Halftime: Seahawks 13, Raiders 0

Score: Seahawks 13, Raiders 0
First downs: Seahawks 12, Raiders 3
Total yards: Seahawks 202, Raiders 49
What it means regarding first game: Zero.

Will be looking on the waiver wire for more return specialists however. Roscoe Parrish lost one punt return and muffed another, and Coye Francies fumbled his first-half kick return (the Raiders recovered).

    Hey O….

Did you see that punt Shane Lechler dropped on the 10 yard line in the first half? That ball had more back spin than a Eldrick Woods sand wedge from 60 yds out. It bounced once, six feet in the air, and landed in the exact same spot where it first hit. Dude’s fcking money!!

Margerine King could only “hope” to punt like that in his dreams.

    Love ya bro!

That’s why the dude gets paid what he does. He’s the best punter in the NFL by far.

Dude keep trying to defend Knapp because that is what you are basically doing.
Hue’s offense with this years D = Playoffs. They almost made it to playoffs last year with JC/DMAC hurt and that crap D
    _______________

Huejax will never get his props on this blog. People forget what the O looked like before he took the OC job and when he took over as a rookie HC he still almost got this team in the playoffs despite all the problems he faced stated above. If Hue is still the HC which he should be this O would be a well oiled machine instead of a ? Most bloggers know this but just simply won’t admit it some don’t like Hue just because he’s black and others are in denial but we all know Huejax plus Tarvers D = deep playoff run instead we will live and die by the Knapptime.

  • Al_is_theraiders

  • Mistic1 Tha Supavillain

Tonight we have received proof, pryor should be 2nd on the chart. lienart best value at this point is as a pseudo coach helping the guys that may have to actually play learn the offense.

    lienart 3 / 11, 14 yards 1int….yipes

pryor 6/9 55 yards and led our only score, in garbage time with no blocking

If palmer is out for any reason roll with pryor because he brings far more to the table than lienart.

I liked hujac a lot when he first arrived. i thought with he and Al Davis together they would do well. Hu Jac proved he could lead an offense, but he was a TERRIBLE GM. It is becoming more clear by the day that hujac as talented as he was in some aspects neede davis to run everything else. For a while davis supplied him wtih a solid qb and explosive weapons, and would not allow hujac to bring in palmer and other bungles as he wanted.

Once Davis passed hujac went ape. He made the ridiculous trade, made some horrible post game gaffs with the media, and almost had a mutiny after he benched and discarded his team leaders in the middle of the night.

Oh what could have been, hujac and davis needed one another

Mistic…. Ill take CP3 over JC anyday and what did it really cost us? Guess we’ll never know but Huejax was a Rookie HC and was gonna make mistakes as will DA but imo he would have learned a great deal from his first year and would have been primed and ready for this year.

All Preseason zero inside running game. The teams are waiting for the RB cutback in the zone scheme. The Raiders gotta move the D-line round around abit for a crease open up but it is not happening. Raiders a throw first team? It may have to go that way.

Hujac was a very talented play caller but he made sevarl crucial errors was davis passed. He simply couldnt stay.

1.) Going too far with the water works after the win in texas
    2. Trading for carson palmer especially with such unfavorable terms.
    3. discarding and undervaluing the team leader jc
    4. the mysterious benching of DHB and boss
    5. signing tj housh
    6. setting the all time penalty mark
    7. failing to bench romac
    8.failing to improve the defense
    9. throwing players under the buss after the final loss
    10. throwing coaches under the buss after the final loss

  • alex7

Palmer cost us Nate Solder and some random mid-2nd-rounder which over half of don’t make an NFL team for more than 3 seasons.

That’s not too much to give up for a legit QB that is the difference between playoff potential and 6-10.

The Cards gave up more for Kolb.
The Broncos used up as much for Tebow.
The Jets used up as much for Sanchez.
The Bears gave up WAAAAAAY more for Cutler.
Redskins gave up 2nd and 3rd for McNabb.

    2. Trading for carson palmer especially with such unfavorable terms.-Move had to be ade

    6. setting the all time penalty mark-bad move
    7. failing to bench romac-bad move(rookie HC)
8.failing to improve the defense-bad move shoulda fired chuck b mid season
    9. throwing players under the buss after the final loss-Great moved I loved it playes deserved to be embarrassed after that performance
    10. throwing coaches under the buss after the final loss-same as above
    11. saying he wanted more power-considering we had no gm and horrible D staff can’t blame him.

  • alex7

you can’t really fire a DC mid-season unless there is a better candidate in house that can just take the current team philosophy and improve it a little.

You can’t make wholesale changes to a unit mid-way through a season.

    Just doesn’t work like that.

And it’s not like there were incredible DCs just standing around with no team to coach.
