, those are quick plays for the QB. Should get him into rhythm, WR bubble screens if they play off, make them come to you. We need to dictate our offense not allow them to have us doing what they want. They blitz screen play, they play off, bubble screen, they stack the line, run sweep.

Yes Seymour, Gallery, Bush are must haves.

FA Gaither would be a HUGE upgrade!

Routt, and Huff only if no better options come up.

We may need to still go OL in the second round for depth and quality.

-----------------

If a top-rated T or G falls into the second round, it wouldn't be a bad idea.

I think Huff has been playing well, and it could be hard to find a guy to immediately replace him and play well as a one-deep safety. If he leaves, though, I would try to work out a trade with New England and bring in FS Jarrad Page.

I'm not thrilled with Routt, but unless a guy like Ras-I Dowling falls to the Raiders in the second round it might not be easy to replace him. I'm still hoping Walter McFadden comes along enough to be a contender for a starting spot next season.
