Tim Brown was one of five players eliminated on the cutdown from 15 modern era candidates to 10 by the 44 selectors for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The others who didn’t make the final 10 were running back Jerome Bettis, wide receiver Cris Carter, defensive end Chris Doleman and defensive end Charlies Haley.

WHATS NEW..

Brown was better than both Reed & Carter imho. Reed making it past Brown & Carter must be due to his waiting time. Most certainly not production.

Cris carter didn’t make the list of finalist, either.
He was a helluva WR, too. Had some impressive career numbers also.
But, he had some baggage. He’s a jerk and had some off-field issues/drug problems.
Timmy was squeeky clean, as far as I know.
Get em next year, kid.

Defense wins championships?? Haha, what is this 1930?
Patriots, Rams, and Colts have shiny Lombardis because of offense. Don’t fight it.
