Raiders work out six players
By Steve Corkran
Monday, November 14th, 2011 at 4:53 pm in Oakland Raiders.
Six players went through a brief workout after the Raiders completed their practice Monday. None was signed as of this afternoon.
Coach Hue Jackson declined to get into specifics about who any of the players were. That’s in keeping with the Raiders custom. They rarely, if ever, discuss players who aren’t under contract.
Therefore, I canvassed the locker room and introduced myself to five of the players to find out who they are. I wasn’t able to track down the sixth player before he exited the locker room.
I discovered that five of the players worked out were: cornerbacks Jamar Wall, David Pender, Mikail Baker and Bryan McCann, as well as linebacker Scott McKillop.
McKillop spent time with the 49ers before he blew out a knee in training camp in 2010. Wall was with the Philadelphia Eagles last season. Baker was with the St. Louis Rams before he suffered an injury. McCann most recently was with the Baltimore Ravens.

Beeecham, you can be my dirty white trash boy. You are always bragging about bjs, but you haven’t had the best till you get one from a guy.

Cork is doing his job!

What I hope to see transpire in tonight’s game:
A. Triple OT
B. Matthews lays a hit on AP that makes him tweak a knee, knocks him out 3 weeks
C. Jared Allen, in obvious retaliation for the AP hit, Dives at Aaron Rodgers Knee and knocks him out for 6 weeks
D. Jared Allen gets suspended for next weeks game for dirty hit on Rodgers
E.. Roger Goodell also suspends Clay Matthews till after the Raiders game for initiating the dirty hits to set an example.
forgot to add two more items on my curse list:
F. Ponder struggles, Mcnabb takes over and leads them to victory…named starter for Raiders game,
G. Leslie Frazier gets fired midweek for losing locker room.

Good job Cork! You are my hero!

That’s pretty funny that Brian the Genital is a blog nerd’s “little chocolate boyfriend”.
Guess that feminine figure of his – that his mom hysterically told him was like an NFL cornerback or wide receiver – finally paid off.
Hope you’re happy in love, Genital!
So I’m getting ready for my DJ set at the Ritz pool and this totally smoking Korean chick with fake knockers buys me a plate of curly fries and slips a Magnum in the dipping sauce.
Pretty soon we’re humping in one of the private cabanas, thankfully I dropped the extended remix of Brian Adams Run to You on the turntable before I got my swerve on.

November 14th, 2011 at 5:04 pm
this just in…breaking news…if dah Raiduhs c’ain’t win over Ponder and Matt Moore den dey ain’t but puke.
y’all fellas and ladies do understand that the Silver and Black have not only an elite running attack, with or without McFootInjury, but they also now for the first time in 30 years have an elite passer.
O-line is a force.
D-up and its done.

Why can’t you just respect their privacy?
Maybe Hue wants to have a competitive advantage by not naming these players?
This whole idea that just because your a journalist you are entitled to information I just cant grasp it.
I see why Al Davis was so secretive.

Glad the D reappeared last Thursday, but no game is a gimme until they show some major improvement and consistency.
Speaking of last Thursday, aren’tcha glad we didn’t spend a lotta coin for V-Jax? What the fudge was that weak effort that allowed Giordarno to snag the INT? Absolutely horrible.

Never heard of any of these bums….waste of time even mentioning them.
November 14th, 2011 at 5:12 pm
Full disclosure: I would have been on board with handing him a big paycheck.

Amazing how the entire bspn crew is on A-Rods sack talking about him playing better than anyone ever. Last I checked he is not on pace to break any records this year, other than qb rating, an overrated stat….Drew Brees is on pace to pass for 6000 yards and no mention of it by espn…
Another amazing and SAD statistic:
The Raiders chose to draft CB Fabian Washington instead of A-Rod in 05 draft.
I will say this, that pick was worse than the Jacarcass pick.
November 14th, 2011 at 5:30 pm
only guy I’ve heard of is McCann, from playing Madden with the Ravens. Should sign him just for that.
November 14th, 2011 at 5:31 pm
As for the Packers being toast if Rodgers goes down…Matt Flynn looked great a few years ago playing vs the Patriots.
November 14th, 2011 at 5:32 pm
JR
and we NEEDED a QB in 05! We had Kerry Collins leading us to 21st in the NFL in offense, with little Tui backing him up.

Evening nation
I think we are going for a ride all the way to the show. II think we made the steal of the century when we got Palmer. And I think his best years are in front of him.@@@
November 14th, 2011 at 5:35 pm
Our Drafts have been good the last 2, so hoepfully no more Fabien washingtons, jacarcass picks and reachs like Mike Huff and DHB (Although i like any current raider)
November 14th, 2011 at 5:36 pm
Great video Raider Mike, enjoyed it sir.
November 14th, 2011 at 5:36 pm
when we learn how to stop the run more often than once a month, I’ll have super bowl dreams.
Right now, I’m just excited we’ll be playing meaningful games in December.
November 14th, 2011 at 5:41 pm
Some pundits will say that A-rod would not have flourished in the Raiders offense had we drafted him, but who is to say Al would not have built a team around him and Moss would have actually played like the Randy in NE, I guess we can only dream and speculate, although right now I feel the current Raiders offense has more weapons than any NFL team including the Packers.
November 14th, 2011 at 5:44 pm
Wow…Dwow must be licking his chops seeing the vikes pathetic special teams effort
November 14th, 2011 at 5:44 pm
Yup…. the time is now.. and in the future…
November 14th, 2011 at 5:45 pm
