McFadden, Jones, and Ford gone for the season….there goes my $20, 45-1 odds, Super Bowl victory bet. At least it only cost me $22. This Oakland mess is going to cost some folks their jobs at the end of this season, probably starting with Jackson, and working their way down the list. Hopefully the second will be defense, because I don’t think they can stop the deaf, dumb, and blind school at high noon in the bright sunlight.

the Lions have the 27th ranked run defense, allowing 136 rushing yards per game. only 5 yards per game better than Oakland.

However, they’ve only allowed 9 rushing TD’s this season where Oakland has allowed 14
