Jacoby Ford is having a rough night. Pair of drops, intended target on a Carson Palmer pick and dropped and retrieved a punt, stepping out of bounds.
Raiders gave up 3 yards rushing and committed two penalties in the first half _ both on offense. A Jared Veldheer hold and an illegal block in the back by Richard Gordon.
Darren McFadden out of the game with 20 yards rushing on two carries and a reception for 18 yards. He’s ready.
Carson Palmer 4-for-7, 38 yards (two Ford drops).
Second-team O-line in before quarter ends _ Barksdale (RT), Nix (RG), Parsons (C), Bergstrom (LG), Haslam (LT).
Stefen Wisiniewski left with injury. No word on severity.

Initial impression: Offense looks a bit boring comparatively (could be due to the JFords drops), but efficient. Defense looks OK but CB could be somewhat problematic (I guess thats the cost of going cheap there).
I’ll be interested to see what Pryor does.

LMFAO! Theres a bunch of chicken littles in here, I for one love what Im seeing from the D. The O had some chances to get it going, but a few drops from two of the most sure handed players in camp this season held us back. Ford should of caught that pass that got picked too, Palmer probably figured the ball hawk Ford is was going to come down with it. All is not as bad as some of you guys are making out to be.

OK, so that was a crappy half. What do I take away from it ?
1) The offense despite looking sloppy and the bad drops, still figures to be able to put points on the board as long as CP(Captain Pick) quits giving the ball away.
2) The defense might actually be improved.
Disappointed we were sloppy, CP’s pick was pathetic, pass protection was spotty, but still confident that side of the ball will be OK.
Houston and Kelly provided some pass rush, run defense looked surprisingly good. Didn’t see Slo-mania jogging.
Coulda been better but nothing (besides CP’s bonehead pick) that really gets me worried. Ford will be OK. Criner won’t drop that pass again.
We’re good.
