RM probably has the toughest job in the nfl right now .agreed if you dont win you lose your job .he must have some grace period ,no picks ,over the cap ,a defense that just leaves you speechless.i wonder if RM has ulcers yet

If you want to keep DMAC healthy, get a decent fullback with good hands and can block like Tom Rathman. One more offensive tackle as well. But the Fullback is the key to more yardage and longevity health wise.

The other concern is that by a total rebuild and another 2 or 3 losing seasons it doesn’t help the quest for a new stadium at all.

Nobody likes, or wants a loser no matter what promises of future success are attached and their are no gurantees a “rebuild” will result in eventual success..you’re still a loser until you PROVE otherwise.

If we were 4-12 last yr. i can see the wisdom in a total rebuild, but not with consecutive 8-8 teams and a basically young roster.

Mark needs to “sell” this team for anything to happen. How does he trot out some 4-12 team and say “hey, who wouldn’t a piece of this?” “We’ll be good someday I promise”.

DMAC’s foot is still such a question mark. Without him and Bush leaving in free agency, that’ll be a huge hole in the offense. Palmer is another year older, has to learn a new offense late in his career. Needs to cut down on the picks. Who knows if he progresses or regresses next year. It’s tough to get a gauge on that until we see TC and preseason. I think sideways is about where i peg him for now. Some positives and some negatives surround Palmer.

The offense was good last year, but will our new OC Knapp have the guts to go for the jugular like Hue/AS did? Will he pull the trigger and “turn it loose”?

Losing the defensive talent in Routt, Huff, Henderson, Wimbley, CJ37, Branch, Curry aren’t huge losses, but to say we have “addition by subtraction” is a bit naive. If we had all these guys and Allen, we’d have a strong defense. The real addition by subtraction was Bresh for Tarver. That was the real upgrade.
