Palmer enters with Raiders down 21-0

By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Sunday, October 23rd, 2011 at 2:58 pm in Oakland Raiders.

The logic goes something like this _ Carson Palmer wasn’t ready to start, but he’s good enough to attempt to bring the Raiders back from a 21-0 deficit with 10:25 left in the third quarter.

That’s what three interceptions and a stagnant offense will do for you, with Hue Jackson making the switch following a 7-yard run by Javier Arenas to put the Raiders down by 21.

Palmer put on his helmet and was warming up during the Chiefs scoring drive.

Why is Boss not getting any throws?
    ———–
Boss has disappeared the last three games.

  • morilla

The D has played well. This isn’t on them.

  • djohnnyg

    What is wrong with McFadden?

  • JB

    What a throw!

  • Just Fire Baby

I checked out for a minute, but any of you MM34 lovers want to explain his effort on the Arenas TD?

He looked completely disinterested in attempting a tackle.

  • SnB offense defense specialteams

The linebacker for the Chiefs was doing his job on Bush…he was getting clean low hits on the guy. He wasn’t taking him high at all.

Running game is not why the team is in the hole today.

Its because Kyle Boller is one of the top 10 bust QBs of all time…and has played his last game

  • morilla

3 ints in the first half. That says it all.

  • djohnnyg

We’re not winning this game. May as well give Palmer some reps. i guess.

    4-3

    Golden opportunity pissed away.

  • GForce21

If its turf toe again for DMAC, its going to be a huge problem for our offense.

someone on twitter earlier said training staff was evaluating McFadden’s ankle before he went in to get checked.

Count me as a Bush fan.

  • jmcclain

Hue been doing press confrences all week instead of getting this team prepared. Looks like a raider team coached by cable. This game is totally on hue period.

  • SnB offense defense specialteams

    Unapologetically so.

Bush is a good running back.

  • olinesux

hue hue hue blew this game

  • djohnnyg

I blame the D for having them pinned at the 3 yd. line and letting ‘em march down the field.

Yes, the offense sucks today too.

  • JB

    That’s more like it

  • PlunkforHOF

Soup out, DMAC out, McClain out, ShoNasty out, Reece out, what can we expect?

  • djohnnyg

  • PlunkforHOF

    Oh God

  • SilverAndBlackBleeder

now that’s the Carson Palmer I know…..good grief, he could’ve at least looked before he threw

  • http://www.wasRaider75.com wasbanned

Palmer got lazy. has to make that read.

  • djohnnyg

    Nice throw Palmer.

    Total f’ing disaster game.

  • jmcclain

Does everyone undestand how important cambell is to this team now.

    yep

  • RaiderDebo

Hmmmm. Gives credence to the idea that all of Palmer’s interceptions last year were the fault of “lazy” routes by TO and Ocho. Whatever.

  • Pretty Rick

    (sigh)

  • jmcclain

    Im done

  • raidermigraine

I can’t believe we’re being shut out by the Queefs. At home. Disaster!

  • Pretty Rick

I think we can just chalk this up to KC wanting revenge for the beatdowns we put on them all last year. They circled this game along time ago and they showed up to play. We’ll go into the bye 4-3,,allow Carson to really take over and comeback sharper from here on out.

  • djohnnyg

Chalk it up to our top rb being out and not having a qb as well.

  • djohnnyg

    What the hell Denarious?

    C’mon.

  • CVRaider

The best offensive player for the Raiders right now is DHB (WITH DMAC being hurt). That is why they have a big ZERO on the board. Pathetic.

  • CVRaider

I feel bad for the bay area fans, you can expect a blackout for the remaining home games.

  • StayinBlack

    Fcuk that Chiefs are garbage
