    Donavan McNabb 58% 14 TD 15 INT 77.7 rating 7.2 yrd avg

    Jason Campbell 57% 10 TD 6 INT 84.4 rating 7.5 yrd avg

Jason Campbell is the better QB

    ———————–

seriously ur kidding right. Mcnabb has thrown 1600 more yds then campbell this yr. And double the passing attempts Campbell has. If Campbell had as many passing attempts as mcnabb has had. His completion % would be off the charts bad ecspecially with are recievers and his bad reads, and his slugish movement in the pocket, and bad decision making. Boils down to we still need a qb for next yr.

Now we are focusing on why we have a top 10 defense, a top 3 RB and have a losing record with a cupcake schedule.

Some say coaching, some say youth, some say QB, some say DHB. Many reasons are contributing, but we need a talented QB to come here who knows how to win and can lead.

    ——————————————————-

We have a losing record because we went with 5 safeties this past weekend.

And because our defense didn’t show up against Miami.

I don’t worship Jeezus so I don’t know what that would be like.

But if Bruce would have started every game this year, with McFadden and Jacoby playing like this, and we were 6-7 still……….I would have bailed on him as well.
    ————————————
No you wouldn’t. You’d subtlety blamed every black man in the NFL first, for his record.

    Kool,

Nobody wants him to “whine”. Fck that’s kind of what he did.

How about step up and act like you give a $hit? Jerry said he acted like he lost his last friend, and just sunk his shoulders.
    ——————————–
Like what, rant in the media? You’d have been all over him.

  • Just Fire Baby

I would rather have Jason Campbell over Carson Palmer, and most of the other FA slugs out there.

But we need to bring in more competition at the position, and not tell him he is the starter 20 minutes after acquiring him, praising him as the next two time SB winner before he plays, and annoint him the starter even though he wasn’t all that good and got hurt in the preseason.

Well of course, because Shanahan isn’t stupid enough to bench him for a noodle-armed Rudy-Flutie QB for 4+ games.

    Kool,

I trust and like Jerry McDonald.

If he says that his actions after being benched were pretty alarming, I am going with him.

I don’t know what he could have or should have done, because you know I just sell things and work for myself. I’m not in charge of inspiring 53 grown men.

Jason Campbell is, and has failed at doing so, according to his previous employer and his current beat reporter.

The last 8-8 QB we’ve has was Rich Gannon.

Well let’s hope he ends the season that way.

Well, Grossman did get to a Super Bowl. LOL

JFB, if said quarterback finishes his campaign with only one or no wins in the season’s final quarter, then your vigor will prove just.

  • Just Fire Baby

Starting Grossman for the Skins would be moronic.

Didn’t McNabb throw up a 100+ QB rating last week, and get screwed out of a W because of two missed FG’s and an extra point?

    Shanahan is a stooge.

  • RaidingTexas

Well, if the defense and ST plays like it did Sunday, it won’t matter how good or bad Jason plays and how vigorous you get about it. A 1-2 finish will be the best we could hope for.

    Good night, Nation!

  • RaidingTexas

Apology accepted, man! Sorry if I came off harsh about it. Just getting tired of this Jason bashing stuff. We have no alternative at the moment, so I can only hope he plays well down the stretch and give us a glimmer of hope.

    Later!

I bet every person on this board was in love with owski after the steeler game last yr. Sure everyone wanted him to be are starting qb this yr. Thought he was awesome. Pretty sure also haven’t looked at the stats though that the games owski started are running game wasn’t as good as it has been when Campbell started. If we could mix the two qb’s strengths into one qb. We would have something here. Campbells arm strenght with owski’s toughness and fire. If Campbell is in shotgun I feel safe. But when he’s under center and says hike then takes three steps back I can’t watch. I know owski has a noodle arm and is injury prone. Look we just need a better qb to run this team. Good qb’s make most recievers look good. Good qb and one good reciever and are O will be unstopable.

  • RaiderDebo

Not all of this isn’t Campbell’s fault obviously. But as Bill Parcells always said, you are what your record is.

Jason Campbell’s career winning % is under 40% and this past weekend he was at his worst with the game near it’s end.

    That’s his MO.
    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

    What is Scabkowski’s MO???

  • Just Fire Baby

    What is Scabkowski’s MO???

    *****************************

That he gets hurt. And wholy bat crap it happened didn’t it?

With JC his is playing up/down to his opponents, compiling above-average stats in a loss, and playing meaningless football games in week 16 and 17.

And that will happen again won’t it as well?

BTW, what’s Jamarcus’ MO since we are on the subject? Getting arrested for having a flop house of drug-addicts, playing historically awful football, and being beat out by Patrick Ramsey in mid-season camp invitiations?

  • lefty12

Who gives a rats a$$ about Gradkowski. He is done for the year and quite possibly forever from our team.It gets pretty tiring when anyone mentions J.Campbell’s deficiencies all some people do is bring up Gradkowski.
I agree with KK that all that matters is what his record is as our QB.What he did in the past doesn’t matter. However,to also say he is the reason we have a winning record in his starts is stretching it.Take away McFadden’s 3 long TD runs(I know,1 was a screen pass) and JC only lead us to 10 points last game.Anyone saying he is the answer to our QB position for the long term,IMO,needs to rethink things. We all should want an upgrade if one is available.

This is complete bullschitt!! You should try looking at the stats. The running game was damn good against AZ and Houston. We got every break imaginable against AZ and were still in a position to have to make a comeback on the final drive. Say what you want about JC, at least he offers us something. Scabkowski has absolutely nothing to offer this team. In fact, he blows up the “fire” and “leadership” myths. If those things are so important, why did we lose every game he started this year???? Make it good.

  • Just Fire Baby

    ********************************

That’s the key, “if one is available”.

Average QB’s are always available, sometimes even for a measely 4th round pick.

But better-than-average to great QB’s are almost impossible to find.

So we just got to hope the whole team improves, Jason conintues to do so as well, and he spends the offseason with Tony Robbins.

  • lefty12

Because our Kicker missed 3 FGs-two of which are considered chip shots.

    ***************************

Houston and AZ rushing totals were well below the season’s average, and I am not sure how getting every break imaginable includes getting housed on the opening kickoff and having your FG kicker have his worst day as a pro.

That he gets hurt??? That’s all you have to say?? We get this elaborate synopsis of JC’s shortcomings and all you can say about Grads is that he gets hurt?? So he’s a great QB, he just gets hurt, right?? LOL!! I knew you weren’t over your man crush. What is it, the “American terrorist” look??

  • Just Fire Baby

How many kickoff returns for a TD have we given up this year?

Just the one in the game we got every break imaginable!!!

  • RAIDERMAN99

Anyone that watched JaJason’s performances against the Titans, Rams, Niners, Chiefs, and Steelers this year and still doesn’t realize that he’s a mutt with fleas is an idiot.

    JaJason sucks.

JaJason’s performance against the Niners was the worst I’ve ever seen. Absolutely pathetic and undeniable proof that he’s a complete stiff.

    Let me say it again…

    JaJason sucks.

Spin it all you want. Make all the excuses you want.

    JaJason’s performances speak for themselves.

And they loudly and clearly say…

    JaJason sucks.

    Big time.

  • RAIDERMAN99

Yeah, all you JaJason supporters would like to forget his performance against the Niners.

You’d like to pretend the slide in Tenn didn’t happen.

You’d like to forget the first half against the Rams.

You’d like to forget how bad he was against KC til Ford bailed him out.

You’d like to forget his performance in Pitt.

Hell, I’d like to forget them too.

    But I can’t.

And if the Raids don’t dump JaJason in the offseason, I guarantee you that he’ll supply the Nation with many more games we’d like to forget.

    JaJason sucks.
