Henne in the picture for Raiders

By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Wednesday, November 24th, 2010 at 4:36 pm in Oakland Raiders.

Quarterback Chad Henne, who according to initial reports was possibly out for the season when he injured his knee on Nov. 14 against Tennessee, is practicing and has inserted himself into the picture to start against the Raiders.

“I feel pretty good,’’ Henne told reporters in Miami following practice. “I have been rehabbing and it has been going better each and every day. That’s a plus. We haven’t had any setbacks. I don’t know where it is, but I am practicing and it keeps getting better each and every day.”

Sparano declined to name a starter.

Here is how Sparano characterized the hamstring injury of wide receiver Brandon Marshall to the Miami media:

“I mean I’m not going to get into that but he’s doing well. It’s just a little slower thing than I’d like it to be or than Brandon (Marshall) would like it to be…but right now he’s doing well so we’ll see where he is. We got a couple days left.”

Why does everybody heal faster than Schilens?

  • RAIDERindallas

Because He doesnt want to be here. Isn’t it obvious? I mean am I the ONLY one that’s seeing this? I guarantee you he wont be here at the start of next season.

Stephen Wisniewski with our first pick in 2011. Find a way to trade up.

    ————–

This would be awesome, but I’m not sure what they would use to trade up a handful of spots. 5th round pick? Future draft picks?

    *************

We MUST use our 2012 first round pick to get this guy!

This team needs to win while the window is open! This team is a good O-line and a good QB from being GREAT!

    Make it happen AL!

    ——————-

    Wouldn’t be a bad deal.

    So if that happens:

    Trade 2012 1st rounder for 2011 1st rounder
1st round – C Stephen Wisniewski (Penn State)
2nd round – WR Michael Floyd (Notre Dame)
3rd round – QB Nathan Enderle (Idaho)
5th round – OG Will Rackley (Lehigh) or CB Davon House (New Mexico State)
6th round – NT Ian Willaims (Notre Dame)

Sign FA G Harvey Dahl, RT Jared Gaither

Re-sign Seymour, Gallery, Huff, Bush, Routt.

    ***************

Yes Seymour, Gallery, Bush are must haves.

FA Gaither would be a HUGE upgrade!

Routt, and Huff only if no better options come up.

We may need to still go OL in the second round for depth and quality.

Schilens will not be here next year. But Henne should stay out from this game because Raiders will take the dolphins for a little swim!!!

Why Schilens doesn’t heal faster?… I’m starting to wonder if Chaz is still living…
