Raiders first training camp practice in 40 minutes
By Steve Corkran
Monday, July 30th, 2012 at 8:17 am in Oakland Raiders.
The dawn of a new era for the Raiders has been in full swing for the better part of six months now. The next phase begins in a little more than 30 minutes, when the 89 players on the roster assemble on the two practice fields here in Napa for the first training camp practice.
It remains to be seen whether all 89 players are able to practice at full tilt. Coach Dennis Allen said Saturday that he wasn’t sure at the time whether all his players passed their physicals.
For sure, we are told, the likes of center Stefen Wisniewski, running back Darren McFadden and wide receiver Denarius Moore will be on the field.
The first practice begins at 8:50 a.m. and is expected to run until 11 or so. From there, it’s on to a news conference with Allen and player interviews.
I will be Tweeting live from the field throughout practice and posting throughout the day.

204. We’ll find out pretty soon.. Its finally football time
Criner wont beat dhb… No way
Burris wont beat wheeler.. No way
Bergs definitely have the best shot of winning the job. Size, experience in the zbs, & strenght make him a possibility but carlisle has kept a starting job for years n years for good reason. ..Skills
************************
No…..your dreams are gonna get slaughtered
Criner as I said eventually will take DHB’s spot…and if you read correctly I said by november…you have yet to dispute that he is of the mold of a poss wr more than DHB is
I’m glad we got Wheeler but you acting like he is some pro bowl player…Burris is extra aggressive and a helluva guy coming off edge….napa is about competition this time around
Carlisle started not due to skills but becuz we had trash on the depth chart for guards…come on man
July 30th, 2012 at 8:22 am
37 minutes and 43 seconds until DMAC goes down…
July 30th, 2012 at 8:23 am
How can we track that Bcz24?
That’s a good way to look at his production.
How many tackles at or behind the LOS should he have this season?

215, Especially considering Roger Goodell has a world of influence on whether or not #55 is the starter at MLB, and how weak Curry is at his spot, I don’t think either are any kind of “lock”. Wheeler is a (barring injury) set-it-in-concrete lock starter though.
***********************
Wait…so Wheeler a guy who isnt a highly touted player and new to this team is a lock but McClain and Curry who are returning starters arent? LOL

If Criner is good enough to beat out DHB, shouldn’t we really be looking at more 3 and 4 WR sets?
What about J Ford?
DHB may not be the perfect WR, but he certainly brings something to the table.

We should be looking at doing real offense but we have Knapp so more 3-4 WR sets is wishing on a star like Rose Royce
Ok….Ford?….you got something to you trying to tell us?
DHB does help out…he just not a poss WR

A little bird last week told us that Carrier can long-snap!lol

It’s just as well that we have so many good and talented WR’s in camp. Carson will make good use of all of them and no doubt injuries will reset the depth chart. It’s troubling that we don’t have any established TE’s but maybe the REGG will bring in one off the table scraps of other rosters. I don’t see the WR depth pecking order as a big deal to worry about unless you have something riding on them for fantasy football. It’s gonna be great rolling in one star WR in after the other this year.
July 30th, 2012 at 8:31 am
2. Im not talking about nov. And you responded to me. My preseason predictions was that none of the rookies steal any starting jobs. Except by injury..
Dhb.. Safe
Wheeler.. Gotta earn it. But burris isnt much comp..
Bergs.. Best chance. But cc has beeb a long time starter. Not just for us..
Anything can happen by nov..

Exactly the thought process behind the ideal of “No More Scholarships”, and allowing rookies to take incumbents spots. Produce on the field or lose your job. I think the 2012 starting roster will have some big surprises on both sides of the line compared to what is projected right now.

LMAO at the ‘once’ defense.
Hey, McLame only jogged ‘once’.
He only whiffed ‘once’ on an easy, game sealing tackle.
He only got arrested ‘once’.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a MLB that we can count on and have the defense make a stop, for ‘ONCE’ ?
‘Once’ upon a time we had great expectations for Ronaldo.
‘Once’ upon a time is also how alot of fairy tales begin.

Just been asking you guys to help me understand your position from a football and Raider benefit perspective.
You clearly have more personal reasons for not liking the guy than I do. I could care less about his off the field stuff.
I can accept Bcz24’s take on impact plays. Would love to find a way to track tackles at or behind the LOS.
July 30th, 2012 at 8:51 am
Some points of caution as we enter into a “new age”:
The old defense got us to five SuperBowl appearances, three world championships and countless division titles and playoff appearances. It was accomplished with the likes of Dave Rowe, Dewayne O’Steen, Nemiah Wilson, Carleton Oats etc. Few Hall of Famers, just solid football players.
You need to control the line of scrimmage to stop the run and pressure the passer. You need to tackle well to play good defense. Scheme is a weak excuse to cover for poor player execution.
Gap Control. Please remember that other teams offensive lines get paid very well to CREATE gaps.
Our defensive line is soft and gets pushed around.(After 10/8/11 how can anybody say we couldn’t play more zone or blitz more?) We lost on the last day of the season because our players got beat. Pure and simple.
Going “multiple” will not correct that. Only better players will help.

I don’t know if there’s any tread on those tires, and he’s always been a headcase. I don’t see Shockey as a fit. I wanted Shiancoe but that ship has now sailed. The only other hope I have is the glut of TE’s up Seattle. It would be nice to land Zach Miller off waivers from Seattle if they kick him to the curb.

I can’t seem to find the TFL stat for individual players. ESPN has a ‘Stuffs’ stat, but I am not sure what it indicates, if it is their tackle for a loss stat then Ro only had 3 last season. 3 out of 99 tackles. Needs to improve.
If we can find the stat, then we can find the NFL average for MLB, Romac would have to be better than the league average to justify his #8 draft position, but at this point, middle of the pack would likely be a drastic improvement, and I would take it.

July 30th, 2012 at 9:20 am
Really?
You’re reaaly going to try and attack the word once?
Fact of the matter is you are judging a player one TWO on the field plays. All summer, you have come up with 2 plays, lol.
==================================================
Not attacking the word, ‘once’.
I’m attacking the ‘once’ defense you’re using to defend McLame.
In football, it only takes one missed tackle to lose a game.
It only takes one instance of jogging or giving up on a play to set the tone for the entire defense.
Making a play ‘one’ time isn’t a big deal. That’s what you’re paid for and supposed to do. Each player consistently and reliably doing his job translates into a competent defense and wins.
Failing to hustle even one time or missing a game deciding tackle even one time is a huge deal.
You’re only as good as your weakest link.
Although you might not be concerned or care about Ronaldo’s off field issues, the reality is, it has a definite impact on whether Ronaldo is going to be available to play or has a future with the Raids.
You’re wrong if you interpret my bringing up the jogging, whiffing and getting arrested as being personal or having some sort of hidden agenda or bias against him.
I’m a Raider fan and I expect excellence from everyone associated with the franchise.
No one gets a pass.
Whatever heat Ronaldo’s getting from myself and the Nation is well deserved.
If that seems personal to you, so be it.

After Ford plays 3 great games, 8 average games and misses 5 games, he won’t have much of any value.

As far as Savage, I have been right about him all along so here goes another bit of truthspeak:
He will start the year at LG as a full-time starter, by about the mid-point he will be splitting a portion of the reps with Begs but still see the majority of snaps, and if Bergs emerges, Bergstrom will finish the year as the LG, and Savage will retire at the end of this year.
And he will leave our G position in much better shape then when he came here.

I agree that Bey has improved quite a bit, and last year was significant growth even game to game. But he was also force fed the ball at times, and he still has to stutter step mid route and square up to the QB to make a catch. It really puts him at a disadvantage of getting yard after the catch separation. Much better at corraling the ball though it’s ugly, but the technique is why he’ll never catch many TD’s.

If Ford wants to make an impact on teams, he has to return punts.

JFORD is a threat to house one from any point on the field. The more chances he gets the better for the NATION.

The problem with all 3 TE’s Myers, Gordon, Aus is that none of them can be a focal point of the opposing defensive coordinator. They are all but forgotten scheme wise and it’s like they are going to dare Carson to throw to them. When they double up Moore consistently because of a lack of a playmaking threat is when we will discover our fundamental offensive weakness.

Criner as I said eventually will take DHB’s spot…and if you read correctly I said by november…you have yet to dispute that he is of the mold of a poss wr more than DHB is
============================================
Padner, you high. Guys 6′2″, 220 that run 4.3 forties don’t just fall out the sky every five seconds. DHB has improved every year, and last year he improved on a quantam level. Criner may be a good possession receiver, but let’s see how he does with Eric Berry bearing down on his ass before we anoint him the new Steve Largent.

I go to every game and see what you dont see Rob!….if you knew football then you know no MLB will play well with lackluster DTs. That is the main issue with McClain.Dont take no shot at me btch with your barely come posting ass! Comparing McClain and Howard shows how much of a fool you are.
Our Dline has been awful.Seymour is a HOF for his play in NE not here! You going off reputation and its sad. Kelly is one dimensional and needs to be cut. He hardly ever makes plays in the run game at or behind LOS.
LB play hasnt been good but DL is worse. First line of the defense is the DL…thats why the defense stinks.
McClain is much better than Kirk….a punk? Naw never…he slow at times and you basing on slamming the Rams guy one time as evidence he only hits smaller guys is lame….all of the fkin guys he tackles except TEs he is bigger than! You want him to let little guys do him bad?
Carlisle is awful! He has got worse each year since 07. They are not gonna run the Tom Cable version of the ZBS….you need to talk to Raider Dell about this. Carlisle lacks the size and strength at 35 to be a starter in the NFL. He is soft and under 300 lbs. He got physically punked alot last year. No he doesnt get it done….watching him and Satele next to each other made me puke at the Coliseum. This is why we are all excited about Bergstrom because he is big, mean, strong and nasty at 6′6 313 lbs. See our guys now have athleticism to do ZBS but also have the means to show power when the field shortens.
DHB will only be starter for so long because he is abot to get ovetaken by that rookie by November. Ausberry? LOL hahahahahahahahaha I doubt he does all that. He got alot to learn about being a TE….Myers will start over him we dont go after Jeremy Shockey
**************************
this guy doesn’t know very much.
according to him, mcclain is pretty awesome. he’s being held back by our pro-bowl DT’s.
gee, while he’s drunk at the games, sitting in mount davis, he can diagnose more than what every nfl expert seems to think and know.
carlisle is what they call a “crafty vet”. he gets the job done most of the time. i know this b/c i watch the plays over and over. he’s not the problem. he’s not as good as he once was but this guy thinks every rookie will come in and be great. he doesn’t know nfl history.
and he thinks dhb is on his way out. LOL. 64 catches for 975 yards. he thinks he’s on his way out. maybe he’ll be cut!
what an idiot.

my predictions:
OL: bergstrom will NOT beat out carlisle. barksdale will NOT beat out barnes. and these are good things. more veteran continuity. the line is above-average.
TE: ausberry is the starter. humphrey makes the team over either myers or gordon.
WR: dhb and moore get most of the receptions. clear #1 and #2 wr’s for the first time in a long while. criner gets 3rd most but mostly 1st down and redzone stuff.
RB: schmitt is the FB, with reece mainly being a receiver. rawshawn jackson or lonyae miller make the team as the “big-back”.
qb: pryor passes up leinart.
dl: houston becomes supersub and bryant starts at end.
lb: burris looks great and mcclain doesn’t. curry eventually becoems mlb with burris outside. have fun in jail rolando.
db: powell makes the team over giordano. bartell and spencer start.

Wiki:
Players can be labeled Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) in the National Football League if they suffer from football-related injuries during the preseason. PUP players may participate in team meetings, and take advantage of the training and medical facilities, but cannot practice with the team.
There are two separate PUP lists: a preseason PUP list and a regular-season PUP list.
Preseason PUPA player who, as a result of football-related injuries, is unable to take part in training camp practices may be assigned to the preseason PUP list. Players can be moved off the PUP list to the active roster at any time, even after one practice. A player cannot be placed on the PUP list, however, once he has taken the field for a practice, even if only for a few minutes.
[edit] Regular-Season PUPA player who finishes the preseason still on the PUP list can then be placed on the regular-season PUP list. Such players must sit out the first six games their team plays. At that point, teams have a three-week window in which to allow the player to begin practicing; from the day the player begins practicing, teams have an additional three-week window in which to decide whether to activate the player to the 53-man roster. If either of those deadlines pass, the player must remain on the PUP list for the remainder of the season.[1]
[edit] Non-Football InjuryA similar list, known as the Non-Football Injury (NFI) list, is functionally equivalent to PUP, but is used for players who are unable to practice as a result of conditions unrelated to football. For example, New England Patriots tackle Marcus Cannon began his rookie season on the NFI list as he recovered from chemotherapy for non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

No way Pryor passes Leinert.
Curry just might be a back-up although his salary might get him cut.
Bergstrom will become the starter at some point this season-and I like CC.
DVD or Chekwa will be one of the starting CBs.
DHB will continue to be a starter at WR.
Kelly will once again be our best DT.
**************
well, leinart is a decent backup. has starting experience. but he’s not really a guy who shows fire. pryor wants to be good. i think he could get a shot on the field and do something, eventually being a more dangerous guy than leinart, but hopefully palmer takes almost every snap.
i think curry showed flashes last year. he hustles. i’m way higher on him than mcclain. i think both of them will get a shot to show they’re better, but burris, goethel, and stupar are waiting and all can play.
bergstrom may become the starter but he will have a hard time doing it by the season, and carlisle would have to struggle or get injured to be unseated during the season. my guess is bergstrom starts next year.
reggie made it clear that CB was a problem. i don’t think he thinks dvd or chekwa are ready. that’s why he brought in so many DB’s. i like both of them but i think the 30-yr-old corners with lots of starting experience will start out of the gate.

Rob,often players are slowly eased into starting positions and that is why I believe Berg will slowly take over for CC this year.We brought in so many 30ish CBs because the coaches have no idea about the 2 young guys.I believe 1 of them will step up and earn a starting job with Spencer being a BU.This is Pryor’s 1st camp-essentially his 1st year.We need to give him time to see if he is even a future option at QB,let alone a BU so soon.
July 30th, 2012 at 12:46 pm
Manning’s arm is probably strong enough to get the job done like he did at Indy, but the neck is one hit from retirement.
Agree that SD coach is weak. For that matter Reggie + DA > AJ Smith and the NORV. For that matter, anyone who has “the Norv” on one side of the equation is the lesser side.
KC is young, inexperienced, but have loaded up in free agency and are going to be tough in all 3 phases, just not stellar. I expect a good fight from them.

According to RHH, the Raider’s greatest need (that the Redskins can satisfy) is at tight end. There has been no official release of information regarding trade talks other that what Bruce Allen said this morning. I dunno, top to bottom KC looks loaded for bear. With any kind of coaching and an average year from Cassel, they are going to be contending for the AFC West.
Raiders have a great offense, but who knows if that regresses any with Greg Knapp? And the defense is borderline horrific, with some improvement expected by the new coaching staff.
San Diego has horrible wideouts and Gates is aging and on the downslope, the defense isn’t very good. They are coached by the Norv. They suck.
Dungver could be exceptionally good if Manning holds up. But there are too many variables to believe that will happen. They either win the division or end up in the cellar. I think they end up in the cellar.

Bruce Allen said on ESPN980 this morning that he’s been on the phone with the Raiders trying to hammer out a potential trade.
The Raiders under Reggie McKenzie haven’t been strangers to the trade market. Already, they have dealt G Bruce Campbell to the Panthers for RB Mike Goodson and Louis Murphy also to the Panthers for a conditional draft choice. This time though, the Raiders may not be looking to get rid of dead weight. They, instead, might be looking to add. Which means the Redskins could be in luck.
Chris Cooley is my favorite player on the Washington Redskins. He is the longest tenured Redskin, edging Santana Moss by a single season. There are only FOUR!?! players on the current roster who were drafted and developed by the Redskins prior to the Shanahan era. Chris Cooley is one of those four, along with Fred Davis, Brian Orakpo, and Kevin Barnes.
But Cooley has also been a limited player since the 2009 season. It’s been nearly half a decade since Chris Cooley was a top ten tight end in pro football.
Cooley simply peaked early. He was great in 2005. In 2006, he was probably the best player on the team. He was money again in 2007. In 2008, his TD totals dropped, but his yards per catch went up actually. He played for three different offenses in that timeframe. Cooley was the best thing the Redskins had going.
Even though, numbers wise, Cooley had another top season in 2010, he hasn’t been the same player since 2009. He’s a little bit better of a blocker now, but he lacks explosion, and his hands haven’t been as consistent as they were earlier in his career. If Cooley can rediscover himself around the red zone, the former high school wrestling state champion can carve out a nice niche at the end of his career the same way his good friend Todd Yoder did with the Redskins. But Cooley’s knee is going to remain problematic, and even before it got this bad, he wasn’t the same player he was in his mid-twenties.
And so if the Raiders come asking for a tight end with starting experience in the west coast offense who can be a seam option and safety blanket for Carson Palmer, the Redskins have to be willing to listen. I thought last offseason was the Redskins last chance to get something for Chris Cooley. Today, it appears from 30,000 feet above that they still might be able to get something for him.
It won’t be much. We’re looking at either a projectable offensive tackle prospect such as 2011 third rounder Joe Barksdale, a veteran like Khalif Barnes (1-year, $2 million contract), or a conditional pick in the 2013 NFL draft.
But between the Redskins and the Raiders, it’s now the Redskins that sport the true “vertical” offense. The Redskins have an offensive philosophy off the passing game that makes Chris Cooley a liability. Cooley can still contribute off the team’s vast play action packages, but Niles Paul is much better suited as both a blocker and a receiver to attack defenses where they are weakest. Having Cooley on the roster will help the running game find its stride, but really limits opportunities for younger players to get a chance. That by itself is a decent trade-off, but now if a team will trade for a part that is already kind of getting in the way, you have to do it.
Lets be clear that we do not know that Bruce Allen has been discussing Chris Cooley with the Oakland Raiders. But if you look at where the Raiders’ greatest needs lie, they need help at offensive tackle (the Redskins can’t offer that), at cornerback (the Redskins can’t offer that), and at tight end. Sure, it’s possible that the trade is about the Redskins trying to acquire safety help from the Redskins, but I think things are clear when you read between the lines. The Redskins don’t already know that Cooley is a lock to make the roster (on merit, he probably makes it). The Raiders are short a tight end, and run a scheme that Cooley still fits. The Raiders have been active traders this offseason, and the Redskins have confirmed they’ve been in talks.
Why confirm routine trade talks unless a fan favorite is involved? That wouldn’t make much sense.
We’ll see soon enough.

i like our te’s ok too, but dennis allen made a point of saying it was an area needing an upgrade.
giordano is probably on the bubble. made a lot of good plays last year but he really is a step slow for the position. i like powell to make the team. reggie brought in powell, crawford, and stupar from that vaunted PSU defense. or to save them from sandusky/b#tch dog.

RE Post #556
I was listening to the same radio broadcast in the D.C. area. What kicked the whole discussion off was the fact that the Redskins are moving their camp south to Richmond, VA next year. When asked, GM Allen said “We’re excited for the opportunity to involve all of our Raider Nation fans in southern Virginia.” He quickly recanted and said “Redskin fans” (not Nation, by the way – further proof that there is only one Nation) – and went on to say “Well, I’ve had the Raiders on my mind because we are talking about a potential trade”. He wouldn’t elaborate any further than that. So the whole thing was a slip-up — all because another team’s GM has the Raider Nation on the brain!!! Way to go, bonehead — Reggie would not commit such a gaffe.

It’s all about havin the gas to finish the game. They have got to be a 4th qtr team with juice left in the tank. No more suckin wind in the late game like last year. Fck yeah.

Its not the determination of the routes.
Its the fact that Ford hasnt shown the ability to run routes.

neither one honestly. moore or criner. dhb still has his issues but numbers don’t lie. he had a good season and i expect him to get better. he may never have glue-like hands but he is producing. having guys like criner and ausberry could give us nice 1st down targets. but al davis was correct on dhb. his incredible speed makes CB’s play soft because they have no choice. it allows easy underneath stuff. and he gets yards after the catch because he’s big and strong. i think more is coming from him.

You can’t really blame mistresss biachi for focusing on nobs. She lives in her stepdad’s garage and when he comes home me makes biachi play “Call of Duty” with him and his “Uncle Mike”.

OH HELLS YEAH
This may be a blog first, Brahs
Follow the comedy along:
1) Nob Raider gets destroyed in a blog rap war
2) Nob fires up sock puppet RaiderfanDork to help lick his wounds
3) “Ultimate Blog Punching Bag” Peemore Bust jumps on the sinking nerd ship
I don’t think it gets any better than 3 scared minions spooning each other for support, holla

IF DHB CANT IMPOVE HIS AGILITY AND QUICKNESS HE BETTER BE A T.O.TYPE AND I MEAN BEING PHYSICAL. TAKE A SHORT PASS GIVE A STIFF ARM AND TAKE IT TO THE HOUSE. T.O. WAS GREAT AT THAT.

Jerry, can we finnally get the full blown?
July 30th, 2012 at 2:27 pm
Did DHB go work out with Palmer this offseason? He nneds to develop that level of trust a QB needs with his #1 WR. Moore and Palmer seem to already have it.
DHB improved a lot in year 3, so I am holding out hope that he can produce a few TDs in 2012. He just has to prove to Palmer that he can be trusted to go get the ball when Palmer gives him an opportunity. Don’t wait for the ball, don’t let the ball into your chest….go get it and make a move!
July 30th, 2012 at 2:27 pm
dhb does need some more refinement but who woulda thought he would do what he did last year? i’m hoping he continues.
i like ford but he really hasn’t shown much more than some explosiveness.
criner dropping to the 5th was mainly due to his 40-time. and he didn’t have as good of a year last year as the year before. but he was a 1st team pac-10 guy. and by all accounts he has looked fantastic. ask murphy.

If we are indeed deep at the WR position, then expect lots of GB 4 WRs look. CP3 will have a great year with that formation.
++++++
DMO, DHB, JFORD, CRINER… Which one will see the roll in coverage to where they are?
Which one gets to abuse a LB?
July 30th, 2012 at 2:28 pm
Uh oh”, looks like biachi is starting to melt down as usual. don’t worry biachi, “Uncle Mike” and “Daddy” will be home for a new round of “taste the snake”.

Did DHB go work out with Palmer this offseason?
++++++
Yes he did…not worried about DHB. He will be productive.
July 30th, 2012 at 2:28 pm
JFORD bailed out Jason Campbell as a rookie in a game against KC.
yes, it happened.
before then??
since then ??
he’s a solid kick returner, when he can secure the football. he’s young & has potential
nobody is disputing any of this. He’s just not a Top 4 WR for the Raiders
problem?

yup. Palmer did go to DHB a lot in crucial situations last year. Houston and the last KC game come to mind.

YES HE SPUN OUT OF A TACKLE AND TOOK IT TO THE HOUSE BUT TO ME THAT WAS MORE OF A MISSED TACKLE THAN DHB GREATNESS. THE REASON HE GOT HIS NUBERS WAS BECUZ HE GOT SOFT COVERAGE BUT AGAINST A TOP FLIGHT CORNER DHB WAS SHUT DOWN
July 30th, 2012 at 2:32 pm
AIG,DHB was the guy Palmer looked to on 3rd down last year. Why wouldn’t he?The Dbs are usually at least 10 yds off him.Easy throw and catch 1st downs.

IM TAKING THE WAIT AND SEE APPROACH ON CRINER I NEED TO SEE HIM AGAINST A REAL LIVE DEF BEFORE I JUMP ON HIS BANDWAGON. PLUS HE WAS DRAFTED IN THE 5TH FOR A REASON RIGHT?
++++++++
Make no mistake bruh Criner is the truth…Cannot Sleep or leave out Streat, and McGee…We will be very deep in WR, which Is why i advocate some 4 and 5 WR sets. We have the personel for it finnally.

BUT THIS ISNT THE PAC 12 THEC JUST NEED TO SEE HIM IN A REAL GAME

TEAMS SHOULD NOW KNW THAT DHB ISNT GOING DEEP TOO OFTEN SO THAT MAY LEAD TO TIGHTER COVERAGE WHICH LEADS TO LESSER NUMBERS FOR DHB UNLESS HE COMES OUT THIS YAER AND SHOWS HE CAN CATCH THE DEEP BALL
July 30th, 2012 at 2:37 pm
AGAINST A TOP FLIGHT CORNER DHB WAS SHUT DOWN

Can you say take what the defense gives you.Why should Palmer force him the ball when he has a Revis covering him when the other WRs have lesser CBs covering them? And,Revis did cover him last year on almost every play.
July 30th, 2012 at 2:38 pm
RRS,
DHB has a career total of 6 tds after 41 games in 3 seasons. Ford has 9 tds in 24 games and 2 seasons. Why you guys diss on Ford is amazing. Perhaps I suspect you folks wouldnt treat him the same way if he was a first rounder like DHB. People seem to have lots of patience for first rounders. I can careless where they are picked on the other hand.

I AGREE LEFTY BUT I SAID THAT TO SAY DHB MUST IMPOVE HIS DEEP GAME IN ORDER TO BECOME A COMPLETE WR SO HE DOESNT JUST HAVE TO STICK TO RUNNING 10 YARD ROUTES

It ain’t Tinker to Evers to Chance but Condo to Lechler to Janokowski has worked very, very well for the last 12 years.
It ain’t their problem the rest of the team sucked! If you ain’t down with that trio you’re an idiot.
