    Palmer & Pryor= Roethlisberger & Kordel Stewart

    ***

    HB,

they were never on the same team at the same time.

KS left the Steelers for Chicago in 2003. BR was drafted in 2004

Meanwhile- Rodgers sat behind Favre for 3 full seasons. I can see that being the case with Palmer & Pryor. These guys were buddies last year and Pryor pretty much clung to him like a flea on a dog’s back. even weight lifting partners. I like it
    —————–
I’m aware thet weren’t on the same team, I wanted to give you a little more realistic view of T. Pryor. Believe me when I compare him to K.Stewart I’m being kind. I will go so far as to say I don’t think he is in Oakland’s plans at all now that Al is no longer with us. Don’t want to be a downer, Just don’t want you to be let down when Pryor doesn’t do anything special when it comes to the QB position. He has hope as an offensive threat, Just not as a starting QB in the NFL.

And we are sorry about that, hopefully you can find a job here and get back to the Bay Area!

I have been to Utah and it was like visiting another planet.

New drinking game. Take a shot everytime Reggie says the word “Guys”
    ————–
    It will replace “Obviously”
    ———————–
I noticed that coach Allen uses the word “obviously” quite a bit.

I think it would be huge to lure Campbell back. Assuming the system stays in tact with the retention of Saunders. We will never find a more capable/reliable QB than Campbell to come in, learn the system and be on the ready should something happen to Palmer. Palmer could go down just as quickly as Campbell did last season and without a trusted backup, our hopes of getting to the playoffs could be dashed once again!! Also, we dont have the luxury of draft picks this year. Our FA acquisitions need to focused more on defense than trying to find a #2 QB…

  • RaiderRockstar

OC could very easily be Eric Studesville … but I like Joe Lombardi or Aaron Kromer better

Could be the other guy from NO, though. Kromer has been rumored to be a candidate.

When I visited in law family there back in the 80′s it seemed much more rural then I’d imagined it would be.

This was in the Salt Lake city Area.

Very white. With converted Pacific Islanders.

    ET,

Kromer is a no nonsense guy. I think he’d mesh well with Allen, but I’m not aware if he has any X’s & O’s skills … you?

There will probably be a replay on the Raider sight or CSN.

Kromer has been coaching offense since 1990 – mainly OLine, RB & TE

to my knowledge, never been a play caller

I’m not crazy about a rookie play caller. (if true)

In Reggie and Dennis I will trust.

  • RaiderRockstar

Joe Lombardi was OC at Mercyhurst College in 2001, LOL

been coaching some offense, some defense – since 1996

  • realtruraider

So Allens going to let the DC call plays, looks like the DC hire just got a little more interesting

I was a JLH hater lol
I don’t “hate” Pryor, Just don’t see him as NFL starting QB. Wouldn’t mind seeing him run the option around the goal line or something.

Don’t know, Rockstar. Only repeating what I’ve heard and read about the guy. Payton has a heavy hand in that offense. Not sure how much of a role his o-line coach plays in the actual planning and implementation of that offense on game day. I think I read about Charmichael that he didn’t start calling plays until Payton hurt his leg and was confined to the booth. While Charmichael remained the primary playcaller after Payton came back, word was that Sean still made the calls at critical times.

Reminds me of something I read about the New England coaches, and why they tend to fail on their own. The prevailing thought is that Belichik relies relies more on his coaches for information than actual participation in gameplanning. They don’t make many decisions over there, and maybe aren’t as ready to do that on their own as they could be if they were more involved in that way.

love him or hate him Al’s pressers were better.
