That was someone else propping-up Pryor. But, if he’s right, we’re all better off for it. Pryor’s got athleticism…and he’s smarter than his last days at OSU would have us believe.

Hopefully Pryor will improve enough to be a #2-quality QB this year…if not, he should become the next Ronald Curry, beginning the Spring of 2013.

Good Post ! I say let’s put Pryor out there and see what he can do.

In his demo reel (notwithstanding bias involved in favor of Pryor) I saw Pryor make pass after pass after pass, all beautifully thrown into the receiver’s hands, necessitating no adjustment by the receiver at all, which were in flight from 50 to 60 yds. Plus Pryor runs like the wind, and is very evasive of the rush.

If Pryor has no potential as an NFL QB then we can always cut him.

DHB is a continuing disappointment. Due to lack of other receivers caused by injuries he was force fed the ball and gained some yards: 961 to be exact. But he only scored 3 TDs, and when crunch time came, DHB either dropped or whiffed on the ball and caused us to lose the game.

Jerry Rice, in his 3rd season gain 1031 yds with 16 TD’s, BTW.

DHB traps the ball with his body while making easy to average plays. If we retain him we will continue to be average in the WR dept: not factoring in Moore and Ford that is.

Burfict might not have the work ethic that DHB has. We know he’s got attitude on the field…will it be trouble off it? He could be good, but I don’t know he’ll be worth the hassles.

It took a few years, and nearly an unspeakable fate, before Ray Lewis settled down. Burfict just has the feel of a guy who can’t grow-up fast enough.

DHB was our most reliable WR last year, for sure. As clumsy as it looks sometimes. But, he needs to do something spectacular every now and then to get peoples’ attention now.

One or two incredible plays like DMoore makes, and everybody will start appreciating DHB’s more blue-collar-like efforts.

DHB may be on the verge of being great or he might just be Alvin Harper. Either way, he is showed good improvement and I too don’t understand Cork’s bias.

That being said, if we get Colston or V. Jackson, I’d trade him in heart beat for a 2nd and take Bufict.

Colston/Jackson along with Moore and Ford makes DHB expendable. Just like the hot chink in Rambo II.

In some respects DHB was one of our most reliable play makers last season. I would say that DHB along with jc and lil wiz where our most consistent players on offense. I certainly would not trade him for unproven college players, especially now when he is only just beginning to come into his own
