When Dennis Allen said he plans on giving Darren McFadden preseason work, he means it.
McFadden had nine rushes for 34 yards and one reception for 17 yards _ 10 touchdowns, 51 yards _ before the game was one quarter old.
Oakland scored on a pair of field goals by Sebastian Jankowski (18 and 38 yards) and on a safety recorded by Tommy Kelly on Arizona quarterback Kevin Kolb in the end zone.
Arizona scored on a 3-yard run by Ryan Williams on its opening drive.

Seems from what I’ve read so far and reading comments that the offense is still a work in progress.
However, camp is HARD WORK. Add to it 2 games in 5 days and it has to be taking a toll on these guys.
Hope they get it together for the season opener.
Remember this… the Giants were on the verge of not making the playoffs and went on a run to win it all.
It make take several games for this offense to gel.

Didn’t get to see the game… wife’s birthday and we are at a bed & breakfast. At least the pool is open 24hrs.
So how was it really? Someone give me a rational, thought out assessment.
……………………………………
Good D, our 1st defensive line was dominant.
O without McFadden is nothing. Streater looked good. Miller looked good. Palmer looked ok except for interception.
I think we are going to be ok, once Reggie gets rid of Al’s scholarship guys.
============================================
At halftime, we outgained zona 184 yards to 53 and 21 minutes time of possession to 8.
3 things that prevented this from being reflected in the score…
1) Turnovers (INT & fumble)
2) Failed red zone opportunities
3) Blocked kick returned by zone for TD (wouldn’t have happened in real game as King appeared to hold onto the ball for too long)
1st team D was very good, including recording a safety. 1st team O moved the chains but made big mistakes.
