Al has always downplayed percentage football. However, this philosophy is hurting the team. Al knows the league has changed and he can’t stand it. He’d rather be a maverick and lose, than to be a “conformist” and win.

There are definitly stronger candidates out there. but would anybody truly covet the position?

Im of the opinion that any candidate that would be an essentially unanimous upgrade (Jim Harbaugh for example)is not going to want to work under Al and inherit a team with so many glaring holes

Im in the belief that Hue can do a good job taking over this team. He has a little bit of Gruden in him. He gets after the players but the players also really like him. I like his intensity and maybe thats what this team needs. Not to mention he has done an honrable job with the offense this season. And he breaks it down for AL like Gruden use to do.

Why would I be threatened by Jacoby being better than Heyward-Bey? You ARE an idiot for even coming up with that notion at all. Especially since you will NEVER produce ONE SINGLE post showing me defending DHB in any way shape or form. JACOBY FORD IS THE BEST WIDE RECEIVER ON THE 2010 OAKLAND RAIDER ROSTER. He STILL has a problem with drops (like many rookies do) and still doesnt have the prototypical size to be a #1 in the NFL. Quit being an a$$ hole and trying to make it sound like I dont like the kid.

Mistic, why are you calling the Raiders “Cable’s team”, when Al Davis said just a few months ago that he is “heavily involved”? How can it be Cable’s team when the owner has clearly said he plays an active role in football related decisions? What do you mean by “Cable’s team”?
