Have you all noticed that Mitchell seems to be perpetually injured?
I like the guy but these chronically injured players have to go.
We need reliable players.

Maybe they kept Porter because they wanted to sneak Smoore into the practice squad, sign a veteran CB after week 1, then cut Porter.

Or its Porter the Gunner and they’ll cut Giordano when Mitchell returns then sign another CB.

And the theory nobody wants to hear, Its Huff the Nickel and Dimer.

I don’t have confidence on breshnehan either… I wouldn’t be surprised if the raider dline is. Bottom five in NFL for sacks And rushing yards allowed..

Matt Giordano is just insurance for Mitchell’s injury. Once Mitchell is healthy they’ll likely cut Giordano and sign Sheppard again.

By some of your logic we should just line up 3 te or run out of jumbo sets all thoughreece makes plays and is good enough in the blocking game to be effective. Tonga is not a great blocker by any stretch, struggles with both hand and feet placement, he is pretty good in the screen game though. Reece is a threat that must be accounted for on every play because he can leak out and wreak havoc. Reece adds much more to the passing game than Tonga does to the running game
