McFadden, Ford, Seymour and McClain not practicing

Wide receiver Denarius Moore returned to practice today after missing all of last week, as well as the game against the Chicago Bears.
The news isn’t as encourgaing for running back Darren McFadden (foot), receiver Jacoby Ford (foot), running back Taiwan Jones (hamstring), defensive tackle Richard Seymour (knee) and middle linebacker Rolando McClain (foot). All five are not at practice.
However, Ford is at least on the field, running from one side of the end zone to the other. He said Monday that he didn’t plan on practicing today but might give it a shot Thursday.
Fullbacks Marcel Reece and Mansae Tonga are practicing without any obvious effects from recent injuries. That gives the Raiders the prospect of having both fullbacks at full strength for the first time in awhile.
Even though Moore is back at practice, T.J. Houshmandzadeh is the one fielding punts. That likely is just in case Moore suffers a setback this week or aggravates his injury Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
Three officials are working practice today, as has been the custom all season. The Raiders committed only six penalties for 44 yards against the Bears on Sunday.
The Raiders still are on pace to break the NFL record for most penalties (158) and penalty yards (1,304) in a season.
Cornerback Chimdi Chekwa posted on Twitter today that he is going to get his shoulder fixed once and for all. He supposedly was placed on injured reserve because of a lingering hamstring issue. Perhaps he is just addressing the shoulder issue as long as he has the time.

Specifics related to injury update……McClain and Seymour will play Sunday, just banged up and resting…Again, JFord and DMAC will be 100% healthy for week 13….The call is on Hue if they play….DMAC is getting examined today to see if there is any swelling or residual effects from yesterdays light work out…DMoore will be fully loaded for dolphins game….JMoss receiving treatment for hamstring injury…..At this point, today, I will stick with Campbell, Moss, Campbell inactive for week 13…….Hey, 20, I think I am really starting to feel it, today…..CODE BLACK AND SILVER……RAIDERS…..

Remember that Reece was never a full back he was a reciever. It takes a real special or crazy type of person to play full back at any level. The Raiders have done a really good job of turning him into something that no one has seen before. I think as time goes on his lead blocking will improve.

Baum — Let’s not say rushing, per se…let’s just say I don’t like the threat of an all-around (running/receiving) RB like Reggie Bush. He’s the kind we can hold for 30-yards on 11-carries, then let him bust a 70-yard sweep or swing pass.

I agree, but I think R Bush strength is the screen game, which we are good at, and i just think if he has a good game it will be like 15 carries for 50 yards and 3 passes for 50 yds and a TD. If he has a game like this we will win easily IMO. If he has like 8 Rec for 120 and more than 20 carries, i think we are in trouble but i don’t think it will be like that.

Actually, I think women of this generation have looked at men like Jamista Clown and realized they would be MUCH better off economically, socially, and ethically if they just raised kids by themselves. Exactly. This is a much better Miami team than their record indicates. Defensively, they are a good team. And any offensive line with Jake Long and Mike Pouncey is going to be tough to crack. Their secondary is also very good. Matt Moore is also better than advertised. The one plus we have is Moore is not quite the threat to take off that Ponder, Teblow and Hanie are. That being said, Q’s running has been such a problem, you can expect Moore to take off and still get 5 yards a pop.

I understand basic podiatry. I also understand 2-3 weeks for really bad sprains. I also understand he was hurt Oct 23rd.
I also understand Hue said there was “no structural damage”.
There are 3 degrees of mid foot sprain. 1st degree. Sprained and brusied. Prog? 2 wks.
2nd degree. Partial or some tearing 3-4 weeks
3rd degree completely torn. Can take up to two months.
If DMC suffered “no structural damage” thats a hell of a simple sprain especially with “no structural damage.”

There’s a couple of things that stand out about them, they are down in the turnover battle and their offense is pedestrian at best. But now that they have both Reggie Bush and Matt Moore, their offense has come to life. They still have a rookie at center. What that means is it is time for Kelly and Seymour to school his ass. And Moore not being incredibly mobile, he is a bit of a target back there.
