So can you machine dry your white robe and hood, or do you hand-wash it and hang it outside?

  • Just Fire Baby

I see Fresno State lost another bowl game they don’t bother to show up to against a no-name team.

Can we get off the Pat Hill is a great coach bandwagon now? He has lost to Northern Illinois, Tulsa, and Colorado State in bowl games the last few years.

The guy will get his team to compete against USC for 3 quarters, and never show up against Northern Illinois.

One of the most overrated coaches in NCAA history, all because he had a cool quote on playing anyone, anywhere.

Boy thanks to my computer being out I’ve been MIA, in a lot of ways that’s a good thing because that way I can’t blast some of the garbage that goes on in here.

Looks like Hujack is a hot commodity all of a sudden I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case so soon because JC could use a couple of years in this system. But in todays NFL that just is very rare. Now he’ll probably go somewhere for a few years and get fired once he realizes that a HC position is much tougher than he ever thought.

Some peeople are just OC’s and DC’s rather than head guys but they rarely ynderstand that until they fail a few times. Bugle, Mike White, Norv Turner, Wade Phillips and many more. Why not make the guy in charge a success and everybody keeps their jobs for years instead of everyone wanting to be Chiefs when they’re just rank and file soldiers.

John Marshall has figured this out IMO so should Hujack but he wont he’ll go somewhere else stink it up and be right back where he is now in 5 years.

    ….Al Davis

  • priesttj

Yeah that’s probably why he’s in the HOF…..lol

  • http://www.aldavissucks.blogspot.com The Real MaddenRaider

Al’s in the hall of fame as a head coach?

  • http://atm Raider O

Al Davis had a great draft this year.
McClain, Houston, Veldheer, and Ford are guys that can help the team and contribute a lit in the next few years. Best Raider draft in a long time. I can’t think of a better a Raider draft in the last 2 decades.

  • priesttj

yeah sure he is, have another drink.

  • http://www.aldavissucks.blogspot.com The Real MaddenRaider

Al’s record as a head coach is 23-16-3. If that gets you into Canton, they should just burn the building down. Al’s in as an owner. NOT as a head coach. Al Davis was mediocre at best as a head coach. He’s right along the lines of the mediocre coaches you listed.

  • http://atm Raider O

    Lot*

  • http://www.aldavissucks.blogspot.com The Real MaddenRaider

priest, Al is not in the hall as a head coach. He was only a head coach for 3 years. Overachieved his first year, was mediocre the second two. Al was a good owner in the ’70s. That’s why he’s in.

  • http://www.aldavissucks.blogspot.com The Real MaddenRaider

priest doesn’t even know anything about his hero Al Davis. Thinks Al Davis is in the hall of fame as a head coach! HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!! 23-16! Yeh, those are hall numbers!

  • priesttj

Hey fruitloop!! I don’t need you to tell me why he’s in OK!

  • http://www.aldavissucks.blogspot.com The Real MaddenRaider

I don’t need you to tell me why he’s in if you’re going to tell me he’s in as a head coach. Look up his stats as a head coach. If he’s in as a head coach, so is Gruden. Gruden is a first ballot certainty if 23-16 gets you in. LOL.

  • http://www.aldavissucks.blogspot.com The Real MaddenRaider

Al’s hall of fame career as a head coach:

    Games over .500: 7
    Super Bowl Wins: 0
    Overall Championships: 0
    Conference Championships: 0
    Division Championships: 0

    http://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/DaviAl0.htm

    Yeh, ok….

  • priesttj

look u damn fool, no one said he was in as a HC………..take ur head out!

  • http://www.aldavissucks.blogspot.com The Real MaddenRaider

You implied he was in as an HC, assuming I was dumb enough to believe it. Just so happens, I know how to use google. I looked up Al Davis’s head coaching stats. He belongs in the hall of fame as a head coach about as much as Josh McDaniel. Al Davis sucked as a head coach. So, like I said earlier, he’s no better than those mediocre coaches you were naming.

  • http://www.aldavissucks.blogspot.com The Real MaddenRaider

Al Davis is in as an OWNER. Read, OWNER. He’s not in for any kind of football knowledge. He’s the owner of the Raiders, and the team he owned succeeded. That’s all the HOF voters have to go on. If Al was an architect of his football teams, he should have officially listed himself as a general manager. He didn’t. He’s just a successful owner. Well, was.

  • TerrapinRaider

I don’t think Hue Jack’s name has been thrown around for HC consideration. Only by local Bay Area media conjecture – nothing national. Maybe I’m just blind to it but it’ll be news to me.

  • priesttj

Well I have to admit it hasn’t hit natioal news but it wouldn’t surprise me with the proliferation of owners overreacting to every semi-successful assistantI just would like to see us win 9 games and go into next year with some momentum.

  • Nnamdi21

Louis Murphy has been as inconsistent as the Raiders in general. He’s dropped and or not stayed in bounds on alot of attempts this year.

Hope he doesn’t start slow again tomorrow.

    ……

Heck yeah. I agree 100%. Playoffs would be a bonus, but this team isn’t ready to beat teams like the Steelers, Patriots, or Falcons yet.

  • priesttj

Louis Murphy’s inconsistency and Chaz have cost this team maybe a playoff birth. Late in games when we have needed them most they’ve been unreliable and MIA. Theey have the most ability to be possesion rec’s that we have missed. It’s sad that a rookie has been the most reliable and DHB Chaz and Murphy let us down. Think of what this offense would be if those three were just decent rec’s.

That’s why I’m hoping for some continuity this offseason. We could be an odds on favorite going into next year with all these weapons. So we’ll see what happens….

  • http://www.ibabuzz.com DirteeRaccoon

MR you ok? A little trouble on the East Side this afternoon.

  • YoungAmerican

It wouldn’t surprise me if some teams are at least interested in interviewing Hue Jackson for a coaching position. But I think it’s worth noting that the “Hue to Denver” conjecture began with a blurb on a Denver-area sports blog that noted the Broncos might be interested in Hue because of his experience running the ZBS… in reality, Cable is the ZBS guy and Hue started implementing more power blocking schemes when he got here. That was what he worked with during his days in Baltimore. There is ample reason to doubt the credibility of the rumor if the supposed reason the Broncos are interested is based on misinformation.

  • http://www.aldavissucks.blogspot.com The Real MaddenRaider

I’m not ok, Raccoon. Priest said that Al’s in the hall as a head coach, and I laughed my gut out.

YA truth be told Hue Jackson and Tom Cable were both at Cal Berkeley together and they hare both experienced in the ZBS it would be easy if he wanted to convert but Mr Davis is the one who pushed Cable to convert to power blocking system. TC actually implemented with Hue’s assistance.

Mr Davis likes both but we have the type of lineman more gifted at PBS than the Zone and it fits the RB’s as well.

The only downside to the Raiders winning today and the Chiefs losing (going to happen)?

Listening to the media heads heap praise on the Chargers all week and them controlling their own destiny.

  • SnB Production

    Priesttj,

Yup, Chaz and Louis Murphy have hurt the team for sure. Injury and inconsistency.

Murphy has had two plays which really hurt the team..the Houston drop on the last drive and the fumble against the Steelers that reset the entire tone of that game.

The Raiders, unfortunately, have to bring in a new receiver for competition.

  • Just Fire Baby

Yup, Chaz and Louis Murphy have hurt the team for sure

    ******************************

How does DHB not make this list, or does it go without saying?

  • SnB Production

    JFB,

    Blinding glimpses of the obvious…..

  • SnB Production

DHB just has to show everyone something. His lack of production is quite clear. But sadly, I don’t think many are expecting much from him anymore.

Fortunately, he’s a good blocker and that has probably helped DMAC.

    Roger.

At least Murpy catches TD’s, frustrating as he is at times.
