    Like I said:

1 – game STD must lose

2 – games kc must lose (Oakland being 1 of them)

3 – games Oakland must win

That simple, easy as 1-2-3 (on paper).

No other way. Az and 0-fer games the worst. Has come back to bite. Wildcard, no way.

I agree. So like I said yesterday…who’s gonna beat San Diego? Cincy? Denver?

Cinnci or Denver can beat them. Why not? All we need is the good Carson to show up. lol…. Or for them to run the dam ball!!!!

Nothing would be sweeter than winning out making the playoffs and going to the superbowl a wild card. Sure would make Al look even more right than he has proven himself to be as of late… Shanna rat, Kiffin = Al was right. Huff, Mitchell, and others = Al was right. Don’t be surprised when DHB pans out either.

DHB will be moved to CB or waived in the off season. Damola adjenjii will replace him as WR.

Not so sure about that. ( James Jett?) Wish they would move Aso to SS.

  11. DirteeRaccoon Says:

Tebow Time has arrived for the Denver Broncos.

Rookie quarterback Tim Tebow will make his first NFL start Sunday at Oakland, according to a league source, after starter Kyle Orton couldn’t throw in practice this week because of bruised ribs.

A Broncos spokesman said Saturday that the team hadn’t made an announcement about its quarterback situation and that Orton was still considered questionable. The Denver Post reported that Orton would travel for the game against the AFC West rival Raiders.

Under now-fired coach Josh McDaniels, the Broncos traded three draft picks last April to move up and select Tebow 25th overall, but he has made just cameo appearances in six games this season. Tebow has run 12 times for 28 yards and three touchdowns, and his only pass went for a 3-yard score to Spencer Larsen during a Week 10 rout of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Orton ranks fourth in the NFL with 3,653 passing yards this season, but the Broncos have struggled with him at quarterback, going 5-18 over his last 23 games as the starter.

  12. M Lonetree Says:

    RaiderforLife,

naw, DHB’s contract #’s go down next year, he’ll be kept no problem. WR or DB doesn’t matter.

  13. M Lonetree Says:

    DirteeRaccoon,

did you read what Brandon Lloyd, the Donks leading receiver had to say ysterday? He couldn’t understand why people are clamouring for T-Bone because Lloyd knows that they are better off with Orton.
Haha! The team has already quit on the season and now they’re gonna try a gimmick QB. Wheeee!

  16. DaRayduh Says:

I agree. So like I said yesterday…who’s gonna beat San Diego? Cincy? Denver?

    ————————

It will have to be one of them, no doubt. Cincy probably the better odds, but maybe Denver players looking for contract extensions, free agent worth, salary increases, a ticket out for more value, who knows. Maybe they’ll play harder. Maybe Tebow tries to proove his value. But none the less, THEY BOTH SUCK!

I’m gonna send Jani the web link to the AZ fg attempt on you tube. Just to remind him how important it is not to be sweating in Arizona like he was, Probably was holding back the runs, if you know what I mean.

Gentlemen, We have to throw the wild-card equation out into the trash bin. Jets and Biltmo will not lose 3 games each. Just won’t happen. Indy and STD/KC have a more legit shot than we do. So does Miami.

But Al will make things right and we’ll be in it next year. He knows we have a much, much, much tougher schedule next year.

.The Raiders have given up 10 plays of 50-yards or more this season, and nine of them have come in their seven losses. Break it down further and Oakland is 29th in the league in allowing 61 plays of 20 or more yards.

Last week, the Raiders blew a 24-14 lead as the Jacksonville Jaguars had three plays of 48-yards or longer in the second half to win 38-31

    .
Oakland, which has been susceptible to the big play in the secondary (yielding 25 touchdowns and an average of 13.5 yards per reception), would seem to be getting a break today. The Raiders are taking on 3-10 Denver and quarterback Tim Tebow, a rookie known more for his running than throwing and who is making his first start on the road in the rain.

And, of yeah, the last time these two teams played, Oakland won 59-14 in Denver on Oct. 24.

“We have no reason to be overconfident over anybody,” defensive tackle Tommy Kelly said. “We just have to go out there and handle our business, and the next time we get somebody down, step on their throat.”

Or at least lay on them. In games where Kelly, Richard Seymour and Co. have three or more sacks, the Raiders are 6-1. And one of the reasons Tebow is replacing Kyle Orton as starter is Orton has bruised ribs from being sacked a career-high 34 times.

Boy thanks to my computer being out I’ve been MIA, in a lot of ways that’s a good thing because that way I can’t blast some of the garbage that goes on in here.

Looks like Hujack is a hot commodity all of a sudden I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case so soon because JC could use a couple of years in this system. But in todays NFL that just is very rare. Now he’ll probably go somewhere for a few years and get fired once he realizes that a HC position is much tougher than he ever thought.

Some peeople are just OC’s and DC’s rather than head guys but they rarely ynderstand that until they fail a few times. Bugle, Mike White, Norv Turner, Wade Phillips and many more. Why not make the guy in charge a success and everybody keeps their jobs for years instead of everyone wanting to be Chiefs when they’re just rank and file soldiers.

John Marshall has figured this out IMO so should Hujack but he wont he’ll go somewhere else stink it up and be right back where he is now in 5 years.

McClain, Houston, Veldheer, and Ford are guys that can help the team and contribute a lit in the next few years. Best Raider draft in a long time. I can’t think of a better a Raider draft in the last 2 decades.

  64. priesttj Says:

yeah sure he is, have another drink.

  65. The Real MaddenRaider Says:

Al’s record as a head coach is 23-16-3. If that gets you into Canton, they should just burn the building down. Al’s in as an owner. NOT as a head coach. Al Davis was mediocre at best as a head coach. He’s right along the lines of the mediocre coaches you listed.

  66. Raider O Says:

    Lot*

  67. The Real MaddenRaider Says:

priest, Al is not in the hall as a head coach. He was only a head coach for 3 years. Overachieved his first year, was mediocre the second two. Al was a good owner in the ’70s. That’s why he’s in.

  68. The Real MaddenRaider Says:

priest doesn’t even know anything about his hero Al Davis. Thinks Al Davis is in the hall of fame as a head coach! HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!! 23-16! Yeh, those are hall numbers!

  70. The Real MaddenRaider Says:

I don’t need you to tell me why he’s in if you’re going to tell me he’s in as a head coach. Look up his stats as a head coach. If he’s in as a head coach, so is Gruden. Gruden is a first ballot certainty if 23-16 gets you in. LOL.

    Yeh, ok….

  72. priesttj Says:

look u damn fool, no one said he was in as a HC………..take ur head out!

  73. The Real MaddenRaider Says:

You implied he was in as an HC, assuming I was dumb enough to believe it. Just so happens, I know how to use google. I looked up Al Davis’s head coaching stats. He belongs in the hall of fame as a head coach about as much as Josh McDaniel. Al Davis sucked as a head coach. So, like I said earlier, he’s no better than those mediocre coaches you were naming.

  74. The Real MaddenRaider Says:

Al Davis is in as an OWNER. Read, OWNER. He’s not in for any kind of football knowledge. He’s the owner of the Raiders, and the team he owned succeeded. That’s all the HOF voters have to go on. If Al was an architect of his football teams, he should have officially listed himself as a general manager. He didn’t. He’s just a successful owner. Well, was.

  75. TerrapinRaider Says:

I don’t think Hue Jack’s name has been thrown around for HC consideration. Only by local Bay Area media conjecture – nothing national. Maybe I’m just blind to it but it’ll be news to me.

  76. priesttj Says:

Well I have to admit it hasn’t hit natioal news but it wouldn’t surprise me with the proliferation of owners overreacting to every semi-successful assistantI just would like to see us win 9 games and go into next year with some momentum.

  77. Nnamdi21 Says:

    ……

Heck yeah. I agree 100%. Playoffs would be a bonus, but this team isn’t ready to beat teams like the Steelers, Patriots, or Falcons yet.

  79. priesttj Says:

Louis Murphy’s inconsistency and Chaz have cost this team maybe a playoff birth. Late in games when we have needed them most they’ve been unreliable and MIA. Theey have the most ability to be possesion rec’s that we have missed. It’s sad that a rookie has been the most reliable and DHB Chaz and Murphy let us down. Think of what this offense would be if those three were just decent rec’s.

That’s why I’m hoping for some continuity this offseason. We could be an odds on favorite going into next year with all these weapons. So we’ll see what happens….

  80. DirteeRaccoon Says:

MR you ok? A little trouble on the East Side this afternoon.

  81. YoungAmerican Says:

It wouldn’t surprise me if some teams are at least interested in interviewing Hue Jackson for a coaching position. But I think it’s worth noting that the “Hue to Denver” conjecture began with a blurb on a Denver-area sports blog that noted the Broncos might be interested in Hue because of his experience running the ZBS… in reality, Cable is the ZBS guy and Hue started implementing more power blocking schemes when he got here. That was what he worked with during his days in Baltimore. There is ample reason to doubt the credibility of the rumor if the supposed reason the Broncos are interested is based on misinformation.

  82. The Real MaddenRaider Says:

Murphy has had two plays which really hurt the team..the Houston drop on the last drive and the fumble against the Steelers that reset the entire tone of that game.

  105. Born with a Patch Says:

I’m not sayin he is a good QB or anything, but i wanted the Raiders to pick up tebow in the third round if he lasted that long. obviously he didn’t…. anyway the kid is a winner, has great work ethic and builds a positive work environment. would have been a good locker room addition. i really didn’t want to see him throwing the ball though

  106. r8eray Says:

    Mornin Patch,
It’s gonna be a muddy game today. I expect alot of run, run, run….DMC will have a field day today!

  107. Born with a Patch Says:

-Saying DHB is better than TO, C Branch, and T Brown
-JaMarcus will lead us to 3 Super Bowls
-Nick Miller is a DB killer
    -DHB still photos show improvement
-JaMarcus is working his butt off this offseason
-J Fargas is a elite RB
-DMAC is a 3rd down RB we dont need
    -DMAC goes down to easy
-A Shields is the next Jerry Rice

Boy thanks to my computer being out I’ve been MIA, in a lot of ways that’s a good thing because that way I can’t blast some of the garbage that goes on in here.

  116. ENGLANDRAIDER Says:

    Hey NeilB:

It’s about six inches and total crap.

  117. ENGLANDRAIDER Says:

Cable said last week that we would run Bush more but that didn’t happen.
I still want to see Bush running between the tackles and McFadden outside.

  121. Raider O Says:

    Neilb,

I’m still pissed at the Jags, Az, and SF games.
    We could be 9-4!!!

  122. MistaTheGuru Says:

None??! You must be living in a bubble.
I’m down south and it’s all over the place.
Tonight’s low is forecast as minus 11(C) which means icy roads.
Driving around is getting to be really exciting.

When it comes to snow, I’d just as soon visit it at Tahoe, have some fun, play some cards, lay down a bet or two, and then leave the snow where the hell it belongs.

  128. RaiderTW Says:

Cassel will start today but he won’t finish!

  129. ENGLANDRAIDER Says:

Picking St Louis to win along with the Raiders.
    Raiders 27-17.

    GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  130. neilb Says:

    England….

Did you not see the Sunderland game on M.O.T.D ? No snow and the sun was out.We must be the only place in the UK with no snow.

  131. Just Fire Baby Says:

I wouldn’t be suprised if Tebow got a very dumbed down game-plan and actually plays some fairly efficient football.

I’m not thinking this game is as easy as some think it is going to be, with sacking the QB 7 times and getting 3 INT’s and all that.

We would have had a much easier game playing Orton, being we beat them 59-14 with him, and that the team had packed it in the last month.
