How ya doin, Vegas? It’s been awhile.
You got to enjoy a SF Giant Championship. I had to settle for a Joey Votto MVP award. Oh well. LOL.

You’re right, though. The raiders should be playing meaningful football into Dec for the first time in a long while.

After not having won more than five games in a season for seven straight years..I think most of us, if asked in the preseason would be thrilled to be 5-5 after 10 weeks.

Yes, the beatdown in pittsburgh left a bitter taste in everybody’s mouth. But I do not expect this team to tank. Or lose out. They bounce back and thump Miami in fact, IMO.

Raiders need to bounce back from the embarrassment of the Steeler loss. I think they will. This team seems to have been a resilient bunch so far.

They cannot take Miami lightly however. The Dolphins are 5-5 also and have actually played better on the road. That Cameron Wake is a pass rushing freak. Raider OT’s better be on top of their game. Athletic, playmaking LB’s in Karlos Dansby and Channing Crowder,also. They are no slouch.

Raiders need and should bounce back and win this one, though. If Indy can beat SD Sunday night, that would set up for a very big game in SoCal next week.

The talking heads have already handed the West to the Chargers. Raiders could put an end to that talk.

But, first things first.

Uh, is the season over? Raiders only have 5 wins. And although I don’t think they’ll lose out, it’s certainly possible, considering the QB decision that was made immediately after the loss Sunday. Team Davis have tanked worse.

Kind of like the Raiders…except the Raiders siesta started the minute after beating KC. Detroit put up a much better fight against NE than we did against the Steelers. NE just ran it up a little at the end to save face.

Giving thanks on Turkey Day to all the Raider Nation that keeps this blog moving and so entertaining that we can all kill that hour or 4 that we are all looking to do on here.

Give a special thanks to Al Davis, who has figured out a way to win with no QB and Tom Cable as a coach this season. Not exactly the typical recipe for success, but a win this weekend and we got serious football in December.

All we can ask for right??
