What if Asomugha signed a 1 yr deal for $12-13m w/ a player option of $14-16 on the 2nd year.

He’s still making good money, has plenty of freedom, can see the direction of the team, and work within our cap, whatever it may be in the new CBA

I agree! Let’s hope he can influence the whole damn line with that attitude. It will be interesting to see what we do at center. Do we move Veldheer to Center and bring in a OLT FA. Carlisle certasinly can’t be the RG starter next year. Maybe Loper, BCampbell or Walkeer at ORG. Either a draftee of FA at ORT. IfGaither is in play, maybe he gets picked up for OLT. I think Gallery will stay so he’s at OLG. Veldheer at center. BCampbell at ORG and our #1 pick in the 2nd round this year at the ORT position. That O-line could get it done.

Hey KK, What is it about the combine that cant be sorted out during NCAA season? Anybody can throw a great bull pen, but how do they perform under pressure. Thats why I think Al would rather stay home (among other reasons, dont go there) and gather reports. Dont they have all the times and strengths and stats on these guys already? I aint bad rappin the combine, I just dont understand it.

That’s why it’s such a puzzle that even though Mr. Davis will overpay and reward less than stellar talent, over the last years a lot of these high-payed players haven’t risen to their expectations, to say the least.
