End 3rd qtr: Raiders 21, Bills 17
By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Sunday, September 18th, 2011 at 12:24 pm in Oakland Raiders.
The Raiders were unable to stop Buffalo in the third quarter and were in danger of losing the lead with the Bills having a first down at the Oakland 11-yard line following an illegal contact call on Rolando McClain.
Buffalo scored on a 43-yard run by Fred Jackson and on a 7-yard pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick to Stevie Johnson, who the Raiders were unable to cover successfully in the quarter. The second score came on a 57-yard drive which began on a lost fumble by Darren McFadden.

CJ can’t even cover a big slow TE.
He looks old and injured the last 2 weeks.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:25 pm
I’ll be damnned!
September 18th, 2011 at 12:25 pm
Not sure what Hue told the guys at halftime, but whatever it was, he should probably file that one away as unsuccessful.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:25 pm
Classic Raider meltdown.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:25 pm
Raiders are breaking down mentally and reverting to bumping and grabbing.
ugly football.
This is the test of Hue. Can he rally these guys and get them focused again?
September 18th, 2011 at 12:25 pm
RoMac is the most irreplaceable player on this team after the starting QB.
RoMac out = WHO at mlb?
I’m not blaming him for getting blocked out with only 6 in the box on that big run.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:26 pm
20 unanswered…..
Ok #20. You owe us….
September 18th, 2011 at 12:26 pm
who’s 79, Henderson? Just got pushed back 3 yards into the end zone.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:26 pm
Learning on the job for Hue.
What a buffoon.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:26 pm
21 unanswered points! Nice job Bresnahan.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:27 pm
HuJack needs to fine himself for a dumb move.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:27 pm
Wonder if Buffalo will kick it out of the end zone, or sandwedge one to Nick Miller to challenge him.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:27 pm
The penalty should help N Miller’s dumb ass stay in the end zone on this kickoff.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:27 pm
Classic Bresnaham meltdown!
September 18th, 2011 at 12:28 pm
Nick doesn’t need to be back there. D. Moore could return it.

…..
yep… seen this so many times. absolutely falls on the coach.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:28 pm
Miller hasn’t given up 21 unanswered points.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:28 pm
Wow. They are a first half team. This is pathetic to watch.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:28 pm
That 15 yard penalty will probably help our field position.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:28 pm
good call JFB.
A good ST coach orders a high pooch kick here and tries to pin them deep.
They’ll be kicking off from midfield.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:29 pm
No More NMiller on returns. Let’s see TJones
September 18th, 2011 at 12:29 pm
Time for Soup to sack up and prove he is a winner.

21 pts. unanswered? Then Hue’s IDIOTIC challenge. Shouldn’t your HC know the freaking rules of the game?
This is ridiculous, and indeed a clsssic Raider meltdown.
Some things never change.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:29 pm
Jax Jaguars all over again eh?
September 18th, 2011 at 12:29 pm
gut check time folks
September 18th, 2011 at 12:30 pm
Thank gawd he kicked it out the back
September 18th, 2011 at 12:30 pm
What up with the no booth review on all TD’S I believe he may not have gotten in.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:30 pm
LOL….that penalty probably benefitted us.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:30 pm
If we have any character, we can get back into this game.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:30 pm
If it prevents miller from returning, I am all for hue throwing the challenge flag after every scoring play this season
September 18th, 2011 at 12:30 pm
Buffalo still sucks ass and the Raiders will pull this one out. Keep positive.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:31 pm
Game isn’t over.
Good drive here and we have the lead.
Decent drive and we can tie it.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:31 pm
Just a 3pt game. Plenty of time. We should be good
September 18th, 2011 at 12:31 pm
the penalty was good. im tired of watching miller return kicks. we have to get big plays on offense. we must get a damn pass rush. we have become to damn stiff out there. lets play some ball.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:32 pm
We will win this game….
September 18th, 2011 at 12:32 pm
21-3 at the half and instead of finishing ‘em off they give up 21 freaking pts. unanswered?
This is horrible.
I don’t mind losing a game sometimes when you’re beaten. I’m used to it, but when u do it THIS way?
September 18th, 2011 at 12:32 pm
Soup needs to lead this team to victory.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:32 pm
At least they switched to the Raider game where I am at.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:32 pm
One handed catch of a terrible throw.
He doesn’t catch it #21 of Buffalo is in the end zone.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:33 pm
Keep blaming Miller, but #20s fumble started this whole mess.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:33 pm
Damn, can’t catch a break this half.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:34 pm

September 18th, 2011 at 12:34 pm

Thought so,,,,
September 18th, 2011 at 12:35 pm

September 18th, 2011 at 12:36 pm

September 18th, 2011 at 12:36 pm
DHB isn’t playing
September 18th, 2011 at 12:36 pm
That is not a double-reverse. It’s a reverse off an end-around.
Why do I know this and TV analyst don’t?
September 18th, 2011 at 12:36 pm
Keep faith Nation.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:37 pm

September 18th, 2011 at 12:41 pm

September 18th, 2011 at 12:43 pm
Way to redeem yourself #20!!!!!!
You Guys gotta hand it to Campbell. He has plenty of hater’s but he’s giving us more than a lot expected. Keep making smart throws and making good decisions. The “ANTI” Romo.
LET’S CLOSE THIS Sh!T OUT!!!!
September 18th, 2011 at 12:43 pm
We play ourselves into this hole and we have to play ourselves out
September 18th, 2011 at 12:43 pm
With Moore and Hagan performing this week, if Ford can get healthy or Moore/Jones can show they can handle returns, White Webster is done with this team in the very near future
September 18th, 2011 at 12:43 pm
We need a STOP on D. A turnover would be nice.
Forgive me for my lack of confidence in the D, but seeing as they are just letting Buffalo run all over them I am nervous.
Just do it.
Play to WIN.

September 18th, 2011 at 12:46 pm
C’mon. Raider D getting “shredded”.
Way to tighten up D.
Horrible.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:47 pm

September 18th, 2011 at 12:47 pm

September 18th, 2011 at 12:47 pm
Ok semyour. Gotta hold them to a FG
September 18th, 2011 at 12:47 pm
We all know the gun is pointed at the D’s head now!
September 18th, 2011 at 12:47 pm
Is there anything a Buffalo O-lineman can do to draw a holding penalty in this game? You can say I’m whining about the officiating, but damn.
On that long Spiller run there were 3 raider D-lineman who basically had their jersey pulled up over their head and tied in a knot. Including KWimbley at the point of atttack. Watch it and see for yourself.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:47 pm
I remember this defense from the preseason.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:47 pm
D line needs to take control. STOP THEM NOW
September 18th, 2011 at 12:47 pm

September 18th, 2011 at 12:52 pm

This defense is a f’in joke.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:52 pm
that damn cj. he didnt even have to do that. the defense cant make a stop to save their lives. we were off the field and u get this penalty. we have to score a td cuz i dont trust the defense right now. branch shouldve had that pick.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:52 pm
Hue is learning in his 2nd game that it takes 60 minutes to win a football game, against a very average team. Does Jason Campbell have 1 more drive left in him? This is a QB league now, and you have to have a top 12 guy to have a good season.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:52 pm
Soup needs to respond in like kind. NMiler – DO NOT RUN THIS KO OUT unless you can make it to at least the 20. Better yet, put TJones back there.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:53 pm
this game is on the entire D. they have played terrible football since half time.
September 18th, 2011 at 12:53 pm
WE WILL WIN THIS GAME
September 18th, 2011 at 12:53 pm
This defense sucks! Atleast we can count on 2 wins against KC this year.

September 18th, 2011 at 1:01 pm
Well, I posted on an earlier post that we’d have to wait awhile to see contributions from DMoore in the passing game.
Guess I whiffed on that one. Great game by the rookie.

September 18th, 2011 at 1:02 pm
Chris Johnson just stepped off a 1960 time-machine, the way he’s mugging receivers up and down the field.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:02 pm
We need a fumble recovery or pick, cause we cannot stop them
September 18th, 2011 at 1:02 pm
CJ needs to quit grabbing out there and start covering.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:02 pm
McClain has no talent.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:02 pm
Romac and CJ is killing us
September 18th, 2011 at 1:02 pm

September 18th, 2011 at 1:22 pm
Way to blow the game D. The offense will need to average about 35pts to even have a chance with our friendly defense allowing easy scores and dropping easy picks and playing the infamous prevent. Thanks fellas (thumbs down).
September 18th, 2011 at 1:23 pm
No defense. 4-12 in 2011. Guaranteed.

September 18th, 2011 at 1:23 pm
Absolutely awful second half. Hue sucks. Buffalo made the right adjustments, Hue did not. One of the most disappointing games in recent memory. We got teased in that first half.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:24 pm
2-0 looked in the bag.
Now 1-3 will be tough to avoid.

They lined the TE up outside 1 on 1 with CJ, sent him in motion towards the middle of the field, and CJ let him go uncovered at the snap of the ball.
CJ37 peeled off his man and went with Spiller who was coming outta the backfield. Houston had him covered perfectly though.
Just an awful day from CJ37. No way around it.
Defense gave up FIVE second qtr TDs. I guess we’ll see a lot of those fire Chuck B signs again.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:26 pm
I don’t enjoy football where defense isn’t played.

You’d think so wouldn’t you, but this defense is a bunch of puzzi choke artists.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:33 pm
The defense did the same crap last year under a different coach.
It is not coaching. It is a lack of football intelligence and a piss poor attitude.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:33 pm
I’m with you Tweedy… There is plenty of blame to go around on that defense top to bottom. I still can’t believe we lost
September 18th, 2011 at 1:33 pm
Ya,the old man should have covered that WR on the last TD.We should have tackled better. He shouldn’t have been called for those holding/PI penalties.Oh,also,he shouldn’t have fumbled to get the mo going in their direction.You,Beotch.are an idiot.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:33 pm
………and wtf Rolo.Make the freaking tackle.Got sick of watcing pi$$ poor angles and missed tackles.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:33 pm
No sacks recorded and one of those really bad all around games from our D
September 18th, 2011 at 1:33 pm
It was just too much to ask for a bad team to win 2 games on the road.

Lefty, I know a bad team when I see one. ALL THE TIME!
September 18th, 2011 at 1:35 pm
Heart Breaking. Like I said earlier…I think the guy is going to be a good one, but that is absolutely the worst game RoMac has ever played. He looked like he was coming off a three day bender.
He made one nice play all day…getting back in coverage to break up a potential TD.
Other than that…he was on his knees, with his head bobbin. Bobbing for apples I guess. Hell it’s almost Halloween. He missed every tackle possible in the open field. He SUCKED today, for sure.
Coming in close second was CJ37. Guy looked like a mark out there.
The Raiders D was pathetic. Giving up 35 points in the second half. Friggin SAD.
But, I’ll say it again. What the hell does a Buffalo O-lineman have to do to draw a holding call. Raiders forced what…five or six calls..along to go with their five sacks last week. This week NADA. Shut out. No sacks….no holding penalties.C’mon! Bills got away with a lot of schit.
With that being said, someone on D has to make a damn play. Pitiful.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:35 pm
I’m totally unimpressed with RoMac. He dogged it most of the game. His non-performance needs to be called out.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:35 pm
It was a game should have won… its OK.. beat the jets next week.. and Were back in business..
Kc lost. . Denver sucks.. I can’t believe I’m pulling for the patriots. .but effit. …go pats

September 18th, 2011 at 1:36 pm

Even more amazing than that, is that the previous record was held by………
Todd Marinovich!!!!
September 18th, 2011 at 1:36 pm
Bad team? What was the score? This team will be fine, the D will realize it’s shortcomings. 2 road games is a b!tch. I am going to focus on the positives. I am sick of all the negatrons on this board. I am also buying my tickets tomorrow. F all you nancy boys.

September 18th, 2011 at 1:37 pm
I said it during game: They should’ve just let Buffalo return kick off so they’d have time. I KNEW the D woudln’t stop them.
F’ing major choke job. Typical Raider meltdown.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:38 pm
Rolando led the team in tackles and had twice as many solo tackles as anyone else.
Not saying he played well, but nobody else was stepping up and doing anything either.
Imagine if he didn’t make those 7 solo tackles!!
September 18th, 2011 at 1:38 pm
McClain was also horrible on the long TD run by Jackson. He got blocked by no one and didn’t even sprint after jackson, looked like he was jogging.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:38 pm
Tough loss, no doubt about it.
How can you not be impressed with our offense though?
In this day and age, this is what the defense is all about.
We will still be tied for the division lead after this weekend with a developing offense.
Not worried at all.
We POUND the Jets next week.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:38 pm
Seems to me that what you saw in the second half was a consequence of a real late MNF game and then flying to the east coast.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:38 pm

Because the Raiders refuse to let our best DB cover their best WR. We play a set left and right CB set. So the opposing team just move their best WR around to exploit our weakness.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:39 pm
The score unfortunately was Buffalo 38, Oakland 35. Just like an ugly win in Denver is a WIN, a horrifying meltdown is an ugly LOSS!

September 18th, 2011 at 1:40 pm
England, what you saw is a team that can’t close the deal. Champions KO a weak opponent.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:40 pm
Ok. Trying to think straight.
At least we know we can move the ball and put points on the board. Ford and Moore should be starters. The receiver rotation is gonna be something serious when everyone is healthy. The running game never really got going good enough for clock management. Nick Miller should be benched or cut, we have too many other options (T. Jones or Moore). I didn’t then and I don’t agree with Chuck B’s defensive scheme now.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:41 pm
England no excuses they had enough time to rest. you don’t lose a game up 21 to 3. Plain and simple
September 18th, 2011 at 1:41 pm
Another GREAT thing about this game was the lack of false starts and offsides penalties.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:41 pm
Bresnahan sucked before, and he sucks now. He was working in the UFL and he’s the answer?
McClain sucks as a MLB. I counted 3 whiffs… And that last play? Garbage….
At least I’m used to these games. I’m betting there will be more….
September 18th, 2011 at 1:41 pm

September 18th, 2011 at 1:41 pm
I dont know,,,maybe we can have Rolando McClain lose 40lbs and move him to strong safety because he didn’t play like a MLB today. With all the tape he had on his arms it’s no wonder he couldnt make any tackles, he looked like a damn mummy out there.

Just a tad late there Hue.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:42 pm
Well rebound… we have to… that defense was horrible in the second half.. this one hurts… but raiders have to make up for it and beat jets. .. Miller sucks!! Overall team loss…if this game was at home.. its a blow outvin our favor. .
September 18th, 2011 at 1:44 pm
I’m having a very hard time giving Al Davis another dime of my money. I can’t stand soft teams, with no defense.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:44 pm
Blame goes all around. If the O doesnt have to punt the ball. We win. Dont fumble we win. D gets one stop we win. Take away a few flags we win.
Team loss all the way.
Positives We can score alot of points and we found our starting receiveing group. Well Replace Ford for Miller.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:44 pm
Baltimore gave up 26 points today after killing the Stealers. You guys need to calm down.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:45 pm
Too many excuses tho, we had the game in the bag and messed up bad on D in the second half. Good teams are supposed to win those games. It’s encouraging, but heart-breaking.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:45 pm
It’s hard to stomach remembering the 38-0 blowout to the Jets the last time at home.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:46 pm
Typical Raider football. A few bright spots and a whole lot of stench on defense.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:46 pm
We are light years ahead of last years team…Till he last second we didn’t quit on O…This is not the same RAIDER team from the past…We fix the D issues, we will win some of those games the media says we will lose…
September 18th, 2011 at 1:46 pm
CJ37 got burnt by some guy named Nelson on that last play. The guy who replaced Stevie Johnson caught the 4th and 3 pass on CJ that last drive. That same guy knocked the winning INT outta CJ’s hands.
If we moved Routt around, Bearded Smurf is smart enough to figure out who CJ37 was covering.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:46 pm
Campbell in the first two series looked like some kind of nervous nelly but he picked it up some.
How about that DMooooooooooooooooooore!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cliff Branch is back and his name is DMoore!
September 18th, 2011 at 1:47 pm
That was a tough game, O showed up and D was still in Alameda. One positive from this game is that Denarius Moore looks like he might be the real deal.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:47 pm
I can’t fault one bad play by McFadden. 35 points should be a win 99% of the time. Period. We are all very aware that what we saw in the preseason was very capable of happening now.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:47 pm

September 18th, 2011 at 1:47 pm
JFB,
Chaz always limps. That’s how he walks. It’s perfectly normal for him. I’ll prove it. When was the last time we saw him NOT limping?
September 18th, 2011 at 1:49 pm
The Raiders are definitely a better team now. D. Moore’s for real. That if anything has been proven today. Was Jano warming up when the Raiders were on their own 30?
tsk tsk…the truth is: the Raiders play better football when Al stays home.
BTW, I was the only one who predicted Buffalo, so count it. But I’ll also give the team props. I took Gruden 3 years to clean out the dead wood. It will probably take Jackson just as long. Hopefully Al gives him that time.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:49 pm
I’ll muster up hope for the next game, but the Jets game is a DO or DIE situation, in terms of a playoff caliber season, or just hoping for .500.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:50 pm
If Nick Miller is returning ANYTHING next week…somebody’s got some ’splainin to do. He ABSOLUTELY sucks.
Didn’t DWOW look pretty good as a return man this preseason. Although he might be too valuable as a WR now. How does he not start after today?
Hagan also earned his roster spot today, IMO. White Webster, Nick Miller the roster spot killer, whatever you want to call him, should have played his way off the roster today….if not before today, actually.
Murph, Ford and even DHB should be back soon. Get #89 the hell outta here.

once you come to terms with the fact they are just f’n stupid it all makes sense.
The guys on this defense are stupid.
I’m not trying to be funny. It is really sad. These guys don’t have the mental ability to play.

We played a great first half, run D, too many penalties and a fumble killed us in the second half.
The whole second half our Defense got abused
September 18th, 2011 at 1:52 pm
For all of the Fantasy Football fanatics, I hope you got your money’s worth with everyone passing for 300 yards plus and all of the offense. But for the Real Raiders Fans, we’ll take 100 passing yards and a win any day of the week. Campbell did well and the defense has no choice but to get it together. Don’t want to hear any noise about traveling to the east coast becase 2 east coast teams will be heading our way soon. We’ll bounce back and shock the world.

Having a return guy on your roster that should be working at McDonald’s isn’t going to put butts in the seats!
September 18th, 2011 at 1:52 pm
dmac is a part of it but he didnt give up the 5 tds on every possession in the 2nd half.it was a good hit on the ball and he coughed it up. i hat ethat. the defense had several chances to stop them and couldnt. romac was all over the place. i expecetd more from him and cj just really fugged us. i blame this loss on the defens. we both turned the ball over and scored a td from those to’s. buffalo however was able to make a couple of stop aside from the fumble. it should never have come down to this.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:52 pm
Why not just let Rock return kicks???
May not break one 100 yards, but I am confident he occasionaly will get us past the 30.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:52 pm
McClain easily had his worst game of his career and it’s not even close. Giordano and CJ need to lock themselves in a room and headbutt a wall after today’s performance.
At least Moore and the offense showed up. Scored a little too quick though, but I’m saying that in hindsight. D should’ve held firm. Short layoff and flight eventually did McClain and some others in. Seymour could’ve blew that screen up too if he broke down and didn’t whiff on that high arm tackle attempt. There were a lot of holes and misfires today. Time to get ready for the home opener.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:53 pm
That’s it, Wasbanned. Bash the players after losing a damn close game that they really had no business winning in the first place. Fans like you are the reason players like Nnamdi Asomugha and Zach Miller do everything they can to stay in Oakland…two players whom if were still here, we’d have won today. Especially Nnamdi.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:53 pm

it`s been a long time since i posted, but this is not on ro-mac.it`s all all the defensive players and chuck b.lets be honest at least 3 dropped int`s numerous yellow flags on the defense and no pass rush huge run lanes the d-line got manhandled.

I do appreciate Hue not making excuses. He’s a stand up guy, no doubt.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:55 pm
Starting WRs should be Moore, Ford. With DHB and Hagan as 1b and 1c. So sub them in and out constantly. Plus we still need to see what Murphy can do this season. We will put up points, we just have to stop the other team from doing so.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:55 pm
The thing is, we played two of the worst defenes from last season, and they probably aren’t a ton better this year.
Both are adequate offensively, but not great.
We play a great D next week, than a great offense a week after.
Big-boy teams coming into town, but at least we will have some home cooking to hopefully offset it.
September 18th, 2011 at 1:55 pm
D Moore 5 for 146
Hagen 5 for 61

September 18th, 2011 at 1:55 pm
our dbs are so bad it overshadows all the positives. our d line cant get pressure when the qb takes 3 steps back and his receivers are wide open, willie brown could have done a better job then chris johnson today. unfortunately, the raiders offense will be fun to watch this year but our dbs will ruin our season. whats sad is we are millions under the cap and did nothing during the preseason when it was obvious how bad our secondary is. in the end, mcclain , branch, and most of all johnson had interceptions slip right through their hands. they all could have ended the game. tom brady will throw for 7 touchdowns against us..
September 18th, 2011 at 1:56 pm

Lousy tackling, blown coverages, D-line got pushed around, secondary got picked too pieces.

The Raiders had an 18 point lead at halftime and gave up 35 points in the second half to lose the game. 35 points! If this isn’t a complete defensive failure, then there is really no point in arguing with someone who would blame the offense for this hack job. Team loss, my a$$. Get Nick Miller out and put Taiwan Jones back there. No need to let all of that speed sit on the sidelines while someone who shouldve been cut after the Saints preseason game continues to screw up. I will say that we’ll beat the NYJs next week. There scores came off of turnovers from Jax giving them short drives inside the 20, other than that they couldn’t move the ball that well, but then again we obviously have a very polite defense that allows drives so this could be scary. D-Moore,,, STUD.

Next week starters should be Ford and Moore, but Al’s pet DHB will start.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:09 pm
Morilla, really? We were in position to make 3 ints on the last drive alone.CJ was flagged numerous times for holding/PI.We were in position to stop them but the players didn’t make the plays that were there. The players just didn’t exacute-not the DCs fault.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:10 pm
How can anybody sit here and try to defend Hue’s decision to keep Nick Miller on the team? Hagan should have been active BOTH games.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:10 pm
In Ford’s last 6 games, he has 11 catches and 3 lost fumbles.
Not sure why he is inked in as a starting WR.
Definately on the field, and drawing up creative ways to get him in space.
But as a WR, he has regressed, IMO.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:11 pm
Its the DC’s fault when they are pitching and catching for a quarter and a half and they don’t change schemes or give them a different look.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:11 pm
I’d prefer Hagan to Miller. Miller had no business returning a couple of those kicks.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:11 pm
SF 14, Dallas 0. Perhaps the 49ers got the real head coach.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:11 pm
I’ll say it again. Something was wrong with McPain today. He was not himself. There were a couple of notable plays where the dude appeared to be JOGGING.
That includes the crucial 3rd and six right before the first 4th down conversion Buffalo converted.
RoMac was in coverage on the TE, and he wasn’t even running…just kinda jogging along a step behind. Then when Boyd or Branch comes up to make the tackle a yard before the 1st down( I believe it was the spot the zebras reviewed)….McClain didn’t even to try to get in on the tackle. He just pulled up…and just stood there. He coulda came in and tried to force a fumble…rip at the ball…He did nothing.
That’s not like that guy. He usually plays with a mean streak. Ask Danny Amendola…or Sproles for that matter.
He’s either out of shape, and was completely gassed in the 2nd half, or he’s “nicked”. Something was wrong today. I don’t wanna hear about his seven solo tackles today either. Vegas, you’re better than that. Stats are for losers. Kirk often had seven tackles a game as well. Seven yards downfield and totally inconsequential. The RoBeast was awful today.(although he was prolly heald a half-dozen times). Needs to be on top of his game the next two weeks.
Raiders let one get away today.

Too many WR’s on this roster we should trade maybe Murphy for a viable CB, CJ is a joke.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:14 pm
Chris Johnson looks old and just got completely worked the entire game. It was sickening watching that collapse.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:15 pm
Hagan had a game and if you can’t see that you need to put your glasses on. D Moore is a stud! WTG! Tough loss but you looked great out there!

September 18th, 2011 at 2:16 pm
Armond,
I think Hagan and DHB should get equal “love”.
That’s all I’m saying.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:16 pm
Definately let one get away. I think too many missed tackles doomed us more than the DB’s alone. We had many chances to put this away and it just didn’t happen. A couple of gifts to the Bills by the refs, but the defense let us down.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:16 pm
Hagan is a stud would start him over the DHB.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:16 pm
Coaches coach, players play. When players are put in position to make plays and don’t make them, how can you blame the coach.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:17 pm
We had multiple opportunities to close the game though, if Tyvon Branch makes an INT, or McClain makes a tackle instead of tossing his body in random directions, or maybe if we get a sack, or pressure? Chris Johnson maybe hold on to his grab?
It was a collective effort on the defense.. and Nick Miller to let the game get away from us.
It’ll take our offense to score on every possession to win games with our defense playing the way they did.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:17 pm
35 pts on the road. Man, D has to step up and make those BIG plays. CJ pulls that ball in on the fade he had covered and thats game over. Gotta finish. Penalties again too. Straight gifts. Growing pains, I guess. Gotta get one of these next 2.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:18 pm
N. Miller is gone, they will bring up S. Moore. You heard it here first.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:19 pm
al davis’ def lost that game
September 18th, 2011 at 2:19 pm
It softens the heartache knowing our offense can play though.
I hope DHB was taking notes on the sideline man, that D. Moore (win or lose) made my afternoon.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:20 pm
we will have a damn good offense when murphy dhb ford and boss get back. we have depth and now they will sort themselves out. i feel this is the type of loss that will either make us kick azz or go in the tank. im callin a W in the next 3 games. we will be underdogs in all of them which is good. they need to earn what they get. winning is the only way to do that. all we have to do is fifnish games now and its done. this was jaxonville all over again. if im wrong then i never said this.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:20 pm
Buck,
I hear you, RoMac played like crap.
Just saying the whole D played like crap, why just point it all on him.
But he did seem gassed. The worst thing I saw was on the last drive, on the screen pass he was pushed 20 yards down the field and had a lot of quit in him.
Manned up at the end and broke up a few passes, and the final TD was not on him.
All in all though, a bad game for sure.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:20 pm
The only way my WHOLE EFIN WEEK won’t suck is if miller gets cut, chuck B fired, McClain admits he sucked and CJ is put on the chopping block. I won’t hold my breath so I expect to have a crappy week.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:20 pm
Didn’t Hagan get a holding penalty that nullified a 1st down and stopped a drive?I don’t remember that ever happening with DHB.Right now it seems they are pretty close to being the same player, but DHB has much more upside.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:20 pm

September 18th, 2011 at 2:22 pm

September 18th, 2011 at 2:22 pm
Def needed Lito Sheppard out there over 37. Wow what a mess of a game he had. Way too many mix-up’s in coverage, no pass rush or run defense…that second half was brutal to watch. We need to sign some help in that secondary and once again shore up that run d. Damn it.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:23 pm
So many times we could’ve sealed that win up and didn’t. The missed picks by CJ and Branch being the most obvious examples.
Bills made some nice adjustments at halftime but it looked like we came out acting like the game was over in the 2nd half. How do you give up 5 TDs in one half of play? Unbelievable. I don’t think we had a single stop in the second half. Not even a FG attempt. That’s really all you can point to in this one.
Nice job by Campbell. Great job by McFadden. Spectacular job by Moore — who was about to rip that ball away on the final hail mary and it would’ve been a TD if he did. Another bills defender gave him a shove just as he was about to rip it.
So close, so many times in this game.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:23 pm
For example, they were killing us all day on those quick slants and chuck rolls out the prevent defense. Are you kidding me? They marched right down the field in small chunks, bush league coaching.
And another thought. We don’t need Murphy.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:23 pm
THE THREE GLARING REASONS WE LOST:
Matt Giordano – Camp fodder, he is not NFL material. At least 3 huge tackling whiffs that I noticed resulted in big gains at crucial times. He needs to not just be benched, but cut from the team. Find his own way home from Buffalo.
Possible replacements: Jerome Boyd, Joe Porter, Mike Mitchell
Chris Johnson. – Obviously cannot play at this level anymore. He’s done, absolute liability back there now.
Possible Replacements: Demarcus Van Dyke, Chimdi Chekwa
Chuck “The Father of the Prevent” Breshnahan. No comment neccessary, his gameplan and scheme spoke for itself today. He needs to go NOW!
Possible Replacements: Rod Woodson, Mike Waufle, Greg Biekert
September 18th, 2011 at 2:24 pm
Vontaze from ASU is an interesting prospect.
Read a Sporting News article on him. Very immature, and almost kicked off the team for fighting with coaches, but as mean as they come.
His draft stock will definately slip due to his attitude, but a perfect Al pick.
Not eligible for next years draft though.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:25 pm
Branch, Boyd, McClain, Johnson = missed assignments, out of position, unsure what is happening on field, missed tackles, missed INTs, and the list goes on and on.
Just stupid.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:25 pm
Hagan did have that holding call but made up for it on the very next play for a huge reception.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:25 pm
Anybody get a count on how many 3rd down penalties and how many in the red zone?
September 18th, 2011 at 2:25 pm
McClain just had a horrible game. He’ll be aiight. That short layoff and flight across the country obviously had it’s effect on him. CJ has no excuse, and Giordano looked lost a week after looking spectacular. We need Mitchell back soon so the Branch/Mitchell/Huff rotation is back in effect the way it needs to be.

September 18th, 2011 at 2:26 pm
Actually,Rivers doesn’t run the dink and dunk passing game and that is what we can’t stop.It doesn’t allow our line time to put any pressure on the QB-their strength, and puts the pressure on the CBs who aren’t up to the task.Rivers doesn’t worry me like Brady does.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:27 pm
Nick Miller has to go or at least join the ranks of the inactives. Put Taiwan Jones back there. Miller consistently failed to even get the ball back to the 20, looks hesitant and has made really bad decisions in back-to-back weeks.
I think he’s still an NFL caliber player who can bounce back and stick around in this league, but we have too many explosive weapons to have him as our return guy.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:28 pm
Really poor tackling on too many plays. Multiple chances at or behind the LOS that went for chunks of yardage.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:28 pm
there are some moments that made me uncomfortable in this game. i felt it was important that we get a quick stop on defense when up 21-3 right before halftime. there was enuff time to drive down the field and get atleast 3 if not 7 to make it 24-3 or 28-3. we let them drive down the field and they missed a fg. it was great they missed it but that was the time to put the game away. cj stupid penalty right out of the 3rd qtr set the tone. dmc fumble stalled a good drive but there was some plays before that we missed. on the 3rd down throw to meyers he had 1 guy to beat and couldnt do sh!t. he let small azz byrd make a shoestring tackle. he had a ton of yards to get on that. then there was the 3rd down completion to hagan on that all out blitz. he had dmc wide open over the middle with nobody near him for what wouldve been a 70 yd td. i was surprised jc didnt see that. add on the dropped ints on the last drive and the drop by branch in the endzone that went for a td and that was the game. we left 2 many plays out on the field to win. this game shouldnt have even been close. we are close yet so far away.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
Nick Miller will be with JLH soon enough.

Hail Mary to end Raiders-Bills was reviewed
Posted by Mike Florio on September 18, 2011, 5:19 PM EDT
When the Raiders-Bills game ended with a Hail Mary pass that was intercepted by Bills defensive back Da’Norris Searcy, the CBS coverage ended, the players left the field, and the game was over.
Or was it?
Unknown to the fans at home, the replay booth called for a review. It’s spelled out in the official play-by-play posted at NFL.com.
Fortunately for the Bills (and unfortunately for the Raiders), the play was upheld, presumably because of the absence of indisputable visual evidence to overturn the call on the field.
If there had been such evidence, everyone would have gotten a major shock, minutes after the game presumably has ended. As it stands, the game-winning touchdown reception goes to David Nelson of the Bills (pictured).
The subject of whether plays that fall within the jurisdiction of the replay booth will or won’t be reviewed is something at which we’ll be taking a closer look in the Monday 10-pack, and possibly during the Eagles-Falcons postgame show.

Let’s save the draft talk, please. We’re two games into the season and a break away from being 2-0. Let’s see how this plays out. May need to win one of the next two tough ones to have some momentum and confidence after the first quarter of the season.

It kills me how the commentators kept emphasizing that we were without our 3 best WR’s…fact is, our 3 best overall WR’s were ON THE FIELD. You could argue Ford is in the top 3, so be it. That’s debatable. But DHB and Murph are not starting WR material.
It just bothers me to no end that DHB will be stealing snaps again as soon as he is healthy.
Rolando McClain, again, played an absolutely awful game.
Matt Giordano and Nick Miller: don’t even belong in the league
Time to move Huff back to FS…even though I really like how covers the crossing routes that traditionally kill us.
September 18th, 2011 at 2:43 pm
Vegas,
By no means am I saying he’s to be singled out for blame. There is plenty to go around when you blow a 21-3 halftime lead and surrender 35 2nd half points.
He is the captain of the defense. The quarterback if you will, AND one of my favorite Raiders. I said it many times today…I think he’s gonna be a good…if not great one. That’s why today’s performance kills me. Semi-pros like Dakota and RRS are constantly bagging on the guy. Today he deserved it.
He was horrible. He missed so many tackles in the open field. Filled the wrong gap…especially on that first big 35 yard run.
However, he wasn’t alone and doesn’t deserve to be singled out. CJ37 struggled all day. He could’ve atoned for his miserable day…with a game sealing INT. I guess you gotta give the Buffalo WR credit for breaking that up.
Giordano…who looked like a world beater vs Denver, fell back to earth today. Whiffed on some open field tackles. Even the defensive leader and the heartbeat of the team Seymour (with his sore ribs) let one get away. Read the screen perfectly…but couldn’t make the tackle.
Heart Breaking. The defensive performance as a whole. I guess personally I expect so much more from RoMac, that it was just really disapointing.
I hope they take their frustrations out on the NY Jets. Gonna be a tough one. They let this one slip away today.

Buck,
Preaching to the choir.
I am wearing a white 55 jersey as I type. I had many “WTF is McClain doing” moments today.
But the whole D played like crap, and McClain had some decent moments sprinkled amongst the crap. Giordano, CJ37 and plenty of others can’t even say that.
Even a few of the missed tackles, were way in the backfield that still disrupted the play.
But fact is, he has to play waaaaay better than he did today.

Just saw they reviewed that play for 9 and a half minutes. The broadcast was long over. Players getting set to go. Head official came out and announced that the play was upheld to about 2,000 people.
I don’t have a problem with upholding that play. There was simultaneous posession for a moment — and that goes to the offensive player for a TD — but it wasn’t that clear and they were wrestling for it until Moore got shoved off the ball by another player in the scrum. If Moore doesn’t get shoved off there, I think we win the game on that hail mary.

I still think that last play of the game was simultanious possesion. Both players were on the ground with possesion of the football, the play is over as both players are on the ground. Simultanious possesion goes to the offense and it what happens after the play doesn’t matter. The play was over before the defender pulled the ball away. The official stood there looking at the play for two or three seconds, and waited until the defensive player pulled the ball away, but the play should have already been over before he made that call.

Once you’re out of the “just trust uncle Al’s camp” everything coming out of Alameda is frickin bizarre. Not emotionally invested in this team so it doesnt hurt as much when we lose. Will be a strange year for sure. The next 2 games will be make or break for the season.

lefty i know what u r saying but he did what i thought he would do. lets put the people where they best fit.ive seen enuff of miller as a return man. his slip up just finalized it. he has no balance or quickness. he gets no yards and isnt a threat. put moore and jones on punts and keep ford for ko’s when he comes back. we may need to sign banta-cain for an extra pass rusher. we arent fast enuff like ive said for a few years now. all we need to do is tweak the player roles for this team and we wil win and win pretty.we have the talent to do it but dont always maximize it. lets get this sh!t 2gether and beat the jets.

It’s Chuck B’s unit so he receives part of the blame, just like all the players on the defensive unit share the blame! Simple!
Branch and CJ should have had picks to seal the deal, they failed.
Chuck B didn’t blitz enough and did not make enough adjustments with the Bills short passing game.
If Fitz did that versus Chuck B and the defense, what is Brady going to do?

Cam Newton broke the NFL record for most passing yards in their first two NFL games. Who held the record for almost 15 years??
Todd Marinovich.
If Andy Dalton wins this game, he will tie the rookie record for winning first two starts of his career. Who holds the record??
Ryan Leaf.

The defense takes the primary blame. Didnt help that the offense didnt control the ball in the second half. Defense looked tired out there.
Bad Tackling, no answer for Fred Jackson.
Not enough pressure on the QB
Buffalo played mistake free the second half.. we didnt. We turned the ball over and had big penalties.
After all that, this game could have been won by making one more play. There were a lot of plays that would have made the difference.
Kudos to Campbell. He threw a number of jump balls to Moore. Havent seen him show that confidence in any of the other WRs. Used McFadden well as his outlet. Campbell didnt turn the ball over until the final hail mary. Offensive line needs to improve pass protection on 3rd downs. If McFadden hangs onto that ball, our offense wins the game.
Cant say anybody played well on defense. Seymour and Huff playing injured didnt help. There is a reason why Routt and Johnson are two of the most penalized corners in the NFL. We teach our corners to mug the receivers. Asomugha even did a lot of it but he also covered well enough not to get the ball thrown his way. Cant say the same for Routt or Johnson. I’d complain more about the pass D except that the run D was even worse. McClain has yet to play a game like a run stuffing MLB.
September 18th, 2011 at 3:11 pm
D@mn we lost today because we did not have DHB to run decoy!!!!
Now you haters see how important he is to this team!

LMAO!!!
September 18th, 2011 at 3:11 pm
What I saw was a defense with tired legs, something you’d expect from a guy like Seymour, but not something you’d expect from the younger guys like McClain.
I love that Moore and JC hooked up for the long late to go ahead because now every future opponent has to fear that, but I was saying to everyone watching the game with me that we needed to use the run and short passes to use the clock and score, leaving them with no time to go 80 yards for a td to win.
I know that a coach can’t always do things that way, but Hue had to know that a quick strike with over 4 minutes to go was going to leave them with all kinds of time to go ahead, eat the clock, and work on our awful defense.
It was a horrid display on defense, on both the players and on the co-ordinator. Bresnahan is always a guy who re-acts too late to things. He will never change.
Seymour was hurting. We have a mediocre d-line when Seymour is out or hurting, a mediocre group of lb’s and a mediocre secondary. In order to win, at least one of those groups has to excel in a game while the others don’t do worse than average. Today, all were poor, and the calling of blitzes came too late. You need to establish early in the game that you will blitz. Wait until they know you have to and you’ve waited too late. The never-knowing when it’s coming like early in the first quarter even, make the opposing QB do things that lead to fumbles, interceptions, and poor decisions. We have never been good at deception in our defenses, never, never, never, not even in our glory years.
All things said, we do have some real players on offense and we should applaud that. I do believe the defense will improve. I never believed we were headed to the Super Bowl, guys; I just want to see improvement toward getting to the playoffs. Hue has delivered on offense. Way to go Hagan. Lots of points scored. The fumble by DMAc came on a lucky hit from behind. Those kinds of fumbles can’t be helped–luck plays a part in that.
I’d like to see more defensive players going in and out next week.

I don’t understand this DHB vs Hagan back and forth. The purse swinging is getting vicious. I guess it’s the bootlickers vs The AD meddles and ruins everything crowd. I just don’t get it.
Hagan has clearly played his way onto the roster..in preseason and defenitely today. The guy is going to be a factor in the WR rotation. And deservedly so.
However, DHB seems like a much improved player as well. Don’t discount his clutch catches late in the game on monday night. DHB, as controversial as he is, can still be a breakout player. Don’t throw him under the bus just yet. This, his 3rd season is critical.
The answer is obvious to me. Nick Miller, the roster spot killer should be left behind. Don’t even let him on the plane. Hell, put him in a barrel and throw him over Niagra Falls, for all I care.
Hell, Murphy might even be trade bait. What was once a glaring weakness on this roster, is now a position of strength.
A good problem to have, IMO. DMoore= STUD. Hagan looks like a playmaker. Chaz…if only he could stay healthy…exciting potential. Big bodied WR. Chain Mover. Jacoby Ford=PLAYMAKER. DHB looks much improved.
The WR rotation will sort itself out. Right now, it should be the least of our worries, unfortunately.

—————————————————-
Buckeye raider nice post. I will be honest I love to hear the arguing about the WR rotation because we never had a chance to do it. I think they all have upside and it is exciting.
I am more concerned about the defense than anything else. Our line can dominate but still not consistant aginst the run and our DBs for man to man are always to many steps behind. No one fears our DBs in the entire league.
Oh yeah almost forgot……NICK MILLER SUCKS!!!! WASTE OF SPOT!
September 18th, 2011 at 3:23 pm
We have to give Soup credit today….great game by him and Moore.
September 18th, 2011 at 3:23 pm
Defense was tired in the 2nd half?
What was the point of them even coming out of the locker room after the half.
There wasn’t even a defense on the field.
Chuck B, Branch, CJ, Seymour, Kelly, Houston, Ro-Mac all played like utter CHIT today and it cost the team a win!
September 18th, 2011 at 3:23 pm
The safety and linebackers were pulled from protecting the middle of the field countless time before the winning touchdown. You would think there would be a bait play that would seem like the middle was open and the have someone drop back in the middle!!! This one hurts and hurts bad!!!!
Don’t expect much mercy for playing a hard fight game on any sport shows. To them the Raiders lose another game they were suppose to lose.
September 18th, 2011 at 3:24 pm
We’re not good enough against the spread offense. Denver started moving the ball with the spread and the Bills killed us today. This may get ugly against NE. Later gents.

Chucky B should be killed for the coverages he was calling on the final drive..I say al fires his **s and promotes Rod Woodson to D cord. There is a reason he hasn’t been the league the past couple years, and he showed why today.
September 18th, 2011 at 3:25 pm
The coach is at fault for not making ANY noticable adjustments they beat him up to no end…good what do you think the jets, NE , or SD are going to do thats right Turkey time lets carve him up…

Romo out with rib fracture.
September 18th, 2011 at 3:26 pm

Kitna got a touchdown, but they put the busted up QB in who has been horrible. How come the Raiders never play teams like this?
September 18th, 2011 at 3:27 pm
Well i gotta definitely hang this one on the defense today. They played lights out in the first half and then for whatever reason they came out in the second half and completely melted down. All the old skeletons came out of the closet. The penalties, the turnovers, the dumb bad luck just all hits at once and you’re left stunned saying what the f*** just happened? I guess the jury is still out on our pass defense- we just got torched in the second half. No pressure up front all day finally bit us in the behind.
Man this one hurt…..
Oh well we will bounce back next week and beat the jets…
It’s still early folks, let’s not jump off the ledge yet
GO RAIDERS!!!

****I THINK YOU ALL DON’T GET IT.*****
READ THE HEADING OF THE LAST BLOG POST.
GOOD TEAMS DONT BLOW A GAME WHERE THEY ARE LAEADING AT THE HALF 21-3. THIS TEAM CHOKED BOTTOM LINE. WE WILL NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS BLOWING LEADS LIKE THAT.
AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED FAN OR NOT WE ARE AVERAGE UNTIL WE START TO WIN. BUT THER IS NO EXCUSE FOR LOSING A GAME WHEN YOU ARE UP 21-3 AT THE HALF. THIS IS AN AVERAGE TEAM.
September 18th, 2011 at 3:28 pm
They need to beat the Jets in the home opener and put consistent pressure on Dirty Sanchez, if they don’t beat the Jets….the Pats will pick Chuck B and this leaky vanilla defense apart at the Coliseum, becauee Brady will spread it out consistently like he spreads his hot womans legs consistently!! haha
September 18th, 2011 at 3:29 pm
Method if our D plays like this it will be A loss to the Jets, Brady will pick us apart along with Shaub. Hopefully Routt is on Johnson and not CJ.

Buckeye Raider,
I think the DHB Hagan debate has merit, because it sheds light on what kind of decisions are being made for the team. It was clear that Campbell had much more confidence throwing the ball to Moore and Hagan (even though a couple of those were “too ” confident and could have easily been intercepted)..we also know that he’s not afraid to “let it loose” when throwing to Ford.
This matters because how many times last year did we scream at Campbell “Get rid of the ball!!!”….A lot of a QB’s decision in making certain throws is whether or not he trusts a receiver to MAKE THE PLAY.
Our offense is simply a little better with DHB, Murph, and N Miller on the bench!!!
September 18th, 2011 at 3:31 pm
Buffalo punted TWICE the wgole game. The Raiders defense sucked the whole game, not just the second half. They got some lucky breaks in the first half. Buffalo could have added another 14 points. Remember the last time chuck b was the Oakland DC, Bill Callahan called the raiders the dumbest team in America. Maybe its a coaching issue, just saying.
September 18th, 2011 at 3:31 pm
Time to move Nick Miller on to the Broncos.
Time to change the D-Fense coordinator?
Who can the Raiders get to update the defense?
September 18th, 2011 at 3:32 pm
Al davis is still stuck on Man to Man, limited blitzes, the front four applying pressure.
September 18th, 2011 at 3:33 pm
It’s been 9 years now since the Raiders started 2-0.
September 18th, 2011 at 3:34 pm
On the bright side we are still in 1st place going into week 3
September 18th, 2011 at 3:37 pm
Don’t give me this Nnamdi, crap. We blew a 13-point lead in the final 6 minutes in Buffalo 3 years ago with him on the field.
September 18th, 2011 at 3:37 pm
I knew somebody would say we are still in first place. If you were a chiefs fan would you say you’re only 1 game out of first place? That’s a loser mentality.
September 18th, 2011 at 3:37 pm
Man to man and then when they play zone it’s a soft zone and they might as well be in a prevent! Unreal!
They need to sign Lito Sheppard, so he can takeover for crappy Boyd and he can play the nickel and also be a spot starter possibly.
Only reason Miller is still around is because Ford is hurt. Moore needs to return the punts also!

September 18th, 2011 at 3:43 pm
49ers are about to start 2-0, just like Buffalo and Washington. Some lousy franchises can win; just not Al Davis and his losing Raiders.

Guys, this was Ryan freakin’ Fitzpatrick absolutely shredding and demoralizing this piece of sccchyt defense. Whaddya think Brady and Rivers are gonna do to it?
September 18th, 2011 at 3:47 pm
If you watch games as I have, there is contact after 5 yards on so many plays you would lose count. As a matter of fact, D. Revis of the NYJ gets away with it often. I just not like the all hands off approch the refs often apply to the Raiders DB’S on crucial plays.

This blown game reminds me of the blown Jaguar game last year, not the sloppy azz Zona game.
The defense blew that game last year, just they blew this one.
Old man Al fires Marshall for the Jags and Miami losses last year and hires Chuck B to basically to the same thing in this Bill game, if not worse??
Ugh…Oooff! What a joke!

We have the dumbest coaches in America for sure.
Cases in point:
-Up 16-3 at halftime against Denver and we barely hold on to win. If Bush doesn’t get those first downs we lose..period.
-Up 21-3 against the Bills at halftime. We know what happened.
Point: Other coaches ADJUSTED at the half and outsmarted and outschemed our cast of idiots led by blowhard “bully” maker Hue Jackson.
Until Al decides to hire a REAL coaching staff, we will continue to get outsmarted and outschemed by suprerior coaching staffs.
