Man i we draft wiz at 48 just like when we drafted DHB i am done with the rest of this. He is a 3rd rounder at best and should not be taken above that. Right now my hope is that Daquan Bowers gets to us, I’d rather have Mallett at this pick than wiz because at least he presents value and grades out as a second rounder

I am not making the decisions, just relaying what I am hearing about Mini Wiz. Personally I would rather have Stephen Paea or even Casey Matthews. Although the more I think about Mini Wiz and if he is as tenacious as his Uncle was, I would be ok with picking him in round 2.

I don’t care if Mallett did drugs. Didn’t seem to hurt him in college. As long as he’s protected and we give him weapons, he should be successful. As bad as his 40 time is, he can’t have slower feet than Phillip Rivers. As long as he produces, I could care less what he does in his free time. That used to be the Raider way. I want Mallett or Bowers.

This is a DHB type reach. DHB was supposed to be a late first and we took him at 7. This guy has a 3rd round grade and we took him in the first half of the second. Lol veldheer gave up double digit sacks and was a 3rd round div II guy playing LT, tough transition…Wiz has to do a lot better than that to justify his selection this early

Getting Value is the only way you suceed in the draft. Insead of reaching on Wiz and trading next years picks to get back into the second, we could have traded back, still got this guy, picked an extra 3rd or fourth and possibly kept our picks for next year

The Raiders dearly needed a OG/C. His Uncle is the O-line Coach & HOF’r.
They will develop WIZ 2.0. He can challenge right away for a starter job/ or provide quality depth immediately.
