Reggie is doing the best he can with the hand dealt him. He’s having to cut people not because they aren’t good players or because he doesn’t want to keep them. He’s cutting them because their pay scale is out of whack and to cut them is the prudent move. Its about doing what you have to in the short term to get to the point where you can start making moves for the long term. Some guys just have to go, other you have to let them go, understand? He is also signing the best guys he can given the circumstance. I don’t know if any of you guys posting ever played any sports but sometimes all guys need is a chance to actually play and they blossom. Some guys play better in the game than they do in practice. I think Reggie is doing the best he can given the options at hand and hoping for the best. Some moves will work, others will fail miserably. We have to wait and see.

Last. Seems like the Chiefs are having a great free agency. We can’t be too conservative, that’s not the Raider way. As for Gallery, I didn’t know he was cut, but good. He made his money, so now come back and sign for the minimum.

If ou have a choice of great center vs. great guard, the center wins out from an importance to line continuity every time. Move Wiz to center and backfill at guard. Sign Satele as BU-C for league minimum if you can’t find a better back-up.
