  • Hey, Bo, I love being “set off” to make fun of Al Davis. I welcome it any time! LOL.

This is hilarious. Mistic, you need to take your faux sensitivity and stick it. Actual racism, practiced by real racists, is based on tangible behavior not tacky humor on a blog.

I guarantee that no black man, you included, would in person accuse a white man of being a racist on such bogus evidence.
    =========================================================

1.)Klans men said black people have tails and are 3/4 humans, they are racist, but there is no tangible evidence to back this claim.

2.) I havent accused anyone of being racist, only the post.

    do you have anything else?

  • Lonetree, I admitted I was wrong about Al and the 5 wins. Can’t help but to believe that the league just sucks now, though. And that’s the real reason for it. But nonetheless, I was wrong, and admit it. Al’s broken out of the cellar. But he still meddles too much and it still ruins his team.

  • Mistic, your #1 example IS tangible behavior. So is being a klan member. Tacky humor at JaMarcus’ expense is not racist on its own.

    do you have anything else?

  • Hey, Bo, why don’t you bait me some more into making fun of Al? LOL.

  • Bo’s in complete control, you guys. He’s basically baiting me. He lays the bait, I rip Al Davis to shreds. He’s the driver and I’m the passenger. LOL.

  • I guess not.

  • I believe tool is a better descriptor. Lonetree summed you up pretty well too….”most tawdry of egos”.

    LMAO.

  • hwnrdr

Haha…someone just asked Jerry that he thinks the Raiders will beat the Colts because…and he answered with … because they’ll come dressed as an AFC West team…wow…but did add that the Colts are 28th against the run…

  • Bo, what were some of StrahanMan’s comments?

  • No doubt, Bo, I’m a tool. Just mention Al, and I will destroy him. It’s a guaranteed reaction every time you do it. LOL.

  • What name’s Norco Bob posting as now? I’m sure he’s banned after his melt down the other night. He was hilarious. And it comes as no surprise that Brien has vanished, too.

    ????????

So then there is no such thing as subtle or closet racism? You have to experience it to know it i guess.

    Any way back to football.

  • Mistic, be patient. Bo admits getting his views on race from Al Davis. LOL.

Another reason why qb rating is not that big a deal. Eagle 7 was 10-15 for 65 yds and a pick 6:10 to play in the 3rd quarter, down 24-3. he had a qb rating of 47.9.

We all know how that turned out.

  • QB rating’s not that big of a deal until Campbell has a good rating. Then you’ll make his rating your screen name, won’t you?

  • QB rating is good for evaluating QB play, obviously. It doesn’t mean you can’t win, otherwise.

I suspect Routt will get toasted all game by some combo of slow white guys.

    ^^^^^^^
Yep…this would not surprise me either.

They need to bring the pressure up the middle to disrupt Mannings timing.

This is my point, someone can be terrible for 3 quarters with a rating of zero, doesnt matter if he makes the big play in the end to win.

  • Mistic1 Tha Supavillain

Brett favre top 10 qb of all time?!?!?!/ laughable

  • LOL. Mistic, your only point is that you believe Campbell should remain our starting QB. Campbell sucks. Cable is going to have his ass out of here by next year, if there’s a season. McNabb.

  • Mistic, Brett Favre’s numbers and Super Bowl victory put him in anyone’s top 10. He’s probably in the top 5. Campbell is in the top million.

  • Mistic1 Tha Supavillain

seriously, you can put a guy with over 300 int’s in your top 10? Yipes. no bone heads allowed in my top 10

Sitting at 7-7, the Raiders have made football in the Bay Area fun to watch again. I could sit here and write about Raider statistics all day but that wouldn’t really tell you anything about the changes that the Raiders have made this year. What I can tell you is how the Oakland Raiders have corrected many of their poor football habits.

Football habits are considered to be the “little things” that separate the Pros from the Joes. On the defensive side of the ball the little things would be getting lined up, good tackling and knowing your assignment.

The offensive side it would be knowing the snap count, running the correct routs and establishing a run game. It’s the same with special teams, like holding your blocks until the whistle is blown, catching the ball and setting your offense or defense up with good field position. All of these little things have to be done if a team wants any chance to win a game.

When it comes to “the little things,” the Raiders have not set the best example, but they are easily the most improved in the 2010 NFL season. Most people think that doing the little things comes from coaching, but I disagree. Coaches can only give players the information, and from that point it has to come straight from the player. I try and tell people time and time again that a player’s mindset is everything in the game of football, and you can not coach that.

Ezra Shaw/Getty Images When a player gets to the NFL, he has proven to the world that he is one of the best. He has done so by doing all of the little thing that separated him from the others.

The Oakland Raiders didn’t need a babysitter to tell them how to play football the right way. They needed to take it upon themselves to play the game in a way that made them NFL players in the first place, and that is exactly what they have done.

When people watch the game of football they want to see the passion of the game come alive no matter what rule changes are put in place. The Raiders have reawakened the soul of the McAfee stadium and just in time, because I don’t think Raider Nation could take another bad year.

    ……….

Every sport has legends who failed as well as succeeded. Reggie Jackson comes to mind. And how about Al Davis?

  • I think the Raiders are going to choke this week and it’s all going to be over. Then it’s time for Al to get to the table and try to talk some sense into the other owners. Because the union’s not budging.

  • No, I don’t want the Raiders to lose, ding dong. If I wanted the Raiders to lose, I’d just root against them, and be a fan of another team. Why would I waste my time? I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t a Raider fan. But they are going to lose this week. Must in game for Indy. Manning will slice Al’s defense into pieces. It will be a blowout. Big story starting next Monday is the lockout. And that’s where Al might be able to do some good, for a change.

MR, but do you LOVE the RAIDERS?

  • Raccoon, no, I don’t love the Raiders. Why should anyone?

  • Bo, what are some of the things Strahanman said? I don’t remember. I’m sure some of them have to be funny.

  • hwnrdr, I’ll respond when you start using your regular name again.

  • hwnrdr

Well, I have been and always have been. Don’t have the time to be switching aliases.

  • Sure, Hwnrdr. But that was entertaining, though. Puerto Rican with the Myagi accent. You should try out for SNL.

  • Mansti Tyson

  • hwnrdr

Sure, but no where near NY…and besides, if I had something to say to you or anyone else on this blog, I would not sign in on names that I would never come up with and say it. Not knocking anyone but I wouldn’t even know what mansti is…like I’m answering you now, it would always be hwnrdr…believe it or not, it doesn’t matter…

  • This board has gotten so embarrassing.
Pathetic little insecure cross posting losers, who rush to change names, all with the weak attempt to get attention.
    “admit you are this poster”
“no, only after you admit you are that guy”

and it’s probably the same guy posting under numerous handles.

what’s really sad is you don’t know how sorry you come across.

Now is when some of you can say “He’s AB” “He’s MrB” “He’s Ricochet” “He’s Bo”

    morons

  • Just glance up at the last 25 posts.

Is it not obvious to all that the average age for the majority of the posts is 13?

posters come here to cross post.
to actually discuss the Raiders? with solid posters?
everyone now goes elsewhere, away from the children, as I shall.

pick up your toys when you are done playing, children.

  • whats all this cross dressing you speak of?

  • hwnrdr

    Oh boy…
People have too many times on their hands. And you’re right, it probably was the same guy posting as different handles.

  • Plunketthead

    Are you feeling ok?
You sound just like norco bob. If I didnt know better I would swear you were one and the same

Your comments against Campbell are the reasons most of us know that you are dumb when it comes to football and talent.

While everyone else (raider hater included) are talking about how he has improved and is becoming a leader on this team, you say he “sucks”. You state that as if ist’s fact, but it’s not.

    JaMar sucked
    brooks sucked
    Walters sucked
    McCown Sucked
Gradkowski well he had some good moments, but that’s it.

Campbell- Good QB with first winning record for a Raider QB since 2002, with the best QB rating as well.

  • Plunketthead

When we got JC I was excited, not because I felt he would take us to the promised land but because I figured he was a middle of the pack NFL QB.

I also thought the team would play much better and they have. We have improved, helped by an amazing draft class.

JC scared me at first, especially that first game. However he has proven he can help the team win with the killer running attack.

More power to him. Lets hope he improves next year, which he should, especially if we get a proven WR.
