as many other Al picks will be coming up in the next couple of years. why do you think he doesn’t want this team to get penalized anymore and go over the cap every year? so he can afford DMC and SHO-nasty when they’re FA”s after this year. both of them will prove to be the best players on the team for their side of the ball… and Reggie knows this.

watch, ‘Benson visits OAK for a work out’

i do believe NFLN now that i see they pay more for inside info … seeing as La Canfora was reporting ‘Branch and OAK’s deal is the closest of all of them’ … the fact they reported many times over about ‘Benson wanting to play for the Raiders’ and ‘the only thing is slowing the deal down in money’ from everyone tells me a deal is imminent.

IF ANYONE CARES: Rice is about to sign as well.

what a great deal for a future great player.
we’ve talked about it, he has a very slim chance in failing in this new system. he’s had to do so many things and be in the wrong positions over the years, all because of TERRIBLE play calling … now he’s in a traditional SS position on a multi-look defense… it’s going to be exciting folks.
