Raiders-Jets game sold out, will be televised locally

The Raiders confirmed a short time ago that Sunday’s game against the New York Jets has sold out, and it will be televised locally. This is the Raiders regular-season home-opener. Only one home game was televised locally each of the past two seasons.

RRS, Never said CJ was the reason we lost, just said he sucks.
I wish he played all pro calibre but he doesn’t. If he’s bothered by the groin injury still, he didn’t look to be in any pain or slowed by it. But I’ll give him the benfit of the doubt.
I still would rather give DVD a chance and see what he can do. ESPECIALLY if CJ is hampered by this injury.

the Raiders needed a corner in the draft, so DVD wasn’t a wasted pick – but the guy was drafted because of his 40 time. Does anybody debate that?
Chekwa is closer to being a football player, but he missed WAY too much time in the offseason injured to be counted on this early in the season. Especially in the Raiders man2man system. Maybe next year he’ll be ready with a full offseason to prepare and a clean bill of health

I’m worried about Taiwan getting hurt on mostly nothing plays. Remember a guy named Tim Brown, he got hurt returning kickoffs. You use non-essential people for that, not a guy you have hopes for in the future, or a Jacoby Ford until or unless it is a playoff game or must win.
Lay off DHB, I know how bad his rookie season was, but watch the tape, he is not the same guy from then. Remember, Cliff Branch was not good his first few years, either. I always liked Biletnikoff better, but Branch has HOF #’s , ’specially when you consider he played during the RB era and a 200 yard passing game was pretty good.
