Lets wait for training camp before deciding if Taiwan Jones is better than a guy most of us have hardly if ever seen play in NFL. Jones looked like an explosive runner but needs to block much better, including blitz pick up, before he sees much playing time in relief of D-Mac

good to add Goodson. Sounds like a pretty good ZBS runner/receiver as backup to D-Mac and a good all around special teams player, young so he should have a lot of tread left on his tires. I suspect he blocks much better than Taiwan Jones does, at least as of 2011.

If he can’t end the fumbling issue, I think we still need to find a goalline & short yardage runner. Maybe one of the guys on roster, Lonyae Miller or Rashawn Jackson, and maybe more to come in to compete.

As far as Campbell, he’s probably better suited to T than G and we have enough T. His great physical gifts are intriguing but not the most important thing for an OL prospect. He is still young and some on this board says he has a learning problem so maybe he’ll improve.

But the important thing as far as the Raiders is that Campbell just hasn’t progressed and can’t be counted on after 2 years. So rather than seeing this as the new Reggime getting rid of an Al Davis guy, I see this as getting a player we need for a player who hasn’t produced and plays a position we are already deep at … who probably would have been cut otherwise.

Good! Campbell is a bust and dumb as a bag of dirt. Now trade McFragile for more picks. He’s a sissy, selfish, won’t take a shot for the team that was fighting for the playoffs. Don’t need him. Trade him while he has a little value left.

Good trade. We get a versatile skill position player who can compete for the backup RB spot and compete as a KR for a backup OLinemen who has been sitting the bench.

As long as Goodson is healthy, he should be DMC primary backup. He did a good job being a backup in Carolina. He has some good games as a spot starter.
