Looks like it’s the `People’s Choice’
By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Saturday, November 27th, 2010 at 6:36 pm in Oakland Raiders.
Bay Area News Group writer Steve Corkran is reporting that Bruce Gradkowski will indeed be the Raiders’ starting quarterback Sunday Miami, citing three sources, two within the organization and one in Gradkowski’s camp.
Thus ends a week-long charade which started following a 35-3 loss to Pittsburgh when coach Tom Cable said with conviction that Jason Campbell would remain the starter, a notion he never refuted during the course of the week.
Profootballtalk.com wrote of “all signs” pointing to Gradkowski Friday. ESPN’s Adam Schefter and the NFL Network’s Jason LaCanfora quoted “sources familiar with the situation” Saturday as saying the Raiders planned to start Gradkowski.
Campbell even played along Friday when asked if he was concerned about being removed if he didn’t get off to a good start. Campbell did not meet with the media Wednesday, the day the Raiders’ starting quarterback speaks to the press. When reporters came to talk to Campbell on Thursday, he instead walked to a closed locker room after a short conversation with senior executive John Herrera.
Did the Raiders keep a secret as an attempt to gain a competitive advantage? It would seem to go against Cable’s often-stated rationale that “It’s not about them, it’s about us.”
Considering Miami’s ability to put pressure on the quarterback and Campbell’s struggles when facing a rush, it would seem all Cable had to do was go back to his old axiom, “We’ll do whatever gives us the best chance to win.”
A cynic would suggest offensive coordinator Hue Jackson and Cable finally got the green light to start the quarterback they preferred.
Regardless of how the decision came to be, it’s likely to light a fire under the home crowd, most of whom consider Gradkowski the people’s choice.
As for Campbell, it probably seems like a million years ago that Al Davis considered him the next Jim Plunkett. Assuming the second year added to his contract isn’t guaranteed, it’s hard to imagine bringing Campbell back at more than $4 million after he’s been benched three times (halftime of the St. Louis game, third quarter of the Pittsburgh game, and again after Cable originally said he would start against Miami) and then be asked to pretend he’s the starter.
Raiders officials could not be reached for comment.

We’ve been asking for this and now we are on the hot spot. I feel strongly about Bruce so I’m looking forward to it.
If he sucks, I will gladly admit it. But I doubt he will suck.

Cable named Campbell the starter after the loss to Pitt because of the derictive
Cable and Hue go nuts on Al insisting Bruce starts. Al folds
Post #6 spot on
Wonder how many more tickets will sell
Wonder what the stipulation was for Cable and Hue if BG (won’t happen) were to fail
November 27th, 2010 at 7:00 pm
Losing at Pittsburgh was huge but not devastating. Lose to the Dolphins and that three game win streak is nothing but a distant memory. We need some passion behind center and Bruce is all that…

Surprising move by Cable. Either the Cable man has earned some clout with Al, or someone is advising Al. Grads gives em the best opportunity to win. This move will be HUGE in the lockerroom, this coaching staff is real.

AD needs to step up or step out. We all love the guy but jeeeezzzz and effin rice.
November 27th, 2010 at 7:29 pm
Spartacus,
Agreed 100%. My take is Cable knows Al is not extending his contract and prob will give the job to Hue. Therefore Cable is going to do his own thing. That is why it was awkward to see Hue rolled out to announce to the whole world he was the one that wanted JC benched in the STL and Tenn game. Now we get Hue rolled out again this week to talk about the JC yanking with Bruce starting tomorrow. There is a guy on FB that proclaimed to have inside info since Last Monday that BG will start this week. AD is ensuring that Cable gets no credit and Hue gets the credit. I’ve been a TC supporter since day one and glad he is doing his own thing. If we end up with 9-7, someone will pick up TC again for sure.
November 27th, 2010 at 7:34 pm
At this point its all about winning. I dont care who starts at this point, they both have strengths and weaknesses. Just go out and play good football beat miami and stay alive.
November 27th, 2010 at 7:37 pm
Maybe Tom knows how to play Al. The directive was on poor display, a strike for the directive, and Tom has some grounds now for a case. Maybe TC was passing some of the load to Hue to do the announcing, or maybe it was Hue who was playing Al to abort the directive.
Maybe Al wants Bruce but couldn’t let it be known he did an about face from his directive. Such a shroud of mystery.

Glad to have found a “fellow traveller” with respect to Cable. I have liked him from Day One, too. I find Hue’s usurping of Cable’s authority very troubling, whether it’s orchestrated by Al or not.
I’ve said it before, Hue strikes me as a phony, sycophantic self-promoter. It’s one thing to call plays, it’s quite another to be a head coach. I think his act would start to wear thin on players pretty quickly.
November 27th, 2010 at 7:46 pm
Grads should have come in during the second quarter in Pittsburgh.
November 27th, 2010 at 7:50 pm
What’s with all the black QBs in this league? With the exception of Vick, they are all mediocre or worse, and have serious issues. Warren Moon, though, he was a hell of a QB.

Spartacus,
Cable has done a good job of getting rid of cancerous players and built a new attitude. It was hard to stick with him because we still didnt win consistently. I’m glad he is finally getting his dues. He is by far the best coach to work under Al’s environment. He doesnt fight Al nor kiss his a$$ either.
But what I found troubling (and seen before) is the rolling out of Hue to make proclaimation of personel moves. You dont hear this type of stuff with most other teams. The Raiders are not normal anyways. It’s not the first time the Raiders do weird things with the media and not the last. It’s right in line with them doing a presser to denouce Al Michaels after he did a story with Marcus Allen and to the press release on DHB. TC is a gonna and he is going to do things his way. Most of us would do the same thing too.

Yeah, I don’t know why Hue is rolled out to make the announcements on quarterback changes. Maybe Al just wants to embarrass Cable for reasons known only to Al.
It show a lot of character for Cable to continue doing what he feels is right. Even though he’s gotten rid of some dead wood, there may still be a few players who have not bought into the program (like whoever keeps complaining to the players’ union that mini camps are too hard).

If the Raiders make the playoffs, I’m sure Hue will get some “Rooney Rule” interviews next year. But let’s not forget that Hue was turned down by the Niners who went with Jimmy Raye as OC.
With Gruden, Cowher and maybe even Holgrem looking to get back into coaching next year, there will not be a lot of new black coaches in the NFL next year.

At least we’ll have Gus Johnson and Steve Tasker calling the game this Sunday. They’re pretty straight shooters. However, as soon as we get our first penalty, CBS will instantly put up the graphic that we are the most penalized team in the league. Last week when they did it it was riduculous as we didn’t get our first penalty until the Steelers had already committed twelve!

Cam Newton scrambles a lot, and makes some solid plays out of the pocket. I don’t see him going through his reads and getting the ball out in rhythm very often.
He’s not much of an NFL QB prospect yet. I mean, his ceiling is Vince Young. Where would you draft a guy that would take 4 seasons to turn into the Vince Young of today? 4th round?
He might end up like Brad Smith of the Jets – a talented jack-of-all-trades that gets used in punt returns, kickoff returns, end-arounds, and trick plays.
November 27th, 2010 at 8:57 pm
Too bad we can’t watch it on broadcast tv.
November 27th, 2010 at 8:58 pm
Rayduh, it’s a blog! Post first, check validity later
Davis wanted Campbell.
Coaches wanted Bruce.
Coaches relented knowing it was Pittsburgh on the road, and they knew they’d look smart allowing Campbell to start (sacrificial lamb vs NFL’s top D), while also giving the old man what he wanted.
It worked out exactly how the coaches thought, and now they have a better chance of looking smart (Miami in Oakland vs Steelers in Pittsburgh).
November 27th, 2010 at 8:58 pm
I just ran for 644 yards in one game with Bo Jackson on Tecmo Bowl. Can you young hot shots do that with Madden? I don’t think so. I’ll whoop any of your asses at Tecmo Bowl.

November 27th, 2010 at 9:06 pm
Rayduh,
They asked Cable about Miami’s starter about 5 minutes after the Steelers’ game was done. Cable wasn’t about to try and “force” Al’s hand or add salt to the wound by naming Grads the starter right away.
He played it right and the coaches get what they wanted.

November 27th, 2010 at 9:08 pm
The most likely scenario was that Cable finally pulled his head out of his ass, or Davis simply changed his mind about who he wanted to see at QB. Jim Plunkett 2.0 is now Rich Gannon 2.0

Darayduh,
Sorry took a break for the Sharks. Damn near pulled another Rob Ryan prevent defense again today.
Always post it first and I will be sure to catch it. I’m anxious to hear what you got.
I think you might be referring to Cable/JC/Miami after the pitt game. Yeah, Cable is a master of managing communication. I gotta give it to him. He effin massaged the whole thing real well. We all know Cable prefers Grad. TC didnt have a choice but start JC due to the win streak. I think TC and some of us knew that JC was going to get his a$$ handed to him. Unfortunately he couldnt do a darn thing about it since Al Davis/inner team made it known to Steve Corkran that they wanted JC to start. By announcing it during the bye week, they cornered Cable.
I exchange emails with Steve Corkran often and Steve didnt buy TC’s about face on JC after the KC game and into the Pitt game. He and I agreed that AD forced the issue. That is why JC was left in there for so long. AD told them to not pull another STL thing again.
TC did the right thing by starting JC for Pitt. Now the JC issue is done. TC can have his starter again without being reminded of JC’s 3 game win streak, which you know I thought was over hyped for JC.
November 27th, 2010 at 9:38 pm

I don’t usually post but this is BS. Grad is only starting because our o-line sucks which is supposedly the Cable guys specialty. When Pitt lost to the Patriots, they never got close to sacking Brady. They gave him time to throw.
Grad threw for what 10-15 more yards. Wow! This week – the fins don’t have a great d-line so either should be ok. Until they fix the o-line issues, it doesn’t matter who is back there.
I hope the Raiders win but I’m no Grad lover.

The reason Brady didn’t get sacked is he can read defenses, change plays, and make snap decisions on where to go with the ball.Their line is no better than ours.JC can’t do any of the above things.BTw,BG played a little over 1 qtr while JC played almost 3 full qtrs.
November 27th, 2010 at 10:18 pm
Look at it this way folks, the Jives went to the championship game last year solely running the ball to protect Sanchise. The Baltimores went to the previous championship game running the ball to protect Flaccid.
Why’n'dahell don’t the Raiders simply run all over opponents with McBush to protect their QBs?
November 27th, 2010 at 10:20 pm
Cmon lefty ,you gota admit he’s got a better line, great QB but has lots of time .
November 27th, 2010 at 10:20 pm
The X factor here is the coaches more than anything else in my opinion…
We got out coached last week on both sides of the ball. If Marshall dials up some pressure at the right times and Hue runs a creative offensive game plan, we should be just fine.
November 27th, 2010 at 10:21 pm
Peyton and Brady are both statues, BUT THEY GET RID OF THE BALL QUICKLY!
November 27th, 2010 at 10:24 pm
Maybe cause they have time to do so, lone
November 27th, 2010 at 10:24 pm
@Mac
But Brady is a statue. He doesn’t even move. There o-line is kick ass. Get rid of Satele and Carlilse and see how he does and maybe run a screen or two to slow the d-line down.
The coaching staff was just totally locked in and didn’t adjust. They are blaming him for their short comings, IMO.

Slam dunk, you nailed itl
November 27th, 2010 at 10:27 pm
If their line is so great, why do they have such a difficult time running the ball?Watch how much better the line looks without a statue behind it.We aren’t the best line but we aren’t nearly as bad as most on here think.Another reason he has more time is he can keep the defense off balance with quick throws by making quick reads. The defense can’t just pin their ears back and get after him like they can JC-he makes them pay.
November 27th, 2010 at 10:27 pm
Cambell’s delivery is slow but he needs time to look over the field and we run deep routes which take longer to develop.
November 27th, 2010 at 10:27 pm
Boy the conspiracy theorist are out in mass tonite, Gradkowski is playing because they think he can beat Miami pure and simple. In looking at film things often change it juts doesn’t happan at the QB position nearly as much as it does here.
Gradkowski probably runs the gameplan they have better than Campbell does. Or they are more comfortable with him in there vs this opponent. For whatever reason all Mr Davis is interested in is a win it is that simple. We have a chance to win the division if we can beat Miami and SD loses to the Colts. Because beating SD in SD wont be easy.
My guess is they’re not totally happy with either of these guy’s thus they are using them to best of their ability to get wins when they can. Miami’s offense is pedestrian if we can play a field position game and makle some plays we can beat them at home and we must beta them or else we might experience a 3 game losing streak at the worst time of the year.
They want to start fast get them down and make their QB play catchup. Now obviously they feel the best chance to do that is with Grads knowing that the home crowd favors him. If they play Campbell and he starts slow it wont be good. Better to play the hme favorite and get as much momentum as possible. It’s just smart coaching IMO. No conspiracy needed as long as they win he doesn’t care just win.
The problem is their are people who do care it’s not about winning as much as it is getting their guy in there.
I just want to win I’ll be there sreaming my head off for Gradkowski to get this done, we desparately need this game and then maybe just maybe we can have enough confidence to beat SD again. If we do the division is ours IMO. If we can somehow get this done we’ll all have a hulluva time for the rest of the season.
SO let me be the first to say GO GRADS!!! get her done!!!

=====================================================
The Popgun is going to get hurt again because he doesn’t know the art of sliding, throwing the ball away etc.
It doesn’t matter who plays QB here. The keys to victory are:
1. Exceptional Defense
2. Running the football
3. Limit turnovers

If Gradkowski was 60% of Brady I’d be happy as hell but he barely is lets just hope he gets something done tomorrow so we can have a good week. Gradkowski scares the hell out of me throwing the ball up for grabs.
November 27th, 2010 at 10:31 pm
You guys who put it all on the line are way off base.Every QB in the league gets pressured. The good ones make you pay,the bad ones(the JCs)get sacked, make more mistakes, and look lost.
November 27th, 2010 at 10:32 pm
wow,Bhp in the house, nice one priest, dont care who starts as long aS WE WIN.Think the D has to carry us tho.
November 27th, 2010 at 10:33 pm
Lefty ,you still need a decent o-line regardless
November 27th, 2010 at 10:35 pm
The just pass block better and the Pats are 10th in rushing. What is wrong with that?
November 27th, 2010 at 10:36 pm
Everybody keeps harping getting rid of the ball quickly it’s not all abut getting it out quickly as much as it is ACCURATELY. Quickly is good it’s great but if you’re throwing it to the other team QUICKLY who cares..
November 27th, 2010 at 10:37 pm
Priest,I never compared BG and Brady.I was comparing JC to Brady which is wrong because there is no comparison. My point was about the Oline more than the QB.What I was saying was a QB like Brady would make our line look better, just like he does his own.
November 27th, 2010 at 10:37 pm
Bhp,Grads reminds me of ,feck, forgot his name,,,got ity ,Garcia.
November 27th, 2010 at 10:39 pm
Spot on bout the o-line lefty. That was my point.
November 27th, 2010 at 10:40 pm
It’s not that simple, Lefty. Since we run longer routes, the blocking has to last longer. I don’t recall us running any short crossing routes, screens, maybe a flair once. Heck, sometimes we just need to throw it to a wideout when they are off the line 10 yards.
The play calling was just to simple. Throw it deep…
November 27th, 2010 at 10:40 pm
As long as he plays well that is all that matters, who we like better is of no consequence it’s who wins………..period
Campbell may do it ugly to some, he make sme shutter sometimes but IMO when I see Grads I don’t suddenly feel we’re going to win. I wish I did but I don’t.
November 27th, 2010 at 10:41 pm
Mac,certainly you need a competent Oline.I believe our line isn’t as bad as all of you.I believe one of the reasons our line looks so bad at times is our QBs.My opinion.
November 27th, 2010 at 10:45 pm
This game should be easier so he should look good and win. I hope he does. He does spread the ball around better but he doesn’t make me want to make a large win bet!
November 27th, 2010 at 10:45 pm
Here’s my problem with the entire situation.
The Raiders want badly to run the vertical offense….Gradkowski is mostly a WCO type QB…the Wide Receivers are vertical guys…the Raiders don’t have a possession receiver in the bunch
So this Vertical vs. WCO philosophy will continue.
Run the WCO with Gradkowski. Short drops, quick release and receviers running very precise routes.
No vertical stuff anymore
November 27th, 2010 at 10:47 pm
But Lefty did yu see the offense they were running and the defense the Steeleres were running against the Pat’s as opposed to us?
Your’re not taking a lot into consideration they blitzed us from the pening whitle and they came open on Campbell it wasn’t about him being a statute as much as it was HE HAD NO BLOCKING guys were coming freee. The Oline didn’t block well for the pass or the run we had no offense.
Brady was standing back there reading a book and just picked them apart. Sure granted he’s a ton better QB but Campbell was under siege. Plus we had several rec’s MIA. We played lousy as a team………period
November 27th, 2010 at 10:47 pm
So the Raiders will continue to pursue that big down field passer. No matter what Gradkowski does this year. Al Davis is looking for his PHilip Rivers type of QB…and he will continue bringing in the big arms until he finds his guy.
If Gradkowski wants to play…he better put up Gannon like numbers….if you are a WCO QB…you have to have a high completion percentage…50% aint cutting it….
Gradkowski has to get accurate and win games. Otherwise he will face more competition next year in camp
By the way…Jason Campbell has been a major disappointment
November 27th, 2010 at 10:49 pm
I think that the o-line is lower mid or mid pack. Stats say 30/32. JC does hold the ball too long and he takes unnecessary sacks because he does throw the ball away.
November 27th, 2010 at 10:50 pm
Good!
The Gardowski guys get to see their boy, and we can finally be done with this fan version of a QB controversy.
Fact of the matter is this team is going to go as the defense goes. Glad to have Nnamdi back, but the Scott injury hurts. I hope Goethel is as good as advertised.
November 27th, 2010 at 10:52 pm
Easy said SNB,but you gotta run with the horse you’ve got,to me it looks like we have 2 Qbs for 2 systems,o why not play both? haha.Back to the line tho,a good line makes a decent QB look good,(sanchez)a great line makes a QB a hall of famer
November 27th, 2010 at 10:53 pm
Al Davis is looking for his PHilip Rivers type of QB…and he will continue bringing in the big arms until he finds his guy.
——————————————————
First thing outta Rivers mouth each and every time is his Oline. Those vertical routes take time to run, and Walker, Satele, and Carlisle are not giving our guys that kinda time. That is why Zach Miller and the screen game will continue to be our best options.

Your right on too SnB!
He has been. I was hoping for better too but that’s why Grad is better for this suck o-line. He knew where he wanted to go so he threw it well in advance. that’s what happened on the first int. he ran out of time and threw it anyways.
November 27th, 2010 at 10:55 pm
Priest, there were many times when the line would be blocking and a backer or DB would rush and nobody would touch them. That meant someone was either uncovered or everyone had single coverage. When that happens to a Brady or Rivers or Manning or Bries,or-you get the picture-they make the defense pay by getting the ball out quickly and to the proper receiver-JC didn’t and can’t do that, therefore the line looks overwhelmed and the defense will continue to do it.It isn’t totally the QBs fault but most of the blame lies on his shoulders.

Darayduh,
Sorry took a break for the Sharks.
—————
OK so that proves there was a directive, no doubt. Now as far as rollin Hue out, perhaps setting the table to fire Tom, lets just say maybe Al knows Hue might be getting calls next season so regardless of the outcome of the game, Hue is just a fall guy knowing he’ll be gone next year and saving face for Cable. If Hue were really to excellerate this offense, he could command a higher dollar as a HC, where as we all know the big man pays minimum salaries for his coaches.
Just another twist about the bizarre ways things are ran through the comm lines, but I feel you got a pretty good handle on it already.

2) Grad is a head and shoulder fit above Campbell for this o-line system we have in place.
3) BG takes risks, but moves the chains. Anyone care to add up the 3 and outs with JC?
4) If Cable and Hue and Al felt they had a better chance of winning with JC, he’d be the starter.
5) When JC started against Pitt, we did not root for the Steelers to win. I predicted the Raiders would win big, you all know that. But those who were against JC knew we did not have a chance with him vs. the Steeler D. So they were right. He has had more starts than Grad. He should be much better, but he isn’t.

I think Hue is already locked down as the next Raiders HC. The only way for TC to come back is if we make a good run in the playoff. That is why AD continually rolls out Hue to take credit for big personnel moves and undermine TC. u assume that grads will just guide us to victory. im not convinced hes much better than jc. im sayin MUCH better not a little. grads needs to be much better for us to play well. he has left a ton of points on the field himself. i want him to stay the starter so we can end all of this for good. personally id like to see both of them outta here next year. grads is the most overrated and appreciated qb ive ever seen. dude is average at best if that. we need to just start all over again at qb next year. this has divided the fan base and has accomplished nothing for the future. they both stink.

this is where I get irritated with myths about Jason C and BG in terms of turnovers.
1. Before BG got hurt, I ran the numbers and BG had a lower int/fumb per qtr than JC did.
2. JC is the only guy on our roster that has thrown 2 pick 6’s (one of them bailed out by a weak ref call). The only time BG has thrown more than 1 int as a Raider QB is due to the bumble by Murphy on a pass that hit him in the chest in the Houston game.
3. JC leads the league in int/fumb per pass attempts right now. So let’s stop discussing about turnovers on BG. We improve in that area with BG in there vs JC. Those are FACTS!

November 27th, 2010 at 11:26 pm
Lefty,
The biggest problem with the Raider offense is that they try to run the WCO (see zone blocking, Gradkowski WCO QB, hiring WCO coaches) and then want to run a vertical offense with stretch receivers with more speed than route running…..power blocking in the O-LIne.
HOw about this team make a decision on what offense it want to run and then bring in the QBs, WRs and OLs that match the system….
No more WCO QBs to run a vertical offense or vice versa…Power Blocking or Zone Blocking but not both….possession receivers that are precise route guys or speed guys that stretch the field.
Make a decision! Can’t keep switching from Gruden (WCO) to Turner/Shell (Vertical) and then back to Kiffin/Cable (WCO) and now Cable/Jackson (hybrid)
Make a decision!
November 27th, 2010 at 11:27 pm
You do realize that screens were called for in the Pitt game for JC right?
One of them resulted in an int and the other one JC threw it into the ground 5 feet away from Ford.
November 27th, 2010 at 11:28 pm
AIG-I think your read on TC is totally off.Don’t you think Davis sees the way Cable has improved things in the organization?I believe the reason Jackson addresses the press at times is to show a united front-to show that he and Cable are on the same page.Sometimes people try and see too much into things that happen.

It has been made clear of several occasions that Hue is 100% responsible for the offense, including personell.
I don’t see the big deal about the media asking Hue about the QB change. Especially since he’s been commenting on the QB situation since the last change to Gardowski.

Hue has DOUBLED the output of this offense from last year to now. We were averaging some awful number of points last year (I think around 13) and this year we’re in the 20s. The yards we put up per game has also gone up by about 100.
Hue has unlocked McFadden’s potential with the running game and as a receiver. Hue has a team with no QB and no WRs playing .500 ball. Look at how bad the Panthers, Bills (first 6 weeks), Dolphins, and Seahawks have looked on O in similar situations.
Hue hasn’t been perfect, and he won’t be getting an actual HC job in the next two years, but he’s proven to be able to do what good coaches do – improve a unit.

Daraduh,
I think Hue is already locked down as the next Raiders HC. The only way for TC to come back is if we make a good run in the playoff. That is why AD continually rolls out Hue to take credit for big personnel moves and undermine TC. I can’t think of another nfl team in this league that rolls out the OC to undermine the HC’s authority. I love my Raiders but I am fully aware that we are a different kinda of team.
—————-
I’m sure your right. Well now starting tomorrow we got our chance to make that run.
November 27th, 2010 at 11:33 pm
Why are you the only one talking about JC?
November 27th, 2010 at 11:34 pm
Lefty,
I hope I am way off and way wrong on the TC read. Personally, I feel like I’ve had a pretty decent read on AD and the Raiders this year. I have been a TC supporter since day 1 and even through the rough times last year. We’re starting to see the fruits of his labor and Al Davis too of course. But AD has never publicly supported TC. Hue was an AD hire. I hope I am wrong and TC stays.
November 27th, 2010 at 11:34 pm
Armond-yes,I am assuming we will win tomorrow.I know we should win and we should win no matter which of these guys is our QB.I believe we are the better team.I was just saying what is going to happen when we win.I could have said if we win tomorrow, but I am trying to stay as positive as possible.
November 27th, 2010 at 11:35 pm
Armond I couldn’t agree more this guy gets more credit for doing next to nothing than any QB I’ve ever seen. I wish he were as good as they say he is so this crap can be over. If I never talk about these two bums again it’ll be to soon.
What make sme more upet is the coaches don’t really seem to knwo who they want. If they really think he’s the guy why are we wasting time with Campbell? he shpould be the backup permenantly not this week and the starter next week. It’s crazy IMO it’s why we’re struggling offensively I know Grads was hurt but nce he was healthy they should’ve started him agains Pitt instead of Campbell wether anyne agreed or not. Your starter is your starter…………….period
This back and forth is hurting the teams performance IMO I put that on the coaches. Grads should’ve started vs Pitt instead of this crap maybe we win that game.

Alex-why do some of you get so defensive about so many comments.I never said Jackson hasn’t a decent job,but to think he’ll be hired as an HC somewhere for what he has done for 1 year is pretty presumptuous. Also,to give him credit for McFadden is stretching it a bit.The guy is finally healthy, that is why he is producing.
November 27th, 2010 at 11:43 pm
hmmm…wonder why Bruce gets so much love….
1. We had trouble scoring and winning games last year. The guy only came in and won 2 games last year with 1 of them in Pitt.
2. JC looked completely lost through 6 qtrs this year and the guy came in and got balls delivered to everyone.
3. Our spec team, D, and Oline were a mess earlier this year, and Bruce still avg 6 points per qtr/24 per game during his stint. I dont remember our D or spec team scoring any of those points during his 2.5 games earlier this year. I do remember our D getting shredded by Houston and our spec team spotting 7 points to Arizona while missing 3 FGs.
4. His worst game as a Raider starter is a 17 points loss to Dallas last year. We were 10 points down coming into the 4th qtr. It wasnt like these other spectacular blowouts under the leadership of JR and JC.
So yeah, I wonder why the MAJORITY of the fans prefer Bruce over JaPuke.
November 27th, 2010 at 11:43 pm

November 27th, 2010 at 11:48 pm
LB, again, look up how many times Brady, Manning, Brees, the best quarterbacks in the league, have had to rely on their kicker. Then consider how many Davis scholarships Bruce is stuck babysitting (the kicker included). Bruce won that game for us, Jano choked. That is common knowledge.

Even Romanowski knows Jano choked. He said during the bye that it will haunt the Raiders all year. The Raiders will probably wind up one game out of the playoffs when it’s said and done. We know which game that was, don’t we?
November 27th, 2010 at 11:50 pm
lefty i assume we will win also. i guess i shouldve said that u assume we will win becuz grads will play well. i havent been 2 impressed with him. my biggest problem is he looks like he will have a big game and then he doesnt. his numbers never look as good as it seems it should. there are times when he doesnt connect on td passes that are wide open. he is 2 erratic 2 be taken seriously. i look at the scoreboard and i dont see a ton of points.people get on jc but grads doesnt throw 3 or 4 tds either. he doesnt outplay the opposing qb considerably either. he makes it look better cuz its faster but its not by much.

Stop the BS already. Even if he goes out and delivers another 300 yds performance with 3 4th QTR come back TD’s you’d still bag on him. I can smell the BS coming from you a mile away.
He went out and proved that you can win or compete with the same exact lineup that your Boy Black Moses aka the Jawalrus. Yet you still hated on him all offseason. He doesnt fit your prototype big arm qB and I know there are a small group of Raider fans that will never give him respect even if he somehow carries the team on his shoulder to the SB.

——————————————————
It’s not his fault we lost the Az game, but it’s a prime example of where he needs to get better. Forced the ball to DHB on a couple of short goal to go situations. Well maybe he didn’t force it since it hit DHB in the hands both times, lol. But to trust him to make a play in that situation on more than one occasion are bad decisions, IMO.
That delay of game penalty of the half yard line was HUGE!
And he actually was better the following week against Houston. Got the ball to Miller and Dmac a lot, and stop forcing the ball to the WRs.

You know what I think is funny, this entire Grad vs Campbell hasn’t been referred to as a QB controversy. And reading through the post and tone of everything about it, it doesn’t really bother us fans. Its become the norm. And, I think that has to do with the fact that we know neither one of our QB’s are “it.” Bruce because he’s injury prone, and JC because he just lacks that self-motivation and essential accuracy (likely due to letting the pressure, emotional and physical aspects of the game get to him). We don’t expect to go to the Super Bowl, although we wouldn’t mind, but we do look forward to simply winning our division, something our much improved team of past due to consistency in head coaching is perfectly capable of doing.

My point is valid, dude. If we scored one more TD, a field goal wouldn’t have been needed. I never said that Jani didn’t blow field goals that day. The reason we were kicking them was because we didn’t score TDs. Grad was the starting QB that day though.

November 28th, 2010 at 12:23 am
Armond,
If 24 points per game is not enough for a QB, then I am not going to get into a debate with you on that. You have your opinion and I have mine. Romo had a probowl season last year with 4 guys on the offense making the probowl as well. His team avg 23 points per game. So I’ll take 24 pts per game any day from Bruce given the lack of quality at the WR position.
1. I think we can all agree that BG has yet to prove he is a bonafide QB in this league.
2. I think you can admit that BG is the best QB on our CURRENT roster. Even you stated earlier you got frustrated watching JC live at the game a few weeks back.
So do you want to go into the game with the best qb on your roster or not?
BTW, I have no frickin clue what you are talking about in terms of BG missing TD throws. The only QB on our roster that has missed obvious TD throws is JC with the 2 fleaflickers and 1 long bomb to Murphy against the Niners.

My point is valid, dude.
…………….
No, it’s not, dude. Ever heard of Adam Vinitari? Super Bowl 36? Many important games have come down to the kicker. It’s part of the game. A QB’s job is to get the offense in a position to win the game, not necessarily to score a TD. If you’re down by less than 3, and you get into field goal range, you’re better off kicking if you’re in solid position, which we were. It’s higher percentage. You have a better chance of kicking a 20 yard field goal than you do of scoring from the 13 yard line. You risk interceptions. It’s higher risk to try to score. If you can get into FG range and you’re within 3, you do that. And that’s what Gradkowski did. It’s called high percentage offense. It’s called winning. And the game was in the bag until Al’s scholarship kicker muffed the chip shot. Learn something about football, please. For your own good.

aig i have mentioned awhile back that bg starting over jc didnt bother me 1 bit. as for the td misses u are wrong. miller was open twice in the endzone against arizona and bg missed him. cable mentioned that after the game. he also had murhpy streaking down the sideline open about 5 yards and bg oberthrew him by 15. he had heybey open on a post in the 1rst qtr and underthrew it allowing the db to break it up. he had heybey open in the endzone against houston and underthrew him allowing the db in the play.its silly to say that jc is the only 1 missing tds. they both have. now u are being a homer. i also wouldnt compare him to romo cuz it aint even close. we do agree about him being better than jc. i have never had a problem with that.

I think we have a better chance to beat the Jags on that road trip if we play well they don’t stop the run and are average rushing the QB. If our defense travels better I think we win. THe only game left that really scares me is the SD game. And that’s why this game is sooo important we have to win this game or a 3 game losing streak is looming. I even think we may have a chance in SD but we have to play the best game of the year to win.
We simply cannot keep up the QB carousel if it’s Gradkowski he has to stay the starter………..period no more Campbell appearances unless of course injury. But even if Grads struggle sthey have to stay with him and let him play through it. You cannot play mind games with your starter taht is suicide. Let him have the rest of the year and see if he has it or not.
Because even if we draft a kid we need someone to play for at least a year IMO. Gradkowski would be perfect if he can stay healthy and play well. he can buy us some valuable time.
I’ll tell you after looking at Keapernick I really like that kid he has a lot of fight in him and he’s got a good arm with some accuracy and man is he competitive.

How good is Cam Newton? Is he just another system college QB except with a strong arm and good athleticism?
—
Before getting excited about another big SEC QB who has a big arm and has all the physical skill sets, remember there was another guy who fit that bill. His name? Jamarcus Russell out of LSU.
November 28th, 2010 at 12:53 am
jhill also brings up his fugg up at the goaline. he shouldve called a to. guys were telling him that the playclock was winding down but he wasnt having it. he even admitted that he really wanted to sneak it in. if campbell goofed up like that yall would call him stupid. his lil man complex hurts as much as it helps. he hears all the bs bruuce chants and feels he can do no wrong. thats why he is so cocky about being the starter again cuz he has the coach in his hip pocket, the same way russell had the owner in his. well if he doesnt play at a high level then it will end bad for him like russell. cable better watch it 2 cuz unlike the owner he can get fired for it.
November 28th, 2010 at 12:55 am
Bhp,,what about it,draft or go FA route, both QBs are backups imo, whats your prefence
November 28th, 2010 at 12:55 am
love kaepernick. wouldnt be surpried if we drafted him. hell i hope we do.
November 28th, 2010 at 12:56 am
Armond
You cannot have a decent convo with AIG when it comes to these two QB’s man he gets irrational. Neither guy has lit it up they both leave a lot to be desired.
November 28th, 2010 at 12:56 am
When you get off Grads nads, I will.
November 28th, 2010 at 12:57 am
I’m all for Kaepernick as well. He wouldnt be a bad pick in the later rounds and see if he can develop.
November 28th, 2010 at 1:00 am
Priest,I totally agree,we cannot keep playing revolving QBs.That is why i believe we should stick with BG to see if he can be the guy until we get our future-unless he shows to be even more dreadful than JC.If he pans out we could draft someone,if he doesn’t its the open market again.Hopefully he will be capable of handling things so we can draft someone. There are 4 guys I like-Keapernick,Koles,Devlin,and Enderlie. When Seymour mentioned Devlin the other day I read up on him and really like what I read.
November 28th, 2010 at 1:02 am
THE ANSWER TO ALL OF OUR PROBLEMS IS DRAFT ANDREW LUCK FROM STANFORD AND BRING HIS COACH WITH HIM. LOL. (WISHFUL THINKING)
November 28th, 2010 at 1:02 am
so alternate guys ,,,,,cmon bhp, whats the thinking.?
November 28th, 2010 at 1:04 am
socal,,if only,,lol
November 28th, 2010 at 1:05 am
what are you talking about?
November 28th, 2010 at 1:07 am
We should trade away our 2012 1st round pick to Buffalo so we can draft Luck. He reminds me a bit of Rich Gannon. He gets in your face, very athletic, but most importantly a student of the game. He comes from freakin Stanford so hes no dummy
November 28th, 2010 at 1:07 am
Man, I forgot about that dumb skit. Yeah, he didn’t do anything to lose that game cause Jano should have made the last field goal per Real.
November 28th, 2010 at 1:08 am
Same thing twat,,the QB situation we got,,if this (for the third time)aint clear enough then get a bigger tv,draft or go the FA route.
November 28th, 2010 at 1:08 am
Campbell thinks being the 29th rated passer in the league is “pretty good”.
Newsflash: It’s not!

November 28th, 2010 at 1:12 am
Bruce sees the field better than Campbell, gets rid of the ball quicker, and is a leader on th field. If healthy, Grads should be our guy this year. The energy is just beyyer on offense period when the guy is on the field. JC is too inconsistent.
November 28th, 2010 at 1:15 am
EVerynody think positive please no side taking in here we need this wiiinnnn and if you’re going to the game give it everything you’ve got pleeaassee.

Jazz 102
Lakers 96
Deron Williams had 29 points and 12 assists and the Jazz scored the game’s final 11 points to hand the Lakers just their third loss of the season. Al Jefferson, acquired to help Utah match-up better against Los Angeles, had 20 points and eight rebounds.
The Jazz beat the Lakers on the boards in Friday’s game, holding a slight 42-38 edge. Utah, before Wednesday’s win over the Hornets, had been outrebounded in six straight games.
There was no bigger turning point than the game’s final 2:32 when the Jazz outscored the Lakers 11-0. Los Angeles missed its last five shots, while Williams hit a 3-pointer and assisted on baskets by Paul Millsap and Raja Bell to help Utah pull away.
Lakers newcomer Steve Blake had a terrible shooting night. He shot 0-for-7, scoring no points. He also fouled Williams on a shot attempt with 4.1 seconds left in the third quarter. Williams then made both free throws, stretching Utah’s lead to 75-72 going into the final period. Derek Fisher also struggled, shooting 1-for-7 with four points.
the Jazz held the Lakers to 19 percent shooting in the second quarter. The Jazz went on an 11-0 run before halftime, and made up the entire 19-point deficit before the break.
Earl Watson scored a season-high eight points — with all of them coming in the second quarter. Williams recorded his ninth double-double of the season

November 28th, 2010 at 2:08 am
The decision to start Grads is huge for the Raider organization.
This move reaffirms my faith in Al Davis.
I think all those surmising that Cable’s future with the Raids is tenuous because of the decision to go with Grads are dead wrong.
I believe both Cable and Hue Jax came to the conclusion that JaJason is an utter stiff, and has no future with this team, a long time ago. There’s no way they couldn’t come to that conclusion after watching JaJason’s play in the pre-season, vs. Tenn, the Rams, the Niners, KC and Pitt. JaJason is horrendous. He’s terrible. The worst starting QB in the NFL.
Mr. Davis will stick with players he likes and be loyal to them almost to a fault. But once he gives up on them — they’re as good as gone.
Al’s personal pride was on the line with this decision. We all know about him stating he thinks JaJason could be the next Plunk.
Has Davis completely given up on JaJason ? I wouldn’t go so far as to say that, but there’s little doubt that JaJason has one foot on a banana peel and the other out the door.
I’d be very surprised if JaJason was on the squad in 2011. The only way that happens is if Grads gets hurt and JaJason plays well in relief. Not likely.
Al, thank you for restoring my hope in your ability to admit a mistake and move on.
This decision is the biggest and the best one since you dumped JaMoron.
I believe that Grads can be the long term answer at QB. That’s not a widely held belief. Whether Grads can emerge as a quality NFL QB is certainly debatable. What’s not debatable is that JaJason is a complete turd. There is absolutely no point in continuing to go with JaJason and not finding out definitively what Grads can do.
It’s that simple.
Al Davis, Tom Cable and Hue Jackson are absolutely making the best decision possible for the future of the Raiders this season and beyond by sitting JaJason and finding out what BG can do.
November 28th, 2010 at 2:26 am
Well out of the 2 I prefer Bruce. But I don’t feel comfortable with any of them.
November 28th, 2010 at 5:36 am
JaJason?
more like JaRaiderman99 …
the ceiling for Bruce is about what JCamp gives us already. we need a legit QB, because there isn’t one on the current roster
if we roll into the 2011 Regular Season with Grads, Boller & Frye at QB, Al Davis obviously doesn’t care about winning!
November 28th, 2010 at 6:32 am
Good Morning Nation!
Well it looks like we’re back to Grads for this one today! Wonder what the about face was all about but maybe they’re just wanting to get off to a fast start against that fin d. Well whom ever gives us a best chance I’m ready!
I think our d will be the key today so let’s
CUT IT LOOSE!!!!!!

Priesttj Says:
You cannot have a decent convo with AIG
————————
Nothing more to say after those words, Priest. Aig is a classless TOOL. Look at comment #1 on the previous blog entry. He wanted Jason to fail to prove his point, and by extension, that means he wanted the Raiders to fail while Jason was on the field. Only a TOOL wishes that upon his team.
Those of us who wanted Jason to play better are still able to get behind Gradkowski. We don’t want Bruce – and the Raiders – to fail just to prove a point. We want the Raiders to play well and win no matter who is on the field.
But TOOLS are called TOOLS for a reason.
November 28th, 2010 at 6:53 am
Good morning all on this very snowy Sunday.
November 28th, 2010 at 6:55 am
Just to make a small point ’bout the QB debate. If we had a decent O-line and set of WR’s either Qb would look the real deal.
November 28th, 2010 at 6:55 am
RR said “if we roll into the 2011 Regular Season with Grads, Boller & Frye at QB, Al Davis obviously doesn’t care about winning!”
Al does indeed care about winning.
Theres not enough good QB.s to go around for the 32 teams. Without looking at rosters I would say 16 teams suck at QB. and I bet 6 of the remaining 16 teams would love to upgrade.
That leaves only ten teams that are happy with their QB and some of those are getting old.
Bpottom line is no matter how much you want to win, you need a top ten QB. You cant just wake up and say I want one and poof, there it is.
Nobody gives up great QB’s
I understand why College does not groom many great QB’s. It is the hardest position on the field.
What I do not get is why the hell cant they produce at enough great kickers and punters for the thirty two teams.
November 28th, 2010 at 6:57 am
Hopefully this is the last of Jamarcus Campbell.
I only want to see his open mouthed, stupid, 1000 yard stare, if he is holding a clipboard on the sideline.
BRUUUUUUUCE!
November 28th, 2010 at 6:59 am
Who do the queefs play today?
November 28th, 2010 at 7:00 am
Often wondered why people become kickers and punters. Are they crap at everything else? You don’t grow up wishing to be the kicker/punter of whatever team.

I don’t know about “real deal”, but a good O-line can make any QB better. As awful as the line was last week, though, you have to go with the more mobile guy against a Miami team that is #9 in the NFL in sacks.
Hopefully Bruce doesn’t take too many hits.
November 28th, 2010 at 7:03 am

Well, if you have aspirations to be in the NFL and don’t like getting tackled, it makes perfect sense. League minimum is $325,000. I would kick the ball a few times per week for that coin. How many of you make that much doing what you do?
November 28th, 2010 at 7:07 am
Yeah, maybe real deal was a bit strong but you get the gist.
Always thought you countered a good D by QB roll out, screen passes, shotgun and short passes in the flat.
But a mobile QB will help as well!
November 28th, 2010 at 7:08 am
Man a win today would make everything great again!
It’s amazing how every week a win or a loss completely changes the complexion of the season. Especially at this time of the year!
November 28th, 2010 at 7:12 am
Think we can win 3 of the next 5.Then it’ll be down to the chefs game.
November 28th, 2010 at 7:17 am
Somebody here said we might have to go 6-0 in the division to make the playoffs and while that might be true; that will be very hard to do….
I guess we might could drop the bronco game but we must beat kc and sd to get there.
I say beat em all just to be sure!!
GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think indy is beatable in the black hole.
We haven’t played indy in a while but i seem to remember going into indy a couple years in a row and beating manning.
We can beat anyone if we play well
November 28th, 2010 at 7:25 am
People on here seem way too confidant that this will be an easy game, no matter who the QB is.
The Dolphins QB situation is in disarray, but even with it they only lost by 1 point and should have beaten the same Steelers team we were outclassed by, a month ago.
I think they are going to give us everything we can handle, and this game will be a one position game.
November 28th, 2010 at 7:35 am
Don’t forget they’re also playing with a little element of desperation too. But that being said I think the RAIDERS will be playing with a little desperation too and I’m looking for us to bounce back with a great effort.
This is a game we must and should win
RAIDERS 24 dolphins 10
November 28th, 2010 at 7:35 am
We gotta take one game at a time.
November 28th, 2010 at 7:39 am
It doesn’t look like Miami have any kind of offence. If we can score early and get a decent lead then this one’s in the bag.
November 28th, 2010 at 7:39 am
Bruce should fire em up today that is something i haven’t seen on the offense lately.

What are your thoughts
November 28th, 2010 at 7:59 am
Neil
I think all our games are tough. Colts are struggling. No running game, They are almost out of WRs and the defense is down as well.
Peyton is upset which he has never seemed to be before.
Contract year, going to play somewhere else, etc may be weighing on him.
They might even be out of the playoffs by the time they travel cross country to play a Cold (hopefully) game. But if they still have playoff hopes, we can be extra fired up.
Yes I think it is easier to beat the colts then maybe every game left
November 28th, 2010 at 8:01 am
I think when you watch these guys kick and punt live, you realize just how ridiculous these guys are nailing the ball.
You sit on Mt. Davis and Shane damn near kicks the ball up to you, lol.
You would think there would be more, but Shane was a HS start QB. He was literally the best player on his HS team, and yet here he is a few years later, relegated to only a punter.
Makes you realize just how elite these athletes are in the NFL.

Peyton’s upset?………just how much money does he need?
November 28th, 2010 at 8:12 am
We have to make Miami one-dimensional today on offense. They are struggling to throw the ball obviously, and no Marshall should only increase those struggles.
But if they can successfully run the ball, they can work in some play-action, get the TE involved and really grind out the clock.
We can not let them sustain long drives and pick up those 3rd and 5’s they will put themselves in all game.

Raiding Texas,
If you’re gonna put a lable on me at least do it right. YOU DAMN RIGHT I HATED JASON CAMPBELL. He was, is and will always be a fraud NFL QB. BTW, I didnt have to root for him to fail. I KNEW HE WAS GOING TO FAIL. When you knew the result ahead of time, you dont need to root for it. It’s like fixing an election. Get it? Have I made myself clear?
Someone is bitter his boy wonder got his a$$ benched today.
November 28th, 2010 at 8:30 am
JustFB, Neilb,
easiest way for the Raiders to make the SeaMammals one dimensional on offense is for the Raider offense TO SCORE SOME F_ING POINTS!

Win the turnover battle and ST battle and we should be good.
Just don’t want to underestimate the ‘Fins.
Well coached team, that is physical, plays down-hill and has a pretty good D.
Those are the type of teams we have struggled with the last few years.
November 28th, 2010 at 8:39 am
AIG, I think the “Alamo” analogy works best.
You root for Davey Crockett, but you just know defending the Alamo itself is gonna fail…
Just cuz you know it will fail, doesn’t mean you hate Crockett, Travis, Bowie, etc.
November 28th, 2010 at 8:41 am
We struggled against KC because of our idiotic QB. We should have never struggled in that one. If Bruce plays like the Bruce we have seen and know, then we will be ok. It will be decided by 7 points in our favor.
November 28th, 2010 at 8:43 am
Crockett, Travis, Bowie…those guys had balls to stand there and did their thing.
Sorry but JaPuke aint those guys. If Crocket played football, I doubt he would have slid before the first down marker.
November 28th, 2010 at 8:45 am
Cambell is a classic “Lawn Chair” Quarterback.
He sits back their is is lawn chair, sipping a drink with a parasol, applying sun block to his nose…
He is made for the Rest Home Offense, cuz dude is on vacation when he drops back to pass.

AIG-if Crockett were in the NFL he’d be the only starting QB to sack the opposing team’s QB.
He once stole his opponents political speech and delivered it as his own. Classic.
Just backing up your notion that “knowing something is doomed to fail” doesn’t mean you have abandoned the team.
November 28th, 2010 at 8:50 am
NOW we got a game!
When Bruce came in last week he initially went five for five and drove ‘em downfield-until the interception.
Regardless of the interception Bruce moved the team where Campbell didn’t.
I’m a lot more optimistic about winning than I was two days ago.
Raiders 28-17!
Make some NOISE at that game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
November 28th, 2010 at 8:52 am
Aig, I never put a “lable” on you. I don’t even know what a “lable” is. You’re probably too much of a TOOL to even figure that one out.
Unlike you, I don’t get emotionally attached to players. I want the Raiders to win. I don’t invest myself into individual successes and failures of specific players. I just want the players on the field to do what it takes to win.
If you’re going to make accusations, be prepared to back them up: WHERE … WHERE … WHERE DID I EVER SAY ON THIS SITE THAT JASON CAMPBELL IS A BOY WONDER??? WHERE DID I EVER SAY HE WAS EVEN A GOOD QUARTERBACK???
You’re not going to be able to back up your idiotic TOOL comments because you can’t. I have never, ever said anything even remotely close to that about Jason. In fact, nobody on here says that about Jason. You make unfounded assertions because you like to argue.
TOOL.
November 28th, 2010 at 9:10 am
What the eff is wrong with all of you Bruce supporters. Look, I love the guys work ethic and enthusiasm. I enjoy watching him keep plays alive with his feet but this guy is not an NFL starting caliber QB. I am not much of a stats guy but the stats really tell the tale between these two. Bruce has more INTs than TDs, has a 53% completion rating (Ok for college level but never good enough for the pros unless your Mike Vick or Vince Young), and he has a 66% QB rating. That’s not just this year but OVER HIS ENTIRE CAREER. Whereas Jason Campbell has an 82% QB rating and 60% compeletion rating and quite a few more TDs than INTs. This year is no different.
Is Jason Campbell a stud? No. But at least he is a pro caliber QB who if blocked for and given a run game can make this an explosive offense. How many times did Bruce lead 500+ yard offensive explosions? None.
When you have a new QB and a new OC working together for the first time with all new offensive personnel to both you have to realize it’s going to be a bumpy road. How good can Campbell be, I won’t pretend to know, but we will never find out if we keep sitting him to put in a journeyman level QB. Patience Raider Nation, patience.
November 28th, 2010 at 9:50 am
Big deal, Bruce is starting.
Meanwhile, neither QB was responsible for giving up 35 points. You trying to tell me a “run-oriented” team is supposed survive off of barely 60 yards rushing in Pitt?? The only consistent thing the current WR core does is fail to get open. Neither QB was responsible for a porous blocking effort that gave up 6 sacks.
Who cares who starts at QB. This team still has problems that scream “not ready for the playoffs”.
November 28th, 2010 at 11:18 am
I’ve watched every game this year from start to 0:00 on the clock. I didn’t even want to bother watching this one until I found out Bruce was starting.
