WR coach first to go from Raiders staff

The New York Jets hired Sanjay Lal to be their wide receivers coach, according to a report from NewYorkJets.com. Lal held that position with the Raiders the past five seasons.
Lal was well liked by the receivers he coached during his tenure in Oakland. He is credited with getting up to speed Jacoby Ford and Denarius Moore right away, as well as for the breakout season enjoyed by Darrius Heyward-Bey this season after two subpar seasons.
Lal, 42, could not be reached for comment. Interestingly, he still is listed on the Raiders website.

Here is a name I’m throwing out for HC

    Perry Fewell

He is the current DC for the NY Giants. He has served as DC on a few team and they have always done well statistically.

He also served as interim HC for the Bills to finish out 2009 season. He was 3-4 as a head coach.

He has been with the Giants since then.

Hope he is on Reggie’s radar.

If Giants get to/or win the Super Bowl this guy will get a shot to coach somewhere.

Has that defense playing great right now.

I can understand your distain for Gio,after all he was the only defensive player to actually make game changing plays regularly on our team. Not a burner.Didn’t lay guys out.Just a football player

Always appreciate your professional comments. This one is all about fundamentals.

  • I hope we get the real second in command of the GB coaching staff W Moss, and not that loser DC called Capers.
