Yep. There is another reason not to draft a 3rd Tier DE over a 2nd Tier potentially STARTING Guard or Right Tackle like Cannon or a potentially STARTING Center or Guard like Wiz.

I do like Phil Taylor though if he is there in Round 2…..but NOT over Marcus Cannon.

We need strong side LB who can cover TE’s so Branch could stay in the zone. When he can keep the ball in front of him he plays well, not so much when he has to turn his head and cover man. Just have to use him in the right way.

Kaepernick or Locker would be good picks in Round 2 if the team wants to try and get a developmental QB.

DK i agree. If you don’t really have any needs then you draft for potential, but we have oline and CB needs. If Branch could cover better he would be a beast.
