I cant find 1 libtard protesting the unconstitutional invasion of Libya. Now if GW did this, oh boy!
=============================================
here's the memo. Anwar Al-Awaki is the supposed head of Al Quieda and is a CIA asset. Al-Quieda is an invention of Robert Gates/Zbigniew Brezinzki during the Carter Administration/Afghan War. Its a hired out mercenary group destabilizing the middle east with known connections to the Saudi's (remember the Visas to the "terrorists" handed out in embassies prior to 9/11 - wake up. Its another empire invasion to dethrone a puppet the Government set up after 30 years. Same deal with Mubarak in Egypt, only Egypt's was a bloodless coup with the Army standing down.

Since the Tax-payers aren't funding NFL Stadiums anymore, The Owners, half of whom inherited their Teams & wealth, want to shortstop the Players to finance their stadiums.

Rush Limbaugh and AM radio manipulate po-white trash out in the booneys, who hate black people in the first place, and get them to tap into their hatreds for the benefit of the Owners.

RaiderRockstar Says:
March 23rd, 2011 at 12:04 pm
What I don’t care for is people saying the players are greedy when the owners are asking them to take a pay cut. More importantly the owners won’t open their books so their claims can be justified. Imagine if you invested stock in a company and they didn’t divulge their earnings statement. Literally, they cannot cuz it’s illegal.

***

Reign8,

players aren’t “investing” in the Raiders. They are looking for work and trying to find the best opportunity for them and thier families. They are employees and owners are the boss. There is a chain of command, you see? Like it or not, Al Davis is in a position of authority. He is in charge of what he pays his players. When those players demand more (like Gallery), they get shown the door. By the way, I’m pretty sure Daniel Loper was making the vet minimum last year and about 90 percent of Raider Nation said that he played just as well as Robert Gallery and his #2 overall draft pick contract that finally expired

Darrius Heyward-Bey versus Jacoby Ford is another fine example of that!
____________________

Most of the things you said divert attention from the main issue. OPENNING THE FRANCHISE BOOKS. What I said has nothing to do with individual contract signings. Also, when player act as a group, ie. union, they increase their power dramatically. For example Al Davis has to pay players more to sign them to the Oakland Raiders.

Raider Rockstar says

there will always be talented football players and other athletes willing to take $1 million or less per season.
_________________________________________________

Are there players that come off the street, out of college, obscurity and compete at the highest level with the worlds best pro football players... yes. Of course there is. Teams find players like Cameron Wake, Stephen Neal, Arian Foster everyonce in a while. The raiders have a few diamonds they have mined as well: Marcel Reece, Desmond Bryant... to a certain extent Tommy Kelly an undrafted rookie free agent they have developed that they later paid a big bag of money to, but that goes against what you are saying.

To do that consitently is a whole other ballgame. To be the best you have to acquire the best players and pay them accordingly...

Take a look at the All Pro Teams and tell me how many of these players are making less than 1 million a year.

FIRST-TEAM OFFENSE
Quarterback: Tom Brady, New England.- Hell no Big $
Running Backs: Jamaal Charles, Kansas City; Arian Foster, Houston.- both men probably are
Fullback: Vonta Leach, Houston.- probably
Tight End Jason Witten, Dallas.- Big $
Wide Receivers: Roddy White, Atlanta; Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis.- both make big $
Tackles: Jake Long, Miami; Joe Thomas, Cleveland.- both Big $
Guards: Logan Mankins, New England; Jahri Evans, New Orleans.- both big $
Center: Nick Mangold, New York Jets.- nope
Kicker: Billy Cundiff, Baltimore.
Kick Returner: Devin Hester, Chicago.- no

FIRST-TEAM DEFENSE
Ends: Julius Peppers, Chicago; John Abraham, Atlanta.
Tackles: Haloti Ngata, Baltimore; Ndamukong Suh, Detroit.- big $
Outside Linebackers: Clay Matthews, Green Bay; James Harrison, Pittsburgh.- Clay makes big $; Harrison is currently tagged to make big $, but he fits your next guy up scenario
Inside Linebacker: Patrick Willis, San Francisco; Jerod Mayo, New England.- big $
Cornerbacks: Nnamdi Asomugha, Oakland; Darrelle Revis, New York Jets.- really big $ over here
Safeties: Troy Polamalu, Pittsburgh; Ed Reed, Baltimore.- big $
Punter: Shane Lechler, Oakland.- too much money

SECOND-TEAM OFFENSE
Quarterback: None.
Running Backs: Michael Turner, Atlanta; Adrian Peterson, Minnesota.- big $
Fullback: Ovie Mughelli, Atlanta.(?)
Tight End: Antonio Gates, San Diego.- big $
Wide Receivers: Brandon Lloyd, Denver; Calvin Johnson, Detroit, and Dwayne Bowe, Kansas City (tie).- Lloyd maybe but Bowe and CJ both big $
Tackles: Jason Peters, Philadelphia; Sebastian Vollmer, New England.- Peters makes big $; Vollmer might fit your scenario
Guards: Chris Snee, New York Giants; Carl Nicks, New Orleans.- both make big $
Center: Maurkice Pouncey, Pittsburgh.
Kicker: David Akers, Philadelphia.- Big $
Kick Returner: Leon Washington, Seattle.

SECOND-TEAM DEFENSE
Ends: Osi Umenyiora, New York Giants; Justin Tuck, New York Giants.- big $
Tackles: Vince Wilfork, New England; Kyle Williams, Buffalo.- Wilfork big $; williams don't know
Outside Linebackers: Cameron Wake, Miami; DeMarcus Ware, Dallas.- Ware big $; wake fits your profile
Inside Linebackers: Brian Urlacher, Chicago; Ray Lewis, Baltimore.- Big $
Cornerbacks: Devin McCourty, New England; Charles Woodson, Green Bay.- charles big $; Mcourty may fit your profile depending on how much 2nd rd picks make
Safeties: Nick Collins, Green Bay; and Antrel Rolle, New York Giants, Eric Weddle, San Diego, Malcolm Jenkins, New Orleans, Quintin Mikell, Philadelphia, Chris Harris, Chicago, Michael Huff, Oakland, Michael Griffin, Tennessee, and Darren Sharper, New Orleans (tie).- Not sure on these guys to be honest but we all know Huff makes big $.
Punter: Mat McBriar, Dallas.

So out of the NFL's top 50 or so players or so over half of them were 1st round picks. All of them will demand a big contract once there rookie deal runs its course. most certainly all will get that 2nd big contract, but it is up to each individual GM to ensure they are getting the most bang for their $.

It costs money to have talented players. the majority of the talent comes from the 1st round draft picks. The teams find the rest from the the other 7 rounds and free agency. first round picks cost $.

NFL Revenue is growing by 15-20% a year on their current system, so there are a lot of things working right as is.

Obviously, this was a coded message from Al, delivered through Hue to the players..

Turn your stereos down, stay out of the clubs, or at least get a cab. Get in the gym, and be ready to dominate. I'm tired of reading about you on the police blotter...

Raiders D was 29th against the run in 2010.

Song remains the same.

Oakland led by far in runs of 40+ with 7.

They had 17 runners break away for 20+. Also in the top 6.

Its the system Davis demands.

Read where its a calculated strategy. Big dramatic break aways are gonna happen with this much man D but they don't hurt as much once twice a game if your putting up 28 points and eating the clock.

Eventually if you've got the lead the other team has to abanddon the run and throw into the pass D strength.

I have to say, my thinking's come around on this. Now I stand firmly in CoachDavisMachoTacoSupremo's corner. This damn lockout is a league-wide (possible UN influence as well) conspiracy to keep the Raiders out of the Super Bowl and deny Coach Davis a glorious return to prominence. Makes sense.

26. Thats nice Weathers. Well put but I don't care who you are back in the real world. If you ghost our postion again I'll bleed ya, real quiet, leave ya here...

Ha! Thats a line delivered to Carl Weathers as "Dillon" in Predator.

Good points though.

Raider ST speed from a stand still is an advantage over most teams.
