Halftime: Cardinals 24, Raiders 11

An interception by Carson Palmer, a lost fumble by Mike Goodson and a blocked punt returned for a touchdown by Arizona’s Justin Bethel gave the Cardinals a commanding halftime lead.
Wide receiver Jacoby Ford (foot) and Goodson (chest) were questionable to return with injuries. Goodson, who fell out of favor in Carolina in part because of fumbles, lost a pair in the second quarter against Arizona. The second was fumbled right back to the Raiders by Clark Haggins. It was on the second fumble that Goodson was injured.
Oakland squandered its second goal-to-go situation of the game when Sebastian Janikowski kicked a 21-yard field goal to end the half, with the Raiders failing to convert a first-and-goal at the 6 with a 3-yard run by Lonyae Miller and consecutive incompletions from Palmer.

Not really sure if RB the problem or ZBS the problem. Suspect ZBS is the problem. It’s just not the Raider way – finesse. Smashmouth works much better IMO.

people do realize that our offensive play calling is very lack luster … and are worried it’s because of Knapp. hey, i’m worried about his very conservative play calling .
i just won’t make judgements until after about a month of regular season football. EVEN THEN, teams can turn it around. ask the NYG of last year! 9-7 and a SB ring.

I have never liked the ZBS, or Knapp.
You know who did have it right? Hugh Jackson when he asked DMAC about the plays he wanted to run. He said power and that’s when 20 got on track.
I say that to say this: Knapps offense does not suit Carson Palmer.

I think the D will be outstanding this year.
that oline cut blocking scheme needs some work.
I liked DMAC out in the flat and CP was running pretty good.
I think DA and Knapp will fix a few things and we are 11-5 easily.
Remeber AZ defense came on real strong last year. They have a very good D

Knapp is really calling some questionable plays tonight. He’s boring me to death. Gotta remember they just played Monday and had a quick turnaround. Special teams? Umm FAIL!!! Not overly concerned though it’s way too soon to jump ship. AZ isn’t a lousy team either, they have some players out there and this is AZ third game.

1)DMAC looks ready, we are a much different team with him in. No way we win the Division unless he finishes the season.
2) Defensive line with ShoNasty looks disciplined and powerful. linebackers look better as well.
3) Once we have D-Wow and J-Ford playing together, look out!
4) No pre-snap penalties and stupid penalities so far!
The Bad:
1) We dont need Carson being a hero, he needs to clean up the int’s
2) Once we get lechler back our Special teams will be better.
