1. Carolina: Newton; 2. Denver: Miller; 3. Buffalo: Dareus; 4. Cincinnati: Green

By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer

No surprises in the first three picks, unless you’re like me and had Dareus going no. 2 and Miller No. 3.

Did Cam Newton really tell Deion it was time for a vacation? Might want to work on those verbiage skills exposed by Jon Gruden.

Von Miller had a heartfelt embrace with commissioner Roger Goodell despite his name being on the suit filed agianst ownership. Lip readers believe he was pleading with Goodell to make sure a rookie salary cap is not in place this year.

On a more serious note, Miller and a healthy Elvis Dumervill will cause some headaches for whatever form the Raiders’ offensive line takes this season.

Dareus was the top player on the board according to Mike Mayock, one of the better talent evaluators in the business, so it seems like a safe pick for the Bills.

As for the Bengals, A.J. Green of Georgia would probably be better off if Chad Ochcinco left town. But then, the Bengals’ do love a circus atmosphere.

I can see Niners picking Gabbert but wow Falcons gave up too much two 1st, one 2nd, and some later picks.

Cam Newton gets drafted and goes on vacation.

Rolando McClain gets drafted and asks Oakland for playbooks and formation DVDs to get started studying with…

    Blaine Gabbert to the Niners!

  12. Dakota Says:

Wow, I would be pissed if the Raiders made a trade like that. Cleveland just got a bounty.

  13. KoolKell Says:

2 Big WR’s. I bet both will be better next year than DHB, in year 3.

I was wondering who said that and was hoping it better be his dad. hahahahahahahahah. Carolina did real well for itself.

Cam Newton will bust. I can see it. His whole demeanor says bust to me.

1st time looking at an interview of the guy with Deon Sanders a few minutes ago and that guy is ssooooooo conceited.

Cam. Whats the 1st thing you are going to do now? Answer: “Vacation”

LOL. Good one kid. Good one. Well good luck to ya. But I think you’ll bust. I just don’t buy the hype.

And did Altanta make one ridiculous move or what!!!

  16. Dakota Says:

SF has a good defense…they could make it great by drafting Fairley.

Well he has to work on his icon status you know. I wonder with Kim Kardashian will be on this vacation too. (sarcasm)

    Aldon Smith?

    Dakota,
Yeah ATlanta must’ve really been enamored with Julio Jones. Wow.

Traded 12t,2nd and 4th, plus 1st and 4th in 2012. That is a haul for the Browns.

Jones seems like a phenomenal athlete, but Gruden just showed a clip of him dropping 5 or 6 easy catches.

Seems like a gamble to me.

  20. The Blackhole Says:

    new post

  21. Buckeyeraider Says:

wow. Locker ahead of Gabbert. Where’s he going to end up? Minny?

Picks are coming fast and furious. Teams aren’t messin around.

I’m glad they reduced the 1st rd from 15 mins to 10. That helps alot.

Hey Carolina have fun with your 70mil bust! Did you learn nothing from Al and DuhMarcBust? Is there a more stupid franchise in the NFL? This is hardly an upgrade your team still sucks. But I do thank you for replacing my Raiders as the league’s laughingstock!
