Darrius Heyward-Bey was stripped after a 29-yard catch and run deep in Detroit territory and lost a fumble at the 8-yard line on the second-to-last play of the quarter.
The Lions got three yards on first down to the 11 as the scoreless quarter ended.
Quarterback Carson Palmer is 27 of 32 for 313 yards, Heyward-Bey has nine receptions for 146 yards.

But the guy is looking like a legit #1 receiver today. And that gives me hope. He is exploiting the corners playing off of him and making them pay.
