The stop seems a little petty and the cop should have told Murphy why he stopped him…I think Murph made the mistake of not wanting to be bullied … The wise thing is to always try and avoid contact with a bully cop because once he’s confronted you he’s going to do his bully thing…it’s a No win situation..bummer for Murphy

Moon was justified in his statements. The guy lived it. He’s not the only one that finds Nawrocki’s criticism over the top. Clausen got bashed some, but he had other things working against him. Even though we all know it’s a team game, his record at ND was questioned. People questioned his deep throwing ability also, saying he threw the football up for grabs a lot. Bottom line, he’s wasn’t half the prospect Newton is. Haven’t written Clausen off though. Moon couldn’t understand what a “fake smile” has to do with anything, and neither can I. No one says that just because he won a national championship in college, he’ll be a great player in the NFL. But Nawrocki’s assertion that Cam will never command respect in the locker room and that he’s not a leader doesn’t jive with the TEAM success he had as a collegian. Either Nawrocki is lying, or leadership has nothing to do with being a great QB and isn’t a factor in a team’s success. Moon questioned Nawrocki’s motive, which is fair game when you make such scathing, subjective criticisms. I’ve got no problem with it.

Has any QB who has had under 15 career collegiate starts ever went in the top 10?

I’m not sure, but I still think there is a decent chance the Panthers take him #1.

That guy that bashed Cam, Naworki or whatever, also bashed Claussen last year for a lot of the same stuff.

After one year, the wrap on Claussen looks to be about true, and I really think the Panthers will take either Gabbert or Newton number 1.

It seems more than likely that there will be some type of rookie salary cap, and if so, I would be willing to bet that a QB will go number 1 75% of the time moving forward.
