Palmer trade was stupid. Raiders gave up a first and second pick for four wins. Any idiot should have known the raiders were not going to make it to the super bowl with that shockingly bad defense. If they really wanted Palmer then wait for the off season when you would be able to get him for a lot less. That trade has really hurt the raiders for the next 2 years or more. Just think if they did not make the trade they would have gotten no more than 6 wins and therefore a top 10 pick….That pick would have been a potential impact player!!! That trade was horrible. I would fire Hue just because that trade shows such bad judgment. He had a responsibility to the organization and he made the grade of an “F”. I will say he is a good offensive coordinator though.

With a full offseason and training camp, and (hopefully) healthier skill set players to work with, I think it’s fair to expect that Carson’s best football in S and B is yet to come.

Florio was on PFT saying a power struggle is going to ensue in Oakland if they dont work together quickly. A Todd Haley-Scott Pioli situation, and we know Jackson will chime in on the media a lot…going to be an interesting press conference on Tuesday.

If Hue isn’t willing or doesn’t want to work with McKenzie, that would be just a plain dumb move by Hue. He would lose his job as a head coach and he would go back and become a QB coach or OC again and never be given a shot as a head coach again?

Hue is on record saying he will work with any GM or Boss that has the same vision as he does and that is…..TO WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP.

McKenzie and his new personnel men and Hue need to focus on fixing some player contracts to create cap space, and deciding whether or not they want to switch D schemes to a 3-4 and which DC they need to bring in.
