The difference between the NFL and NCAA right there for Cam.
3rd and 2, in college they go shotgun snap, designed QB run and push the pile for a 1st down. Guys like Cam, Tebow and others did this and always converted.
Carolina just tried it, and he got flattened for a 1 yard loss.

Al Davis never doubted Asomugha’s value. He just said he could get 3 quality players for that money. So I could see if Al said, “he’s not that good”, and it turned out he wasn’t. As far as Al knew, Nnamdi was good. Al just couldn’t afford him.

Sorry guys, but our defense is just tooooooo awful. This is just a continuation of the Buffalo game. EVERYTIME the opponent gets the ball they score a TD. You CANNOT win that way.

yes that was a good pass to Bush but I sincerely hope a starting QB in this league can have more than 1 good pass per game. DMAC carried the day today and anyone who denies that is blind. We had 3 consecutive 3 and outs and 4 non scoring drives in a row until DMAC ran for 70 to the house. DMAC’s big plays proved to be the diff maker. But hey JC is da man. DHB did a good things on the field….first of all he had some good blocks, he got a couple of PIs and the Jets felt it necessary to put Revis on him.
This was a great team win anyway you want to say it.
Defense was a up and down…but they set the tone in the 3rd Qtr that helped the offense grab the lead.
This was a very good character win for this football team.

What I LOVE about this win…is that they took it to a physical football team. They absolutely took it to them…they ran at will, threw at will and the defense dominated the Jets o-line and SHUTDOWN the run.
Sure, there is stuff to clean up…especially on defense…but its about winning football games and getting off to a great start

I gotta give it up. I doubted that the Raiders could win, more surprised at the way they won.
HueJack reached in to his bag of tricks and called a very exceptional game.
The defense stills makes too many mistakes and mistackles, but it was surprising to see the front four come alive.
Chekwa is a definite keeper.

DMAC completely destroyed the Jets gameplan today. His big plays pretty much took them away from their ground and pound and forced them into throwing. That allowed the best part of our D to just get after the QB. Best RB in the league by far.

In the first half there were a lot of bad play calls, a lot of lousy throws by Campbell and a lot of lousy tackles by the defense.
They picked it up in the second half though, the defence made some good adjustments and the team played better over all.
The offence didn’t have a penalty in the first half
at all.
If you were to pick one guy who won the game it’s McFadden–our best back since Marcus Allen.

We matched up pretty well with the Jets. They had their center out and the 28th running offense.
What we needed was a lot of crowd noise and it was a sell out.
