For Haoli Ngata? In a heartbeat…but only if we ran a 3-4..if were still running the 4-3 what is the point..A?) and B) What other NT would you give up DHB for? We can’t keep dumping our first round picks for nothing..I have seen too many wild assed scenarios from people who want to dump our first rounders for a 3rd or a 4th round pick it makes me sick. Yeah, lets give up McFadden for a 2nd and a 5th rounder…WTF ever…

Amidst the doom and gloom pessimism resulting from the Raider implosion down the stretch and the dreadful state of the defense, it should be noted that there were some positive developments this season.

The emergence of DHB as a legitimate WR.

Wiz and DMoore played well and appear to be solid additions.

But the most important development was that the Raiders moved away from the bottom tier, scrub of a QB, Jason Campbell.

This was an essential move.

Whether or not Carson Palmer pans out remains to be seen.

There is deserved skepticism about the Palmer trade. There is a widespread belief that the Raids overpaid for Palmer and that he might ultimately fail to be the franchise QB the Raids desperately need – but the move away from Campbell was an absolute necessity.

Raider fans should hope that another NFL team is foolish enough to sign JC and give him significant playing time. We can use the compensatory pick.
