Kelly fined $20,000
By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Friday, November 26th, 2010 at 1:04 pm in Oakland Raiders.
Richard Seymour isn’t the only Raiders defensive tackle a little lighter in the wallet.
Tommy Kelly was fined $20,000 for unnecessary roughness, according to a league spokesman. Specifically, Kelly was penalized for hitting an opponent in the head on a special teams play.
Kelly drew an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on a Steelers extra-point attempt with 1:12 to play after Pittsburgh had scored its final touchdown to make it 35-3.
More to come . . .

They should have fined Kelly an extra 20 grand for his field condition excuse. Embarrassing to the whole franchise.

this is the most aggression we’ve seen from TK since Al Davis asked him to take a paycut!

……….
I’m looking at the fans. Their positive vibes. I think it comes down to that.

dont forget the pants issue he had last season
no fine?

I think so, too. Fan support will be key.
The Raiders HAVE to get a quick start. TDs instead of FGs. Sustain consistent pressure on whoever the Miami QB is.
Coaching has to adjust on the fly, especially on offense.

TK running his mouth and collecting fines. I have no problem with that.

Fan support is EVERYTHING. Don’t blame the coaches, players, play calling, and don’t you even think about blaming Al Davis! After all, he’s not down there on the field missing tackles. It’s all on the fans. All of it.

Kelly has been very vocal this year. His complaint about the condition of the field was laughable. In his defense, anyone see the Pitt/WV game? Field looks like sh;t.

Lol, OK, MR.
Having the fans behind a team trying to find their way is important but the caching staff really let us down last week, IMO.
I know Tommy said they just didn’t execute the gameplan, but it didn’t look like much of a gameplan to me.

yeah, in 10 games I think the only 2 RB’s that abused us were Chris Johnson & Arian Foster – who are both Top 3 RB’s in this league
ShoNasty, Houston, Seymour (DT), Henderson on the D-Line with Kelly instead of Ellis, Richardson, Warren, Seymour (DE) seems to have made a HUGE difference in run support along with bigger stronger OLB’s like Wimbley & Groves instead of Howard & Alston
Morrison/McClain = wash

Morrison/McClain = wash
But McClain’s a rookie. I think he’ll be great, lets just hope it’s at Oakland!
