20 million guaranteed money to Stanford Routt, after 1 good year. Crazy.

  • bcz24

Too early to say Routts deal is crazy. If he performs at the same level throughout the contract that he did last year then he is worth the money.

  • PurpleDrank81

Yea I’ll Defintley keep them hydrated but there defintley gonna be workin harder then most kids just like I did. Conditioning is key. Hell Week is coming up there gonna hate wind sprints and snake sprints by the end of the week. You just gotta watch it with big kids because when they get tired they get sloppy and as a Linemen your feet are ur most important body part..

Routt went from 3 million to 10 million in a contract year. I don’t see any reason to guarantee the 20 million. We’ll see.

I say Routt has a solid season if for no other reason than his opposite may be a rook.

IMO routt is a solid corner. just as good,if not better than cromartie.

an he will have a better season than cro

    print that!!

    @ Koolkell

Agreed, Routt, showed improvement, but not worth 10 mill a year

  • Raiders for life

IMO, Routt is not even close to earning that kind of money. He’s not that good folks.
Bigger problem tho is the QB situation. Raiders are fked. Soup, Boller, Frye. Hopefully AD has a plan.

The holdup on Joseph is the wait for Nnamdi to set the market price. Everyone is in on all top cbs.

Nnamdi sets the pace. Its the Raider way

  • PurpleDrank81

Rumor on the streets…. Or rumor around the water cooler is Raiders are looking at 3 backup QB options in Trent Edwards,Marc Bulger and……..(Vince Young) Yeah Vince Young ….. Defintely going to be different

  • Born with a Patch

For example, Jason LaCanfora of NFL Network tweeted last July 30 that Berry’s six-year, $60 million deal with $34 million guaranteed makes him the “highest paid safety in NFL history.” Today, LaCanfora described Weddle’s $19 million as “record guarantees . . . for a safety.”

That’s not intended to be a slap at Jason. When he reported the Berry numbers, he relied on the accuracy of what the source told him. And when Jason reported the Weddle numbers, he did the same thing.

    hypothetical yet possible scenario:

    Week 17 – SD @ OAK

Winner goes to playoffs. Loser goes home.

Raiders need to get 10 yds on one play to win.

    Z. Miller & DMc are double covered.

What 3 WRs do you want to see on the field?

Which WR do you want the ball to go to?

  • PurpleDrank81

    Marcel Reece, Healthy Chaz, Jacoby

If we were on the 2yard line thats when I would wish we still had our best reciever on the team last year Khalif Barnes

Its looking like 1. restructure on LB/DE Kamerion Wimbley
    2. Huff either heading to Jags, Cowboys, but very little interest so far (Weddle balked at Jags, returns to Chargers
    3. Gallery to Seahawks
    4. appears either Carlisle is released
    5. Miller mum on his plans, so he is 50/50 to return or go. (Kevin Boss, Greg Olson appear to be attractive options at TE
    6. Yes, Antonio Cromartie has been mentioned 3 times
    7. no veteran receiver rumored to be a Raider
