Alrighty.....here we go w/Alzheimer's AL and his stanky stuff......entitled, "Revolving Coaches" (Please sing to the melody of "Green Acres" TV show.)

AL’s folly is for all to see,
Oakland Raiders is the team for me,

Coaches spreading out so far and wide,
Keep hiring and firing, just give me those days gone by.

Coach upon coach is what I’d rather do,
Dementia and inconsistency is the cardinal rule,
AL just adores paying coaches half the price,
Dah-Ling I love you, but AL’s fantasy is not-so-nice.

Vertical attack, 1969
Man to man, mighty fine,
Revolving Coaches, aint so cool…..
AL knows best, nobody’s fool….

You are AL’s life,
Cable’s gone, now Jackson’s his wife,
Oakland RAIDERS WE ARE THERE!!!

Another embarrassing moment for Raider fans.
How is it Al has this knack for making fans who dare to feel good about the team, feel like shredded pork?
Season ends on a better note.
Fire the HC.
Hire someone most wanted hire.
Proceed to open mouth and be a fool.

And now they’re laughing at us.
again
---
The Hue Jackson hire just made us a better team. Don't take the stuff Al said too seriously. Everyone already knows how Al is. Anybody that knows football also knows he's a Hall of Famer who had a great past.

So we have a nutty owner. We aren't the only franchise that does.

I'm a big Blackhawk fan and Arthur Wirtz was the worst owner ever.

Al is high profile and behaves strangely at times (understatement), but make no mistake that teams are gonna be worried about the Raiders. With Al, take the good with the bad. Is he a vindictive bastard? Yes. Does he make bad decisions? He admitted as much, but he is what he is. He's always been like this.

Other teams fans don't live and die by what their owners say or do.

How about Jerry Jones? Owner of 'Americas Team'. The only thing that seperates him from Al is age (ok and a few other things). To alot of folks Jones is the biggest meddler in the league but it doesn't affect the "image" of the Cowboys really.

Al did the draft that brought us 4 "all rookies". Did the trade that brought us Seymour and many other things. Al put this team together despite everybody saying the Raiders would NEVER BE BACK until he was dead.

Is it embarrassing for us fans to see him behave like he did today? Yes. But it's Al. He's always been Al, but he's put together a team that dominated the AFC West and got us back to respectability. How many teams look at the schedule and see Oakland on it and feel good about it? No one.

Just accept that Al is horrible socially and obviously has "issues". He is childlike in his vengeful attitude and it's to his detriment.

We all wish he wouldn't portray himself in the manner he did today, but he is what he is.

"My other concern with today’s PC was that the name of Bush never came up from AD."

Not true; Al spoke highly of Bush and how he complemented McFadden with a different style of running. He said that in the 3rd and 4th quarters of a game, defenders wanted no part of tackling Bush.

I watched the whole presser. I do think Jerry, in one of these 3 posts, has what Al said about Bush.

My other concern with today's PC was that the name of Bush never came up from AD. I certainly hope AD is intending to resign him especially when DMac gets nicked up which happens more often than we'd like. The running game will be the salvation of our offensive dominance. It was good to hear AD draw a connection between Ford and old #21. For those of you too young to have seen Cliff Branch in action, you really missed someone special.

Raider75, you missed my point about how Jimmy Carter was able to unite southern whites and urban blacks for a political cause. Remember those days? Or are you too young?
....

Too young. I'm only 38. My first real memories of politics is Reagan getting shot and the Iran Contra stuff with Ollie North.

I was a middle class southern, country white boy with better things to do than get caught up in politics.

Didn't really care until my pot smoking teen years. lol
