Players remain away from facility

There was no sign of any Raiders players between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. today, just a light stream of administrative employees and scouts arriving to prepare for the draft.

Judge orders lockout lifted

Judge Susan Nelson ruled in favor of the players’ request for an injunction to end the NFL lockout, with the league expected to appeal for a stay, the NFL Network and other outlets are reporting.

Tony La Russa’s daughter is now an Oakland Raiderette

We realize the NFL draft is just two days away, but here’s a non-football story about the Raiders that is gathering a lot of stream on the Web.
Bianca La Russa, daughter of former A’s and current St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa, is a new member of the Oakland Raiderettes cheerleading squad.
“A goal and a dream come true. I’m a 2011 Raiderette! I’m so excited to rep an organization that does so much good,” she said via Twitter.
